Even phone records if they would like. I called on Wednesday, July 10, 2024. There was no answer and I left a voicemail. Never heard back from them so I called again on Wednesday, July 17, 2024. I started to leave another voicemail and my voicemail was randomly disconnected in the middle, which was weird (also a feature many networks let you do if you preview the voicemail and decide not to proceed). So I sent a text and he called me back immediately. This part felt better honestly, finally able to talk to someone. I sent him my name and address via text, he will send me date and time options for scheduling. Later a few days later, the team texted me saying they would like pictures instead. This is Friday, July 19, 2024 per the text timestamps (can be provided for verification if needed to Yelp or anyone else). He requested pictures and was obviously not scheduling an appointment. I was not able to take the pictures immediately the same day. They were sent over approx one week later on July 27th as I had a personal emergency to prioritize. Instead of a poor quality pictures, I decided to take my time, do a detailed walk through and take two videos. I even took the time to zip it up for him and upload it to dropbox (public easy to download link, industry used for over 10+ years and intuitive). They responded by telling me that: "Your videos are not viewable. I don't believe I will be the best contractor for you. The major delay of response is not a good first sign for communication for me. Also I am not available to look at your project this week. Let alone start till mid October. I wish you the best and hope your project goes well." This is laughable, they were hard enough to get ahold of the first time, they never came out to give an estimate as agreed in first phone call and then they give me an attitude when I go out of my way to give them a detailed video instead of crappy pictures. Obviously I am proceeding with someone else, but this was a weirdly disappointing experience. This business is blacklisted and blocked in my books and they are not welcome to bid of any of my work, ever. I find it weird they have so many other 5 star reviews that contradict the experience I had so I am exercising my first amendment right to share what happened with me. P.S. I can tell team is not tech savvy with the basics when they request info from you, i.e., you cannot play a video inside a zip file, you have to unzip first.

We appreciated their prompt response with communication. They were open to discussing different ideas and questions for the project. However, this type of project seems to be something they do frequently, which is good. We needed a permit from the city. This slows things down. However, it didn't take too much time to finish the project. I appreciate how they integrated the existing roof line into the new roof. You can't tell it was even there. They did subcontract the roof and gutters. But that's not their specialty, which is okay. They stated they could have done the roof if needed. In all they did an excellent job.

Buerger Brothers Construction built an addition to our home, which included a 700+ square foot garage, using concrete poured on Piers and a floor poured as a "Slab on void" due to bad soils report. They also built a new deck, and managed front yard landscaping. They are an honest, ethical, professional, and an excellent company to do business with. We started planning in May of 2019, with construction from June through October of 2020, we found ways to work during the early days of the Covid pandemic. Communicating with Christian was a breeze, he was easy to talk to, responsive, professional and truly cares about what you are conveying. Because I am a retired engineer I had to stick my nose into everything... From the beginning he brought in professionals from the Architect, Structural Engineers to the finishing Carpenter and Painter, each step was amazing and all within budget. The cadre of subcontractors hired by Burger Brothers had to meet a high standard of professionalism and produce a high quality product, they were all wonderful to work with. Of note, was the daily cleanup, the care taken and the security to the existing area, especially working in the midst of a pandemic! Inconvenience was kept to a minimum and in the end we can actually say the complete project went quite smoothly and was a great experience. Would I hire them to do it again? Absolutely "In a heartbeat, no doubt about it!" I just cannot brag enough about this company and I promise you will not regret your decision to hire Christian and his crew! I could go on and on, but you get the gist.... if you want honesty and professionalism, these are your guys! Without hesitation I would recommend them and would hire them again to do any construction project.

We appreciate the crew's attention to detail and their diligence in getting it done. We had…read morecompleted a beautiful high end kitchen remodel and the crowning jewel was to be the metal and glass cabinet doors that our architect had drawn in. However, the company she had used in the past wouldn't call me back. I found MetalArc using Google. And I'm beyond happy I did. First, their commitment to their craft is top notch. They will work diligently to get the project right. The level of refinement that we were looking for with these doors was not a hurdle they shied away from but rather they accepted the challenge and worked side by side with me to get it exactly right. The finished product is stunning, we couldn't be happier. Second, David's level of communication is a rarity. He is such a well spoken, clear and eloquent communicator. It is a lost art in today's day and age. I was impressed time and time again with his clarity and thoughtfulness in every conversation and email. This was truly a "project" that required communication and collaboration and he impressed me time and time again. Third, he is a good man whose primary goal was not only meeting but exceeding expectations. On top of being an expert in his craft, he has mastered being a good person. I can't say enough good things about him (and his brother, Joseph!). Thank you we will continue to sing your praises.

