INVENTORY: The inventory at Brunswick Auto Mart is huge for both new and pre-owned vehicles. Make sure that you browse all their buildings located within close proximity. Brunswick Volkswagen building specifically has a huge lot of pre-owned vehicles including Volkswagen (new cars are also available). The inventory is available to browse online as well with helpful filters (great for saving time!) All vehicles include videos and CARFAX. It's incredibly easy to browse for experienced car people and those who don't have any idea what's going on like myself. You get a very clear picture of choices before even visiting the dealership. What I most love about Brunswick Volkswagen is that they genuinely want to find you a vehicle that fits all your criteria - budget, mileage, and lifestyle. That's a a huge contrast to other local dealerships I've experienced in the area. They will gladly partner with you and keep an eye out for the best incoming vehicles. I had several choices for my very picky criteria, and the decision was hard (quite a few choices!) Ultimately my choice was WV Jetta. My first Volkswagen after years of being Mazda girl. He was courteous, professional, and…read moredespite it being a broker - meaning that their prices are close to non-negotiable - he made me a pretty fair deal on a used BMW X5. Dan was a busy with another customer for a few minutes and rather than have me wait he asked another salesman to help me out until he could get freed up. The other guy was pretty good as well. Dan later told me that they don't work on commission at KDK so they all help one another out in order to give the customers the best service possible. In addition, their selection is terrific and their prices are usually fair to good, and sometimes excellent. I use CarGurus.com to compare and evaluate how good a price for a vehicle is, and in my experience KDK's prices are pretty good generally. My only ding, is that they were so busy when I came to finalize the deal and pick up the car that I felt rushed. Also, the car was supposed to be detailed. But it wasn't. It was washed and vacuumed, but the windows were filmy on the inside and it doesn't look like it was detailed. Still, the car was already pretty clean, so this is a small gripe. I will go there again for the selection, the prices, and the service. All were very good.

The headlight and taillight also went out within a week of purchase. Before I even bought the truck, and again after, they assured me the frame was solid, and it was "just surface rust" -- they said they'd trust it themselves. They also promised that if anything major happened, they'd fix it for free. Well, something major happened. The fuel tank fell out while I was driving, and I had to pay $450 out of pocket to get it towed. They refused to reimburse me for the tow. The truck sat at their shop for a week, and when I got it back, they told me it was fixed. It wasn't. I inspected it myself and found the brake line still dangling, held by the same rusted-out strap from when the fuel tank dropped in the first place. I had to point this out to them directly before they'd even address it. To top it off, the headlight and taillight still haven't been replaced, even though I've asked three separate times, to multiple employees, and each time they confirmed they'd take care of it. Still nothing. This truck had serious safety issues that they knew about and downplayed to make the sale. Their follow-through on promises has been nonexistent. I would not trust this dealership with your money or your safety. Seriously considering getting a lawyer to sue. If you want a terrible day in your near future, buy from them.

