Got a flat tire. Had to get towed. Every tow truck in my area I called had fake address and was charging high prices. It felt predatory due to the situation I was in. I saw that Romeo's Tow had good ratings and a real address / location. I called the number and he picked up right away. He arrived quickly, was extremely professional, and the price was solid. Would use this company again read more

Romeo's Tow moved my Snap-On toolbox twice, each time with extreme care. The toolbox weighs over 1,000 pounds, and he took the time to secure it properly and ensure it was handled safely. He doesn't rush the job and even drives cautiously on the freeway to make sure everything arrives intact and undamaged. The Snap-On toolbox was delivered down a narrow, steep dirt path. He managed to pull it off when most drivers wouldn't have even tried. Maneuvering a wide truck through such narrow access is no easy task, but he handled it with skill. He isn't too expensive, and we will be using him again. read more

I DO NOT recommend Romeo's towing. I was assigned to them through my insurance. 2 hours after submitting my request my insurance let me know they had been trying to call me for 2 hours, my phone did not RING once! I called and said phone companies have it to block spam calls, again not true mine allows them in and says potential spam. Lady was EXTREMELY rude. I asked how long she couldn't give me an answer as soon as a driver picks it up they will call. I waited another hour and half, I had called back again and she was again extremely rude. I ended up going through my dealer for roadside service because I was not getting help or a time of when someone would be here. I understand it is Saturday but to wait 4 hours for a tow!?!?!?!?! I got an estimated wait time for 45 mins with a different towing company. read more

Excellent customer service. I've called Romeo's tow a few times. Always pro straight across the board. Reliable & on time, prices are always fair, fast, professional. Highly recommend read more

horrible service, they canceled on me after over two hours of waiting. I got reassigned a new company by my insurance to get my car towed and they helped me within 20 minutes. I would never recommend you even speak to these people they're ignorant and they wouldn't pick up the phone for the first hour. I'm so fucking pissed. read more

I recommend them.. guy came out and did his job.. I filed the claim for a tow through progressive. They did a great job and so did progressive.. read more

1st time ever leaving a review - if you need a tow, Romeo is your guy. Best experience ever. Romeo turned what should have been a very bad day (my car had just broke down) and he helped by getting me and my car out of a jam in downtown LA. Thanks Romeo... read more

I got my car towed by Romeo's Tow and I had THE BEST experience. I was in such a bad situation due to a car accident and I was in dire need of getting my car towed and Romeo was such a pleasure to work with. My car engine was dead so he helped to jump start my car and loaded my car up with such great care unlike most tow truck operators who don't care for your vehicle or if they damage your vehicle. Not only that, he also drove me back home because my phone was dead and I couldn't call an Uber to get home. For anyone who is looking for someone who is reliable, trustworthy, kind, and generous, hit up Romeo's Tow. You will definitely be taken care of and in good hands!! read more

Please. Help yourself in this moment. If you're looking for a tow, you are probably frustrated, upset, and confused. Romeo will help you with kindness, humor, and effectiveness. I had already tried jumping the battery before I called him for a tow. He tried it again and it worked. So, off the bat, he showed he cared more about my experience than his money, because I was already prepared to pay for the tow. Then he waited and made sure the car was okay. He stayed in the area until I called him and told him I had made it to my destination safely. He explained things to my kid. I want everyone who ever is in the position of needing a tow truck to know they can have an angel show up. When he actually SAYS he's going to show up. read more

First thing that needs to be said - $150 compared to $250,$165, $260! It was a 23 mile tow but it was such a decent price than all the other tows i called and i couldn't believe those rates they told me. Romeo was the best and thats why i called him again a 2nd time and will any other time i need his service. His flatbed and his service was where i needed it within 45min. and he is very professional and friendly. read more

this company has no business towing for ford. no where close to any estimated time. got my truck hooked up and could figure out how to get the truck out of neutral which being in the tow business you should have that figured out. so i started to to look it up for him after waiting for 4 hours for them to arrive. i go back outside and he had left. very shady and unprofessional read more

Yesterday, my motorcycle battery died on Parkman Ave and Silverlake Blvd. I had called around to find a tow company to help me out, but the company AAA referred me to never answered their phones (L.A. Car Tow). I found Romeo's Tow on yelp, and the service was very quick. Romeo is very friendly, easy going, and dedicated to his work- in fact, when I called, he was heading home from a long day and was still able to answer his phone for a new customer. I absolutely had a much better experience with this family owned business than I've had with others in the past, even amongst well-known services like AAA. 5*s- I'll be coming back the next time I'll need some assistance in LA read more

