The clearance sales are great too. We hadn't really considered this store as an alternative to your average big box hardware store, but it really is! They have so many things! From brooder chicks in the spring to lawn sweepers to tow behind your ride on mower in the fall, fencing, Clothing , in sizes that fit so many average real women! There is camping hunting and all the stuff for growing your own food. It's amazing. Plus, propane tank swap program so you can get it all here. Bike racks if you have that locomotion. For accessibility, the aisles are a bit tight, two wheelchairs won't pass but otherwise the store is fair for accessibility. Wide spots for a ramp, easy curb access to the door. I did not evaluate the washroom facilities but will update when I do. The only reason I can't give them five stars as the online shopping is a bit challenging. Search is... a wrestling match to find something you were JUST looking at sometimes. Public washrooms and fitting rooms to try on the clothes... and sizes for curvy girls!! Did I mention there's even an EV Charging and parking spot?! Has become our go-to for most hardware and garden items!

Right now there is a sign saying up to 30% off everything in store. Truthfully everything is 10% off and the stock is getting quite thin. They do have Christmas items at 60% off while they last. There are a few things at 30% which may be okay deals. Things at 10% off you can probably find better deals elsewhere. I suspect deals may get better as stock dwindles and they want to get rid of everything so you may want to check daily on things.

But after 3 weeks, I hadn't heard a word from them. I was driving by, so I went in to inquire about the status of my order. As it was a long weekend, and the employee who'd originally served me wasn't there, they took my name and phone number and assured me that I'd receive a call on Tuesday. I did receive a call on Tuesday, but missed it. I spent the next two days calling back only to be put on hold for 15+ minutes each time before I hung up. Finally I managed to leave a message with the person who answered the phone, and my call was eventually returned. When the employee returned my call, he said that he'd called me and I'd never bothered calling him back . He said the countertop company needed more information from me - they needed to know where the stove would be. I told him where it would be (pretty sure we'd already been over this) and he told me it would be re-ordered and to expect it in about two weeks later. Looking through my phone records, I found that he had called me in the interim. He had not, however, left a message so I had no way of knowing I was supposed to call him back, or that it was even him calling, since the number that came up on the call display was unlisted. Two weeks later, I called to enquire about the status of my order (sigh). On my first call, the woman who answered the phone told me that the counter guy would be working that afternoon. So, I called at around 3pm I believe. The conversation went like this: Me: Hi, can I speak with XXXXXX in Kitchens? Rona employee: No. Me: Um...no? Rona employee: He's not with us any more. Me: Not with you...like he doesn't work there? Rona: that's right. Me: At all? Rona employee: at all. I was a bit put-off, so I said good bye and hung up. Then a few minutes later I thought that if he wasn't working there any more, there must be someone at least covering his department, so I called back. Another person answered the phone, and I told her "I understand XXXXXX isn't working there any more, but I really my countertop and is there someone covering his department. She told me "I don't know who told you he doesn't work here any more, because he does. He's outside of the store right now but I can take a message." She took a message, and he never returned it. A week after that, I had completely lost my patiences. I called and instead of asking to speak to kitchens, I told the person who answered the phone that I'd ordered a countertop 7 weeks earlier and still did not have it, and had no information on when it would arrive. She seemed very concerned and took my information, promising to call me back once she'd investigate. Two hours later, I received a call from the original kitchens employee. He said "didn't you get my message a few weeks ago that it came in and it was the wrong colour?" This seems totally at odds with the conversation I'd had with him in which he told me that the countertop company needed to know where the stove was, and I definitely hadn't received any message of the kind. After following up twice in the past week, I finally received my countertop. I've gotten THREE bills for it, and it took 8 weeks. We haven't installed it yet and I'm just praying that there are no problems with it because I don't have another 8 weeks to wait on a reorder.

I initially met with Jason…read moreFlorkowsky who came out to the condo to take measurements, and continued to work directly with him throughout the process. My must haves were semi gloss lacquer upper cabinets and continuous horizontal grain walnut base cabinets to go over my freshly laid polished porcelain Calacatta marble floor tiles. Florkowsky's was hired approximately Feb 30/15. They removed the old kitchen cabinets and built and installed brand new cabinets and I had a fully functional kitchen with exactly what I had asked for by May 6/15. Overall the timeframe to completion was a bit long however I can't fault Florkowsky's entirely for that. What is more important to me is the overall outcome of my kitchen and I must say I am in LUV! Here are a couple of examples of what this company will do to ensure the client is happy: 1) I could not decide on the finish/ how much gloss I wanted on the upper cabinetry. I finally decided on 25 %, the upper cabinets were all installed and when I saw them I didn't like the finish, it was too matte. The installers removed all the doors, took them back to the shop, resprayed them with 40% and reinstalled them. 2) ordered multiple sheets of walnut veneer until I found the "ones" 3) I picked out all the cabinet hardware, it was ordered and delivered and then I changed my mind. I found some other cabinet hardware online that I preferred and Jason got it for me! Would I recommend this company? Yes, in a heartbeat! Combine all of the above with quality materials and craftsmanship and impeccable attention to detail, it's a win win and what you will get if you hire Florkowsky's. This is a company that truly cares about the customer. I thought I was picky but Florkowsky's installers exceeded my expectations and I could not be happier. I love my kitchen so much, if I could... I would marry it, lol! Many thanks to Florkowsky's Woodworking & Cabinets, and special thanks to Jason : ) Sincerely ML