I want to be fair from the…read moreoutset -- the shelves do look good now -- but getting to that outcome was far more stressful and frustrating than it should have been for a custom fabrication project. There were multiple measurement errors throughout the process. They mismeasured twice and had to come back to redo work, which felt sloppy and avoidable given the scope and cost of custom metalwork. More concerning were the alignment issues: the shelving did not align cleanly with the wall or even with itself. Metal Arc did not take accountability for these issues, and I was genuinely surprised that they considered this an acceptable finished deliverable. Because this was never properly resolved by Metal Arc, we ultimately had our painter use black tape to visually hide the gaps. That solution felt lazy and disappointing, and not something I expected to need after paying for custom work. Scheduling also added to the frustration. They were extremely evasive about confirming an installation date, which made it difficult to coordinate other contractors and keep our overall project on track. Communication throughout was another challenge. David was often long-winded and repetitive, which caused simple issues to drag on unnecessarily. He was also surprisingly aggressive about me not being present for a walkthrough, despite my husband being there, checking in multiple times, and being told by David's brother that he was "just there for measurements." I do believe they want to do good work, but they lack business professionalism, clear communication, and accountability. That combination created a lot of stress and uncertainty about whether we were actually going to reach a finished result. In the end, aside from the taped workaround, I'm happy with how the shelves look -- but the process was exhausting enough that I would proceed very cautiously or look elsewhere next time.

I paid $425 for "Winterize - Water/Drains/Appliances," which included labor and antifreeze, as reflected on the invoice. The business publicly advertises services as a General Contractor and Home Builder, and I relied on those representations when hiring him, it's my second home and I informed him I was hiring him to do a full weatherization as I was told I needed to do if I wasn't returning for a long extended time . Eric Wiltse assured me he does this weatherization procedure a lot and has many clients who also own mountain home properties to assure me and gain my trust . Prior to the work, Mr. Wiltse texted to confirm that he was in his way to the property to winterize the home at 205 Hazelwood Drive, Nederland, CO. After receiving access confirmation. He later sent text that the work was finished and that he was on his way home. I relied on this text confirmations that the winterization had been completed and everything went well. When I returned to the home last month , I entered the home, I discovered there was no heat, no hot water, and no running water. , my cousin called a emergency # that comes out in the evenings . House had electricity.. no heat or hot water and I was informed by the technician it's not something they can do on this service call. It's serious damage . I called another company who would come to Nederland the next day for help to find out why there's no heat or water. Contractor arrived to inspect and diagnose the issue and determined that the winterization had been performed improperly. Pipes froze and burst throughout the home, and the boiler system was damaged and rendered inoperable . I showed them the detailed bill from Eric Weltse and they pointed out they the bill shows why everything happened . The contractor didn't do a full correct weatherization. Confirmed with the details in that bill. I trusted him to do the right thing It's nothing less than catastrophic damage and the house is not livable with no heat or hot water. I have now received professional repair estimates totaling $31,965, including extensive repiping, water heater replacement, and a boiler system replacement alone is approximately $15,000 This damage was not routine wear and tear. It has been identified as the result of improper winterization work. The scope and cost of the damage far exceed anything disclosed or reasonably anticipated. I have written communications (text messages) from Mr. Wiltse confirming travel to the property, performance of the winterization, and completion of the work. These communications are being preserved as evidence. Due to the extent of the damage and financial harm, I am in the process of filing a civil lawsuit in Colorado court within the next two weeks to recover damages related to this matter. I am sharing this experience publicly to warn others. Winterization in mountain conditions is critical, and improper work can cause catastrophic damage. Anyone considering this company should independently verify licensing, scope of work, and accountability before hiring. 12/15/2025 This is an itemized list a Licensed Contractor sent me what a legitimate Weatherization bill should look like . Not a bill that Eric Wiltse provided correct, itemized winterization invoice looks like (Boiler-heated, vacant mountain home) A legitimate winterization bill would separately itemize each system addressed. Boiler work is always listed as "Boiler" or "Hydronic Heating System" -- never buried under "appliances." Why the boiler is primary * In a boiler-heated home, the boiler is the heat source and often also feeds domestic hot water (directly or via an indirect tank). * If the boiler isn't protected, you lose heat first, which then causes: * freeze damage to plumbing * failure of hot water delivery * That makes the boiler omission the root cause. 12/15/2025 Added a very important Example of a proper invoice, compared to the invoice Eric Wiltse provided to me Is Attached in the images Please read
