Adding music and art to the in-class curriculum is wonderful and the renewed bilingual immersion is great! The multi-age structure is remarkably effective at encouraging good citizenship in the students, caring for each other and allowing all to follow and develop their passions. This year, Ms. Jill has changed the tone making Creo even more welcoming. The international feel of an AMI certified Montessori school is amazing and Creo is doing an excellent job navigating the balance between staying true to what that certification means and the current atmosphere in public education. We are fortunate to have such a lovely option so close and with community encouragement and support, it could become an option for even more families.

It's been quite a while since I attended this school, but there are still things my teachers taught…read moreme that I carry with me today. Mr. Higgins, my science teacher, had a rule that everyone had to raise their hand, even if we didn't know the answer. If he called on us and we didn't know, we were taught to say, "I don't know yet." That has genuinely stuck with me. I've brought that same mindset into my workplace, and it's amazing how much of a difference those three little letters can make. Not knowing something doesn't mean you can't learn it. I really hope Mr. Higgins is still teaching, and if he has moved on, I hope that mindset has continued with the teachers who came after him. Ms. Holloway was an amazing English teacher and someone I'll always remember. She knew how to build real rapport with her students and make you feel comfortable in her classroom. Even after all this time, I still remember the way she connected with us and how much I looked up to her. Ms. Patricia, my ceramics teacher, taught me another lesson I've carried with me. She was very clear about the boundaries in her classroom and held us to them, while still giving us plenty of freedom to be ourselves and be creative. As I've gotten older, I've realized how important that was. There is freedom within boundaries, but you have to respect where the line is. These all seem like such small things when you're sitting in a middle school classroom, but they ended up having a real impact on how I approach life today. I'm grateful I went to a school with teachers who taught lessons that went far beyond the classroom.

Being a first time parent and transitioning your child from being with you 24/7 to daycare is tough, for child and parent alike. What I found incredibly helpful was the time Ms. Penny took to answer all of our questions and make us feel confident in our decision. The transition was very smooth, our little one runs to the door every time we say it's time for school. He often just runs straight into the classroom, already busy playing, a true reflection of his teachers' supportive and caring nature. He is confident and at ease, and what's been most surprising is how much his knowledge and learning continue to expand. From watching him dance with his classmates to fun tunes, to seeing him replicate that at home, or hearing him point to our eyes and ears and say the words, every day feels like he develops a new skill. His vocabulary and social skills are both continuously growing. Although leaving your child to go to work never gets easier, I have full peace of mind knowing he is in the right hands. We are constantly updated with pictures and videos from his day, along with fun events, dress-up days, learning milestones, and classroom activities. They also have an amazing backyard with real grass for the kids to run around in, and even a splash area during the summer. All in all, I couldn't recommend Goddard on East Germann enough and am endlessly grateful to Ms. Penny, his teacher Ms. Sydni and the amazing teachers who care for our son.

I was terrified to put my daughter In school as a first time mom. I actually couldn't handle the anxiety so I pulled her out after I was sobbing all day the first day she was gone. Well, penny and the staff were not only empathetic but made me feel comfortable doing things on my own time table. So when I decided to try again a week later I was welcomed with open arms. The quality of the teachers here feels more like a family. Everyone in the school helps each other. Miss Jazzy, Miss Caitlin, really every single teacher I have ever met has made me feel like home. They all know your child and love your child. Miss Wulan and Miss Ann Marie were her home room teachers and wow. These woman.. they don't make them like this anymore! Positive, loving, personal, engaged are only a few ways to describe them. They have been absolutely instrumental to Logan's growth and experience. She has thrived and become a social butterfly. These teachers never look tired and are always up beat. Ms Chrystal at the front desk always welcomes you with warmth and familiarity and never judged how many incident reports my daughter had. I was always met with comfort and understanding whenever I was worried about something my Daughter had done! And the school is owned and managed by Penny who is a GEM of a human being. These women are loving, smart, and are valued so much. They deserve the world and I'm so grateful to have found them. I'm forever in debt to this school and all it has done for myself and my daughter. Also, they know how much I love them and never once asked for a review. But if you are a nervous mom, or want an honest take, please ask penny for my number and I'd be happy to walk you through how they made this experience incredible.

We cannot say enough wonderful things about The Learning Garden and, especially, Angela, the owner…read more From the very beginning, Angela has created an environment where children feel loved, safe, supported, and genuinely cared for. It is so much more than a daycare--it truly feels like an extension of your family. Angela is one of those rare people who leads with her whole heart. She is incredibly attentive, compassionate, hands-on, and genuinely invested in every child and family who walks through her doors. You can see how much she loves what she does in the way she interacts with the children and supports her staff. Her passion for providing a nurturing and enriching environment is evident every single day. As a parent, there is no greater gift than knowing your children are in the hands of people who truly care about them. The Learning Garden has given us that peace of mind, and we are so grateful for the love, patience, and encouragement our children have received there. If you are looking for a daycare where your child will be known, valued, encouraged, and cared for like family, we wholeheartedly recommend The Learning Garden. There's a real curriculum and structure, but the teachers weave so much genuine play and joy into everything the kids do. And the cleanliness? Top-notch. But what really keeps us coming back is the relationships. Our son started with Hannah, and they clicked instantly. Years later, our daughter had that same connection with her right away. Both kids have also been absolutely obsessed with Betsy and Fanny and they light up when they talk about them. We've also gotten to know some of the newer assistants like Kate and Ashlyn, and they've built such genuine bonds with both our kids. What impressed us most, though, is how the front office, Kim and Mon especially, make you feel genuinely cared for. We know turnover happens in daycares, and this team handles it really well. Because they're part of a larger network across multiple locations, teachers can transition between centers seamlessly. The kids often already know them or the teachers are deeply trained on the curriculum and processes, so they can jump right in and focus on what matters: the kids. That eases a lot of the uncertainty parents usually feel during transitions. The whole team makes you feel at home. That matters so much when you're trusting someone with your kids.