I never write reviews but the quality work and compassion I experienced today necessitated a review, at the very least. I called Romeo after losing my car keys. The dealership wanted me to get my car towed to the dealership so they could make me a key that was going to cost me $300, so with a tow, I would have had to pay over $500. Instead, Romeo recommended his locksmith friend Marvin with SoCal Locksmith, who he said could make the key for me on the spot. Marvin came to where my car was and made keys for me in under 20 minutes. They work perfectly. I cannot say enough nice things about Romeo and Marvin. These guys are the definition of good businessmen; honest, reliable, and customer-centric. I would highly recommend both Romeo and Marvin for towing or locksmith services respectively. Thank you, Romeo! read more

Romeo Rocks! Don't waste your time with any other tow company, especially for a motorcycle. He is prompt, courteous, and very helpful. On top of that his prices are better than the 3 other tow companies i called. the highlight of someone running into me on my motorcycle, Romeo's Towing.... Rock On, E read more

I had a small motorcycle spill in Echo Park. Called up Romeo and he was there in an instant. He estimated about 45min, but showed up way sooner, was cheerful, and offered a fair price. If I ever need a tow again on the east side, he'll be the first person I call. read more

Yelp removed my short review from 2014, which was simple: "'Greater' LA area is false advertising; a lie." Yelp's reason for the removal: "Your review was brought to our attention by the Yelp community, and we found that it fell outside our Content Guidelines because it did not provide enough detail about your customer experience. " With that in mind I will give detail. At the time when I need the tow, Romeo's claimed to serve "Greater Los Angeles." But when I called them needing a tow of my vehicle, they claimed to not serve my area. At that time I lived on 81st Street, just west of Vermont. Since that is indeed "Greater Los Angeles," saying that they serve it is false advertising and, therefore, a lie. read more

Extremely nice and fast service! Highly recommend. Great guy who got the job done with a smile on his face

I dont write many reviews but I can't speak more highly about this guy. Towing is a business where they can and could stick it to you. The reviews about this guy are spot on. He was here on time and even went back to get the proper truck to get the job done. No complaints just a straight shooter. This is the only guy I will call if I am ever in a pinch with my car. Amazing guy. read more

I came across this review for Romeo's Tow, and although I haven't seen this guy in a while since I've gotten Triple A, I have to give him a thumbs up for all the times he helped me out of a jam in the past. Nice as heck guy, honest, helpful, and cool. Always friendly and just nice to see him pull up when you've got a car problem on a strange street in Silverlake, when Silverlake wasn't hip yet. read more

yes, there really is a romeo. he has come and saved me on the side of the road in this dirty city many times. i have a tendency to drive over nails and leave headlights on and lock keys in cars. romeo is a hard-working upstanding dude. it is very comforting to see him roar up when you are sitting on the curb. i would send him to rescue my mom. he is a gem of a human being and has done repairs roadside that are still working to this day. thanks, romeo. read more

quick, courteous, pleasant, affordable. Romeo was totally rad and fixed my dead battery lickety split!

i promised i'd yelp romeo for saving the day! i had a triple AAA towing guy come out first that asked me to sign a waiver for severe damage for towing my car. since i am not crazy, i refused to do this and called my mechanic who recommended romeo. romeo took the time to put my car on a dolly and tow it in the same condition he found it without any additional damage. he's a stellar guy, very honest and hardworking. definitely, the kind of person you want on scene when your car's outta commission. thanks romeo! i'm recommending you to everyone i know:) read more

I had problems with a flat tire today and after calling several towing companies, Romeos was the best deal. I called and his wife answered. She was sweet and helpful. Romeo arrived within 10 minutes (I was nearby in Echo Park). I had stripped my lug nuts so I couldn't use my donut and that's why j had called for his tow. When he got there he told me that he could use his machine to get the tire off for me so that I didn't have to pay for the price of his tow. He fixed it within 15 minutes, he was polite, nice, honest, and he even had jokes. I walked away paying only $40 instead of the $74 he would have charged me for a tow. Highly recommend as a trustworthy tow man. read more

Great service. Very informative. Prompt. Wish all businesses we're like this. Keep it up, Romeo! Good recipe for a successful enterprise.

What a stand up guy! Even though it was determined in the first 30 seconds of the phone call that Romeo is outside the area of service for me, he still provided me with a wealth of information about towing and impounding. read more

The reviews are spot on - this guy is a gem! The first time I called, he helped me out in a tricky situation (I was out of town, the car was dead in a street cleaning zone and needed to be moved ASAP and walked me through the process of verifying that it was indeed my car, payment was easy, he communicated quickly by text and I even got a text receipt for payment). Then, a week later he was my first call when the car died again. He even gave me a ride home since he had no calls after me AND tested my alternator that I'd just replaced, letting me know it was bad. Stand up guy. Above and beyond what I expected. I'll definitely call him again, but pray I don't have to. read more

I called Romeo's Tow after my car battery died. Romeo was prompt, professional and courteous. He charged me less than the rate I was quoted on the phone and he promised to provide a courtesy jump if my car battery died after I shut the engine off. I will use Romeo again and again. Can't recommend him enough. read more

