After reading all the great reviews on Strong Tower I contacted Francisco through Yelp and got a message back right away. Francisco then understood that my schedule was very hectic and made an evening appointment for his father, Eduardo, to come out and give me an estimate. From the beginning we loved this company, family owned and operated. I wish I would have found them first and not gone through the nightmare of the first company. Strong Tower is the company I will always use for any renovation on my home. Thank you Eduardo and Francisco for making my house a home again!

It has FINALLY been a year since this company did remodeling work for me. Why did I wait so long to…read moreexpress my feelings about the job done? It sent me to the emergency room with an accompanying hospital admission the day after they left our project. In spite of claiming that his crews would return all furniture back to its original location, why did my dining room console appear in the hallway to the master bathroom? I have a sofa in my dining room, blind valances are missing, empty soda cans were left everywhere, my office desk is in the kitchen, the kitchen table is in the great room, so and so forth. Not happy with these issues!! The painters wanted to use their favorite paint. We wanted a different brand, a brand that we have used since we have owned houses. You do not tell the homeowner what brand of paint to use, just use the materials that the owner wants. Granted the project involved quite a bit of work but finding workers sleeping in the closet during lunch was too far over the top. Sticking to the agreed to contract was another sore spot with us. After signing lien waivers that I created, the contractor broke the agreement by asking for money outside of the agreed to payment schedule expressed in the waivers. We should not have had to issue a check to fund his child's birthday party (OBVIOUSLY AND TOTALLY NOT RELATED TO OUR REMODEL) that was a very deep line in the sand. Back to other issues that did not leave us feeling warm and fuzzy. What clothing that had not been boxed up by us was placed OUTSIDE while the floors were being worked on. I guess that is why the workers thought the closets made great bedrooms. I have a number of packages delivered to me each week as I work at home. Just because a box arrives that does not give you (the contractor) the right to start opening the box to see if it was something for the remodel. I had to take it from him (I refuse to even utter his name) and told him that the box contained something personal. Remodeling an entire home is a massive undertaking and it should be done to the owners' specs. Yes, some input into a couple of minor changes is okay but ultimately the persons who run the show are the owners. Will I ever remodel a home again? That is out for debate.

Unsure of who to call and how long it would take, I went on Yelp and Giovanni responded to my inquiry. After careful research, I decided to give him a try and he showed up the same day. He diagnosed the issue, determined the supply line that needed replacement and went straight to work. He cleaned the interior to ensure no mold would form, removed the wet drywall that I missed, replaced it, and painted & finished. By the end of the evening, my wall was as good as new. I also researched pricing with my co-workers beforehand (who were in the construction industry and certified in Xactimate) and he was right within the ballpark on pricing for labor and material. I would definitely call him again for any handiwork needed as I felt comfortable from beginning to end.

Giovanni is amazing! I found out about his company randomly after searching for quotes and his…read morecompany was one of the ones my quotes automatically sent to. Giovanni was responsive, reliable, honest and fair. He was very transparent about his pricing. He came on-site to give me an estimate and started working on some of the smaller handyman jobs such as adding my cabinet and drawer handle pulls, swapping out my master bathroom shower head for a shower head with a wand. He also hung four paintings/artwork for me. He even repaired one of my drawers that were installed incorrectly. I didn't even know it but it was greatly appreciated. I plan to get more work done under him. Awaiting his quote for the bigger jobs such as living room TV wall, adding stone ledgers in my master bathroom windows, recessed lighting, landscaping and a paint job. He cleaned up after he was done and he even apologized for not having his own handheld vacuum cleaner to get a precise cleaning job after his work was completed. Can't wait to work with him again and see what he comes up with for designing my living room TV wall and master bathroom. He has stellar reviews on Google which was what made me book him. He just expanded his business marketing to include Yelp which is why there are a lack of reviews here. But his work is quality and legit.

Its a long review - but thorough! Read this if you are looking for a good contractor or having…read moreremodeling or building work performed in the Houston Area! In and Out Remodeling sets the bar high for professional remodeling and construction services. This is a long review, but I felt compelled to explain how wonderful our experience has been with Carlos. Simply put, In and Out Remodeling, is the very best... They exemplify the important requirements when seeking a good contractor: * Quality * Customer Service * Value/Cost * Time My wife and I moved our family to the Houston area, purchased a home, and wanted to perform a complete overhaul/remodel of the interior. I engaged the market and was fortunate to find Carlos with In and Out Remodeling. We had met with and received estimates from several other contractors, however Carlos was able to start quickly, had reasonable prices, and he seemed very knowledgeable and professional, so we opted to go with Carlos. COULD NOT BE HAPPIER!!!! The entire process was made easy by Carlos! Quality - This is probably the most important element to me. I am OCD when it comes to my house, everything needs to be perfect and correct. And while most people would say that nothing is ever "Perfect", those people clearly never met Carlos and his company. Carlos will ensure that what you ask for is what you get! He utilizes some of the best skilled talent that I have seen in regard to his employees. The folks who did the work on my house were professional, and highly skilled! I get the impression that Carlos has been in this business for a very long time, and was likely a tradesman himself prior to opening his business, because he knows how to do EVERYTHING!!! Just show him a picture of draw him a sketch of what you want, and he will create it. Doesn't matter if it is internal, external, kitchen, bath, custom game room, whatever - the sky (and your checkbook) is the limit. And he truly stands behind his work. If there are any concerns or issues with his services, he works diligently to correct them, and does not stop until you are satisfied. Customer Service - Carlos understands the meaning of providing good service. He is extremely reliable and is very accommodating. I have never experienced any issues when trying to get a hold of him, and if he is busy, he always returns my call. He also is very trustworthy. He does not make promises that he can't keep and does well at explaining any and all issues related with a project (he does not try to sugar-coat stuff - I respect Carlos for this). Value/Cost - Carlos' prices are very reasonable, and usually slightly lower than his competition. But the value he provides for the money - well, I just don't know how anybody could provide more value! Even if Carlos' prices are higher than other bids you are receiving (which I would be shocked to see), I would still go with Carlos, because the level of quality and service he provides can't be beat! Time - As much as I wish this doesn't matter, we all know it does! Time is money, and when projects take too long, or they delay due to lack of planning, it ends up being a problem. Once again, Carlos shines - he started working within days of giving him the deposit. His competition was telling me they were 2-6 weeks out. Carlos is likely able to offer faster timeframes because he has a solid crew, he has excellent resources for materials and supplies, and he is well connected in the industry. We finished the project ahead of schedule, and that was after I added more to the scope of work! Bottom-Line, you must at least give Carlos a chance, and I would be very surprised if you did and still went with his competition, he is that good! And for the record, this is not my first rodeo; my wife and I have purchased many homes and have performed many various remodels over the years. My only woe is that he won't come with me if I ever move away from Houston, because I utilize him for practically everything around my house now! #2 - Garage & Masonry We love Carlos and In and Out Remodeling so much, that there is no project performed around my house without consulting and receiving a bid from Carlos @ In and Out! We wanted to perform an addition to our house, specifically, we wanted to build a detached garage. But there is a caveat - I live in an exclusive neighborhood, and it had to meet stringent building and design requirements. Basically, it had to look exactly like the other garage.... No problem for In and Out. Carlos had his builders on site within one week and had materials there even sooner! Carlos took care of everything, and it looks amazing! Looks like it was built with the house! Lastly, at the conclusion of the garage project, we wanted to have some decorative masonry work done to the front of our house. Carlos built us some very nice custom columns to match our house and did some beautiful masonry work to my bridge and mailbox. AMAZING WORK!
