This is my far one of my favorite stores. I like the people here they are always so helpful and they have the best items. I come here quite often just to browse and look around and think of all the things that I may want. They have quite the extension of BDSM items and toys. I can not believe I am rating a sex shop on a public message board but the experience at Romantic Depot was very pleasing so I feel obliged. My boyfriend and I ,visited yesterday and had a fun time shopping. As you walk in Romantic Depot has lots of corsets, baby-dolls, sexy hosiery, garter belts, massage oils, scented candles, flavored lubricants and hundreds of other sexy. non adult items as you walk in. I really loved the selection of corsets and purchased a green one for St Patrick's Day, since its my boyfriends favorite day. The prices on the corsets were good and ranged from about $28 to $46. We then entered the fun area in the back with all the goodies. We purchased some Shades of Grey Toys, (They had anything you can think of) and some private stuff that I will not mention because it would not be appropriate or Politically correct on Yelp. lol What I liked most was the employees are well versed in the products and showed us how the newest, sex gadgets work, before we made our decision. I never felt rushed to choose any one item, The store was clean and very well organized and they also played really good, funky music which enhanced the vibe. I recommend Romantic Depot because it is an adult store that is judgment free zone for woman and couples and is perfect place to go to, on a date night or with your girlfriends to check out the thousands of sex toys and novelties on display.. I initially rated it 5 stars but I recently special ordered a pair of shoes and they promised e they would be ready by Friday night and they were not in, I was a little ticked off because they had my number and could have called regardless they were decent enough to take #10 off the proce for the inconvenience but hence the reduced rating. Been going there a long time. The customer service is great. Bella and Angie take an active interest in your needs and are knowledgeable on the products. I now have to travel to get there, no longer in NY but I still hold off on going local to go there. They really know their stuff. The store is well stocked and I never get bad advice. I had trouble charging one of my items and they were able to help me out over the phone. I just emailed a picture and they were able to show me where the charger went. They are very informative and knowledgable about all products which I value in retail. They also make you feel very comfortable while browsing, the music playing was great! we were pleasantly surprised with how approachable this store was. this definitely isn't a place where you will find shady men dressed in trench coats. in fact, the staff were friendly and outgoing. on the other hand, we would've preferred to not be approached by the staff while making our selections. that was a little off putting. the selection was pretty good. there was smoking paraphernalia (we don't engage), outfits, toys, games, and DVD's. we were able to find some things that we didn't know about going in. overall, we are satisfied customers and would recommend you stop by. read more
