I've used Roman Window Cleaners twice in the past with very good results. They have been expensive but did very good work. My house is 3,800 sq ft with lots of windows. I called to arrange to have my windows cleaned again this year and Sara, the office manager told me the price would be higher this year because my house was recently restained. She emailed me a proposal for $850 which I promptly signed and returned. On the day the work was scheduled, Vic arrived and promptly called my cell phone and told me "There is no way I'm cleaning your windows for less than $1,500" I reminded him that he has done my windows twice before and the house and it's windows haven't changed. I also reminded him that we were under contract. I'm so disappointed that Roman Window Cleaners would refuse to perform work they were contracted to do. In short, Roman Window Cleaners does top quality work, but I am stunned that they would attempt to upcharge me dramatically on the day they were contracted to clean my windows. read more

Roman Windows did a good job washing our home in Truckee, though their price was $100 higher than the other two window washing service we used and communications to and from their team was extremely problematic. I asked if he could wash our houses Windows, he told me that he could not fit us in until the weekend, we needed the job done immediately so we asked that he call if he got a slot. Meanwhile we booked High Sierra Window Wash (an excellent, more reasonably priced service). Though Vic did not inform us, he washed our windows, so we had overlapped two services. The windows in my home hadn't been cleaned in 2 years and they were beyond filthy, not to mention the copious amount of spider webs and dust on the screens!! I always thought cleaning my windows with windex and a towel was the most effective way to get them sparkling clean. My husband suggested we hire a professional. Vic the owner showed up and walked me through the process and I have to say I was very impressed. Each window that he did came out cleaner than I could ever make it and he even wiped the dusty ledges! After I saw what a spectacular job he did on my windows and doors I asked him if he could do my all glass shower, he got out water stains and made it shine like it was new. Incredible job by Vic and Kevin. The windows are sparkling and they were in and out in a very quick amount of time. They offered to do other small tasks that might require ladders and sadly I had nothing for I would have jumped on that offer. He cleaned the window sills, screens, and any mirrors he might have passed in the house. Roman Window Cleaning did a great job of cleaning my VERY dirty windows on my house in Truckee today. They arrived right on time and windows are now sparkling. Pointed out where I need to have some broken seals on my double pane windows fixed and gave me a referral as to whom to call. Also changed a battery in a smoke alarm that had started chirping last night--located in an area way too high for me to reach with my small ladder. Recommend this company highly. Five stars. read more
