If I could give Roma Italian Restaurant negative stars, I would. Service was a masterclass in uselessness. Asked for a drink multiple times--never got it. Told them not to charge us for it--they did anyway. Apparently they specialize in charging for imaginary items. Food? Calling it "Italian" is generous. The sauce tasted like someone rinsed a tomato and served the water. Bland, lifeless, barely edible. Honestly, you'd be better off going to Walmart, buying pasta and flavored dog food, and calling it dinner--you'd probably get more flavor and better service. 3/10. read more

Was a bit surprised when I walk in. There was no greeter. Just a dude sitting 10 feet or more away wrapping silverware and was like you here to eat? Server however was very nice and friendly. Food decent but found a hair in my sausage appetizer. Always a sign to never come back. read more

I have to say, I was dubious of the reviews because they were so well written!! Not nearly as well written, but here is mine! Adorable simple atmosphere! Red checkered table cloths! Was I in a little neighbor spot in Rome? The warm rolls were perfect! Caesar salad is usually pretty standard, but this was especially delicious! My husband ordered the raviloli with chicken and in spite of telling me he was not that hungry, he managed to clean his plate! I ordered the chicken genovise and it was spectacular. We are back to our room and going to break out the lemon chello cake and watch a movie! Well, the cake has been devoured and it was light, perfectly sweet and the lemon was not overpowering...I may go back just to see it they will part with the recipe! Had a great time! Excellent service and huge menu with lots of good options. We had a group of 12 and were served quickly and with a smile!! The restaurant was clean and tidy. We love dining at Roma's. The food is always excellent there, even the pizzas. But - received the WORST pizza delivery order, ever! Hardly any coverage of the pizza dough by the sauce, cheese or toppings. The dough was very dry and tough. What a waste of good money. read more

We dined at this nice little Italian restaurant in Ada today. It is in a shopping center, but the interior is lovely. The servers were prompt and timely throughout our visit. My husband and son both had the chicken parmesan, and they both really enjoyed it. I tried the sausage calzone, which was also really good...crispy crust and loaded with cheese. The guys both thought the caramel cheesecake was the highlight of their meal. Absolutely delicious! read more

Found this place while shopping in Ada, we ordered a small pepperoni pizza, chicken parmesan and baked ziti. Our meals were accompanied by a salad and complimentary garlic knots. The garlic knots and salad were a good start to a tasty meal! The baked ziti came out piping hot - seriously give it a couple of minutes! The flavor was great and it was presented well. The pepperoni pizza was pretty standard, didn't knock my socks off but I'd order pizza from here again. Service was fantastic, our server was knowledgeable and very personable. Delicious little Italian restaurant! We've visited the one closer to home in Seminole, and this location is just as good! Chicken fettuccine is the best ever! Calzone and pasta sampler were all just perfect. Oh and their dinner rolls! Yum yum! We don't drink alcohol with dinner, so their no liquor thing is not a big deal to us! Totally worth it. read more

Amazing Italian food! We currently live in the DFW metroplex and ate at Roma while visiting friends in Ada. We already look forward to visiting and eating here again, as this restaurant rivals some of our favorite Italian restaurants in DFW. The bread was served warm and fresh - packed with flavor. We ordered their house sauce to dip it in and it was well worth it. The server (Judah) was attentive, friendly and knowledgeable. We ordered based on several of his recommendations and they were all great. We ordered a variety of items and everything was tasty - no complaints. When you walk through the doors, the restaurant is welcoming and clean. We were too busy enjoying the food to take pictures. Give it a try - your taste buds will thank you :) read more

They cancelled my take out order with out even telling me then had a major attitude when I went to pick it up! No wine.... never been to an Italian restaurant that didn't serve wine. Salad had tons of onions and a mushy tomato (one small slice) chicken piccata had 10 times the amount of capers and garlic that it should have. You'd find better food in the frozen food aisles of the grocery store. read more

First time to eat at Roma's in Ada. First to start, you must order the spinach dip for your bread, absolutely delicious. I ordered the sausage pizzaols my wife ordered the Calizone. You better bring a appetite when you eat here. Portions are amazing for the price, service is wonderful, atmosphere is great. Everything started out fine until I put the fork in my mouth while eating my salad and felt something rough on the bottom of my fork... dried on cheese and pasta! The fork was so very, very dirty! I almost threw up!!! Asked for the manager. He apologized, took the fork and offered a new salad... Uhhh how about a staph, herpe or meningitis test on the side?!? I didn't finish the salad. The service was great! You have to get the spinach dip for the bread. Holy moly. That is actually all I needed, but of course I didn't stop there. This was our first time dining at Roma's so the hubs and I got the sampler and the combo platter. The food was good, if you love cheese. It was almost like a plate of cheese mush for both of us. Don't get me wrong, the mush tasted great, but there was so much cheese we couldn't tell what we were eating. The ravioli, manicotti and lasagna all tasted the same...cheesy mush. Roma's is new to Ada. It has been open for a couple of months now. When we arrived we saw two host polishing silverware at the host stand. Given the layout of the restaurant the host stand is in the middle of the dining areas. They gals were polite and seated us in a booth close to the host stand. While we waited for our server to arrive we quickly noticed that you can hear the noice from the host polishing silverware. This was very distracting and created an annoying ambiance. Our server was mechanically solid but lacked personality. We ordered the Spinach Dip and the Fettuccini Chicken Alfredo. Buttered and Parmesan seasoned rolled were brought after the order was put in which tasted nice. The Spinach Dip is different than what we have had from many other restaurants. More of a soup style than a dip style. It didn't come with chips or toast so we dipped the complementary bread. The dip tasted nice as well and it was filling. I would definitely recommend trying it. Shortly after receiving our appetizer our entrees arrived. The fettuccini and sauce tasted great. The chicken was underwhelming in flavor. Overall, a nice and filling entree. We paid $38 before tip. A little over priced for the experience when you can get just as good food or better from a 2 for $20ish menu at most restaurants in town. Service: 3/5. Not bad. Not great. Food: 3/5. Pasta is better than fast food but about what you would expect from casual dining such as Sante Fe or Applebee's. Ambiance: 1/5. Move the silverware polishing to an area where guest will not have to hear the clanging of the utensils. Price: 2/5. Pasta is cheap. Overpriced for the area. when it first opened, the salads were literally lettuce with a slice of tomato and ranch. I never got my drinks and we were standing in the middle of the place because the waiter that made us follow them left us in the middle of the room. However, I gave it another try and it was ten times better in service and food! Only complaint now would be the rolls are so gross. Tastes like cafeteria rolls from public schools. read more