We go outside and he proceeds to tell me how cars are more expensive this week because its tax refund season and the demand is so high. "Any car on this lot will be $800 more next week," he says. Okay, so I've had about enough of him and I just ask him how much they know about the cars before they buy them. "Not a damn thing." Okay, so its an auction... maybe that's reasonable. So I proceed to ask what he knows about the cars by the time they put a price on them and try to sell them... "By that point, we know that they start and will drive. We don't do safety checks, we don't change the fluids. We just mark them up $3-400 and that's it. It is what it is." So unless you are a mechanic, I don't know why you'd buy anything from these guys. I am not--and although I had already started walking to my car to leave, I decided to ask one more question just for fun. Assuming I were to find a car we liked, I asked if he would mind if we took it to my mechanic for an inspection. His response: "We don't normally like to allow that.... these cars are used and they are all going to have one thing wrong or another, you just have to expect that." I said, "But my mechanic is right around the corner at Royal Car Care." "Oh," he says, "Forget it then. Not a single car on this lot would pass their inspection." He said it with such disdain I could tell it was personal. His response to my final question was priceless. I asked "What would their motivation be, rejecting all of your cars?" I told the salesman that I had changed my mind and wanted my deposit back. He tried to tell me that I forfeited my deposit according to the buyers order, etc. etc. But I checked and Ohio law states that you are not legally under contract until you take possession of the vehicle. He told me that someone else brought the same car and I asked why didn't they choose this one- he got awkwardly silent and said I don't know. Also when I saw him testing the car keys THAT DOESN'T WORK he did something weird like played it off & tried to hide it. On Friday I discovered that my daughter couldn't open the door from the inside. I called Rich again- he says again "Well the car is as is" are you kidding me?! Then I started ranting about how horrible his customer service is- he HUNG UP ON ME then called on his cell phone. Did he not want the conversation to be recorded? I picked up and said If we can't speak on a recorded line- I don't want to speak & it's extremely rude to hang up on somebody then I hung up. I called his manager to complain about Rich hanging up on me, the Car door not working and battery. The manager had a much better attitude! He said "Wow the door not opening is hazardous, well there's a child safety lock feature, why don't you go outside so I can walk you through it to see if that's the issue" instead of a "well the car is as is so the HELL with you" attitude that Rich gave off. So the door was on child safety and it's fixed. Now while on the phone with the manager(Friday) he says "Rich just walked over with some car key batteries to mail out to you" I responded "Oh the batteries he literally just lied and said he mailed on Monday before he hung up on me?" Yea I try to be nice in these reviews but Rich was a complete idiot after his "I'm the nice salesman" mask fell off. I received the batteries this week, put it in the car keys and guess what the car keys are not even PROGRAMMED TO THE CAR! I'm not calling this place again. I'm just gonna pay out of pocket (which I shouldn't have to do) Rich is a complete lazy, idiot that only cared about getting his quota and didn't give a damn what you went through with the car after you drive it off the lot. What if my car door was really broken? "It's an as is car" would've been his response? So with that attitude Rich doesn't deserve to ever be promoted to any supervisor or managerial position because Cresmont will get a BAD REPUTATION with his nonchalant attitude. They also make you sign an Arbitration form so you can't take them to court Besides that the finance lady was amazing and made sure I understood everything. Rich was good in the beginning and patient(which any salesperson would be if they want a quota ) I just don't like his carelessness now. I love the car & I hope to not run into anymore problems with it. One of the Worst Customer Service Experiences I've Ever Had…read more I rarely leave negative reviews, but my experience with Hyundai and this dealership was so frustrating that I feel other customers deserve to know what to expect. My vehicle remained at the dealership for an extended period while I repeatedly tried to get updates. Calling the dealership was an exercise in frustration--I was transferred from one person to another, left numerous voicemails, and rarely received a return call. It often felt impossible to speak with someone who could provide a clear answer. When I couldn't get any help, I wrote letters to Hyundai corporate, including the CEO, as well as dealership management. I hoped someone would at least acknowledge my concerns or explain what was happening. Unfortunately, I never received a response. Eventually, I got my vehicle back, but the overall experience left me feeling ignored and disappointed. The lack of communication, accountability, and basic customer care was unacceptable. Mechanical issues can happen with any manufacturer. What separates a great company from the rest is how it treats its customers when problems arise. Unfortunately, Hyundai and this dealership failed that test in my experience. If you're considering buying or servicing a vehicle here, I encourage you to pay close attention to the quality of customer service, not just the vehicle itself. I sincerely hope Hyundai takes these concerns seriously and improves the way it communicates with and supports its customers.

I made over 10 calls to them and nobody at the dealership would help me until I threatened them with Legal action. The issue was my car originated at another dealership and that dealership had the paperwork. Luckily, the sales sticker listed the dealership that the car was originally shipped to. I had to personally call the dealership that the car came from to get them to send the paperwork since Crestmont wouldn't help me. After sending a certified letter to the GM he called the next day. Told me he would follow up with me and never called back. That is not even the worst part. Pushy finance guy told my wife that adding a warranty would be an extra $5 per month on the payment. So she agreed. Turns out the warranty is $2500. $5 a month on a 60 month loan is $300. Now they are refusing to refund my money even though I cancelled the next day.
