As a AAA member for over 20+ years I called them to have one brought and installed on site at my home. The company AAA sent out screwed things up really bad (Please see my review for Hope towing in San Bernardino to find out how I found Ryan.) I was desperate to get my car up and running that I just started calling random mobile mechanics I found on Yelp. Luckily the only one to call back was Ryan. I explained to him what happened and he came out that same evening, after attending a previous client. He assessed the car and gave me an honest answer. I paid him his assessment fee and figured I'd call AAA back to make things right and 5 days later and no solution and I'm still without a working vehicle. I text Ryan once again and tell him how AAA was giving me the runaround and how my car was still not fixed. He advised me on a few solutions and I decided to just purchase a battery elsewhere and have Ryan install it. This way once installed if any other issues arose Ryan would be able to give me a real-time solution and pricing. Not only did he install the battery. He went above and beyond with small details that not everyone would do. He checked the voltage and gauges. He told me the car was up and running with no major issues. He did discover a water pump leak and gave me an estimate then and there. He didn't try and price gouge me or lie and say I needed a new alternator. He's an honest guy, who works hard, and is just looking to make an honest buck. Next time you need good work at reasonable prices hit up Ryan.

They're very busy. The girl in the office was so nice and honest and said "thanks for trusting us!" Which really rubbed me the right way. They even shared that our front brakes have 40% left. They accept Zelle, cash or card (4% fee). Dropped off at 830 got my car back at 12, but they were done at 10:11. They even text and send you the paperwork by text. Def recommend and will be back. They're in a row of shops. Off the street you turn in where Dash is. There isn't much parking so anticipate that when you go.

This is my first time EVER reviewing an auto repair shop, however it is beyond well deserved…read more Ladies, if you are sick and tired of having to take a husband, boyfriend, brother, or male friend along to get an estimate for repair, then this is the auto shop for you. My best friend sent me to get my transmission flushed here, after her great experience. She told me he was honest, polite, had great prices, and fantastic customer service. He was all of that and more. The first thing I noticed about his shop, was how clean and organized he kept it. That actually sold me because I think an ordered shop, equals an ordered mind. My office is about 3 miles from his shop and he offered car service to pick me up once my car was ready. That was very helpful and I appreciated the extra service. I have a vintage Mercedes that I plan to drive until the wheels fall off. If you have an older car, you know how hard it is to find parts. Roy is resourceful and has many resources to find parts for older cars. He has fixed/replaced my heat, A/C, transmission, catalytic converter and a few odds and ends. Each service was reasonably priced and certainly less than other quotes I received from mechanics that see a woman customer, as an endless ATM machine. I am very happy I found Colima Transmission. I finally gave up and threw in the towel and decided to take it in. I dropped my vehicle off Tuesday afternoon, they got on it Wednesday and by Wednesday afternoon they found the problem. They were even kind enough to work with me and held it until Saturday I did like the fact that when I mentioned that I only needed to know what' the issue was they weren't pushy or insisting they fix the problem, they were even kind enough to tell me what part number and brand I should purchase, and why I shouldn't use anything else.
