I really wanted to leave a positive review, but unfortunately, my experience with Rolling Roadies was incredibly disappointing.
Two women came out to plug my tire, and while one appeared to be training the other, which was totally fine; the job itself was not done properly. They struggled to remove the tire and resorted to using a mash hammer on the lug nuts. As a result, one of my lug nuts ended up missing after I arrived home. While the women were working on the tire, there was also a man present, who I assume was the owner, since his face appeared to be on the company logo and he was the one who discussed payment with me.
They plugged the tire and checked it using water, then assured me everything was fine. However, less than half a mile later, my tire pressure light came back on. I called and was told it should reset in a few miles. It didn't.
The next day, I followed up to let them know my tire pressure was reading at 30 PSI, and they agreed to come check it out. This time, two men arrived. One with a blunt in his mouth and immediately gave off an unprofessional vibe. They seemed unsure of how to proceed and fumbled with their tools. My father was present and pointed out that the pressure had dropped since I had last checked, suggesting there may still be a leak. Instead of using proper equipment, one of the men initially tried to check the tire by placing his hand over it. When my dad offered soapy water to help identify the leak, the man declined, only to later ask for some after retrieving a water bottle from his car.
At this point, my dad began questioning the situation, pointing out that the repair should have been handled correctly the first time. The technician told him I had only paid for a plug, not a full repair. Which was shocking because I assumed the plug was a fix. The conversation got tense, and rather than resolving the issue, they got defensive, said they didn't need the "negative energy," and drove off; leaving the tire issue unresolved.
Later, I received a call informing me I was blacklisted from future service because of my dad's attitude. Honestly, I had been nothing but polite and patient, even giving them a chance to make it right. The owner even told me I was a sweet lady and said he was willing to fix it for me, right before they drove off. So while I appreciate the words, I still have a tire issue. So... yeah.
To top it off, they showed up in a car with no tags, which added to the overall sketchy vibe.
Do yourself a favor: avoid Rolling Roadies. I ended up having to rely on my dad to finish the $60 job that should have been done right the first time. There are better, more reliable, and more professional services out there.
Honestly, I'm only giving two stars because they were at least willing to come check the tire again, and seriously, an all-woman work team? I was so ready to support that. I wanted this to be a good experience. But it just wasn't. read more