Romeo's customer service and care for his work is beyond words! Excellent doesn't even express it. He is just a kind caring wonderful person. My car wasn't starting one morning and I was leaving for a long trip. He took care of me and made sure my car started when I got back. Romeo is someone that you only wished existed in those stressful situations. Thank you so much Romeo! read more

Romeo is very professional and so helpful. Had a low, flat tire that basically wore out and we couldn't drive it anymore, after 10:00pm off a freeway. We tried to change the flat tire w a spare one, but we couldn't do it. We live 40miles away. When we called Romeo to tow it, he actually offered to change the tire himself! His on-call service was pleasantly unexpected for that time of the night, and he was certainly, much needed and much appreciated! Would've cost us much more to tow it. Thanks so much again, Romeo! read more

I am new in town and thus do not know anyone to jump my car. Romeo came quickly to do so for me. The service was about $15 more than in West Virginia (my home state) but that's to be expected in Los Angeles. What I was most impressed with was his politeness and professionalism. He was very nice and knowledgeable and did not make me feel stupid for leaving my emergency lights on, thus killing my car battery. He thanked me for my business several times . I would absolutely call this business for any future needs. Go Romeo! read more

He arrived on time, when he said he would. My car wouldn't start and I was just looking for a tow, but he said he might be able to start it and it would be less expensive than towing the car. And, he was able to start it. He was easy to deal with and seems competent and honest. read more

Romeo was incredibly kind and personable, and was very prompt. Highly recommended.

After contacting a few towing services who all seemed like they were more interested in price gouging than anything, I called Romeo's Tow. He quoted me a very reasonable price for his service. He said he could be there in an hour and he was there in an hour. And even though the towing destination wasn't what he quoted me for, he still honored the price he quoted. (The actual destination in Burbank has an identical address to a street in DTLA.) He was genuinely concerned with providing the help I needed. Romeo is a great guy and he is the first I would call if I ever need a tow again. Highly recommended!! read more

I have known Romeo for at least 35 years and have called him on numerous occasions during that time. I have never been disappointed with his service. As other people have commented, he is a very nice person, and I have complete confidence in his integrity. His prices are reasonable as well. read more

Romeo totally saved me. I had to tow a car on a Sunday morning in Silver Lake. I called him and explained that I had to get the vehicle moved to my driveway from where it was ASAP. He said he would be over in 20 minutes to check it out and see if he could help me. He showed up in 15 (Sunday morning) and said he could get it done. Totally professional - fair price. Bonus: cool stories the whole time he's hitching the car. I have his number in my phone now. Great guy - highly recommend him. read more

There is no better tow service in Los Angeles/Silverlake/Atwater Village. Romeo saved me countless times when I was driving my 67 Camaro daily. More recently he has come to my rescue with a Lexus. You won't have to wait for hours even on a rainy day. He is prompt, efficient and just such a nice guy. read more

Today was a miserable day, after I drove an hour to an appointment, only for them to tell me it was canceled. And to add insult to injury, my car died in the parking lot! I was referred to Romeo's Tow by my regular service center. Romeo gave me an estimated time of arrival, and was just a little late (rush hour started -- not his fault), and kept me updated as to his ETA. When Romeo arrived, he instantly put me at ease with his kind, friendly and professional demeanor. He took a quick look at my car and said one of the hybrid batteries probably died. He told me that he wanted to try jump starting my battery first, so I could drive to the service center, instead of him towing me there. This way, he would only need to charge me a modest service fee and not the tow fee. And that was what we did! I'm so impressed by Romeo's honesty and stellar customer service. He made my crappy day a little better, and for that, it's a recommend from me! read more

getting your car towed is probably one of the most frustrating experiences, but romeo made it one of the best in my crappy situation. after calling the shop, romeo called before to confirm my exact location and made the entire process easy and very personable. he gave me sound advice on how to move forward after i dropped my car off at the dealer and i couldn't be more grateful for all his help. if you need a tow, i would definitely recommend romeo's apart from all the other towing companies in the area. prices are honorable as well as the owner - thanks, romeo! read more

I highly recommend Romeo's Tow. Rosa who answered the phone was very helpful and got the truck to my place within 30 minutes. Romeo himself showed up (on time) to tow my car from Studio City to Downtown and the price was great! I even got a text message to confirm that the tow was completed. Go Romeo's Tow! read more

When my truck stalled, I called Romeo for a tow. I was about to schedule a tow just based off his rates, but he suddenly had a thought: maybe my truck just needed gas. Indeed it did. As it turns out, his wife has an older Ford too and when parked on an incline they tend not to start without a quarter tank or more. Sure enough, another two gallons and the truck started again. Five stars for being smart enough to recognize the problem and kind enough to tell me at no cost. Thanks Romeo! read more
