I usually ignore the sales people and speed off but there was something about her that made me stop and roll down my window. That's when I met Julisa. She asked what I was looking for and I told her. She said that she could find me a car because that's what she does all day. I thought what the h3lI will give her a shot. I told her I wanted a luxury suv that was a couple of years old. Less than 50,000 miles. Long story short, a week later I am riding around in 2022 Audi q6. Thank you Julie and thank you Megan for making the financing so easy!

I was looking at a car from this company and just looked at what it said about your down payment and everything and this morning I wake up saying oh your credit score went down because this car dealership pulled your credit. I called them and spoke to a manager who refused to give me his name told me that well you authorized it. No I did not well you need to go call people they're the ones that pulled it I said no it says your name well we weren't even in at 9:48 PM OK but it still says your name your responsible for your lenders, not me going and tracking them down and he laughed at me and I was livid. How are you gonna laugh at me and find it funny that my credit gets lowered because you guys falsely pull my credit. I would never spend a penny with these people when I asked over and over for the's name this morning while talking to him he absolutely refused to give me his name so I told him I was make it what kind of business they are and yes, I hope he gets in trouble for his rudeness of laughing, making a mockery of me and not caring and told me there's no way I could ruin their business or his job because he feels above everyone else from his arrogant conversation and I did inform him, I was gonna then go all over social media and let everyone know about them and file complaints against them for wrongful pull of my credit cause I never authorize a pull of my credit

They ended up finding it in Missouri. Huzzah! We were surprised at how quickly our new car would be coming to us -- we'd have it before the holidays-- to then find out they sent the wrong red civic! So that had to be sent back (we had our fingers crossed that this error didn't mean our exact car had been sold in Missouri. Luckily it wasn't and was sent to us asap.) Overall the staff was friendly (Chip was very knowledgeable), the process of testing cars was painless (other dealerships talk dollars and cents up front whereas Billion did not, which was nice), coming to a number on a new vehicle was a little frustrating (due to it coming from another dealership, they held pretty firm) and overall the process of buying it/changing registration/etc took forever (we scheduled an appointment and they were of course running late). I will say we were tempted to trade in our 2004 Civic Hybrid just for convenience but they were only offering $500 for it. (We ended up selling it in two days after listing it on Facebook for $3500.) So future buyers beware! Overall, Billion was pleasant to work with and we are insanely happy with the new ride!

I contemplated writing this review for quite a while, but after doing some background research on…read moreyelp, I have found out that this is not the first time that a customer who has purchased a vehicle from Toyota of Muscatine has had this issue. My vehicle was purchased in March 2023, and the man who sold me the vehicles name is Frank. I went in and traded my old car in and told him specifically that I was looking for a car that had remote start because I had a small child, and I want my car to be a comfortable temperature when loading her up. He took me over to a 2020 Toyota Corolla SE. I fell in love with the vehicle, and quite honestly that's the only reason they're getting two stars is because they did sell me a reliable vehicle that I haven't had any problems with. Coming back to the main point of my review; Frank told me that the remote start would be on my Toyota app. For the last year, I've been trying to figure out how to download the remote to my app. After some time of troubleshooting and frustratuon and hours of YouTube videos, I decided to call Toyota. Paul, another salesman answered the phone, and helped to the best of his ability. Come to find out from Paul, it's not a feature that's included with my vehicle. Frank was out of the office, but Paul said he was going to look into it, text me with an update and let Frank know to get ahold of me. I'm going to copy the entire text message thread for your reference: Hey! It doesn't look like your vehicle has remote start through the app. I will let know Frank know that you called today and have him follow up with you tomorrow - have a nice day! - Paul Great, thanks -Me Hey Madalyn, Frank Cruz here from Toyota Muscatine, just wanted to follow up with you and see what I could assist you with? Feel free to get back at me at your earliest convenience. Frank Cruz Toyota Muscatine I was curious about the remote start that we talked about when I first bought my car. I know it's been a while, but you told me that I could set it up on my app and come to find out I guess it's not a feature that's installed on my vehicle. Not sure there is much else you can do for me. -Me After I sent this message, I got no response. I then decided to jump on yelp and realized that another woman had the same experience and figured it wasn't worth trying to call the general manager or service manager to try and get it worked out. Maybe if they get enough sub par reviews on yelp, they will take note and educate their salesmen properly. It's very gut renching when you purchase a vehicle for almost $25,000 and the features that you specifically ask for and are insured that the vehicles has by your salesmen are not included.

We test drove a similar model and he showed us pics of the vehicle we were interested in. Only after I asked about a warranty he advised the vehicle has a salvage title, but only due to theft and not damage. Initially we were open to the idea of purchasing a salvage title vehicle. He told my wife and I that he sells lots of cars before they make the lot so we could put a $500 deposit down in the vehicle And if for any reason we decide we don't like it he'd refund the deposit back. He advised that the vehicle was currently at the shop getting a couple panels refinished and that he'd call us in a couple weeks when it should be done. After about a week and some thought we decided we were no longer interested in this vehicle because it was a 1 yr old vehicle with 25,000 miles, and a salvage/rebuilt title with no warranty. We did not want to spend $48,000 on a 1 yr old vehicle with a salvage title with and extended 5 yr warranty and would like our deposit back. He rambled on for several minutes about hypotheticals etc telling me I was taking food off of his table (while holding MY $500). I called twice asking for my deposit back and both times he refused. I'd give 0 stars to this clown. Definitely don't recommend.
