The pizza had the unique panko dough, and garlic knots are huge! They sell them 3 in an order and they are loaded with fresh garlic. They were also saturated in oil, but we didn't have a complaint. The restaurant was quick with the order and my food was ready when I arrived. It was clean inside and they have ample seating.

Finally tried Lubrano's, had heard good things from friends. Decided to just go the take out route…read moreso no comments on dish presentation. We ordered the Pasta Al Forno as an appetizer & Chicken Scarpariello for the main dish. Was quoted 35-40 min when I called it in, arrived ~30 min, paid & food came out near the 40 min quote. The pasta - for us the cheese on top was perhaps over toasted as it was on the dry side. Flavor was fine otherwise. Not sure I'd order this for a main dish without added protein though. The Chicken Scarp - excellent. The chicken & potatoes were very tender. The mild sausage makes this dish come together, it adds a level of savoriness to complement the balsamic sweetness in the sauce. I also like the long angled slices of sausage nicely seared on each side, it was not expected vs other versions that I've had. Meal also came with bread to soak up that chicken sauce. Also noting the place seemed packed, only 2 spots on their lot were open plus it sounded busy inside. Will try it next time onsite with one of my many fine bottles of wine. :)

Inconsistent experience - one great hero, one major disappointment…read moreWe ordered out tonight and got two small heroes: a chicken vodka parm and a meatball parm. Looking at them side-by-side, it honestly feels like two different people made these sandwiches. The chicken vodka parm was great--well-made, flavorful, and properly filled. The meatball parm, however, was completely unacceptable. The food itself didn't taste bad, but the meatball hero was practically empty, leaving us with mostly bread and sauce. If the consistency matched the quality of the chicken sandwich, this would easily be a 5-star review, but paying for a hero that is missing the actual filling is incredibly disappointing. Hoping this was just an off night for whoever was on the line.
