My 4 year old daughter had a great time and she did extremely well for her first take at skating. Everything went smoothly. I did overhear that there was a fight. I asked one of the cashiers when purchasing an Icee and she confirmed there was one and pointed to the area. At that time, I recalled seeing a group on the floor but I thought it was from them falling while skating. I've must've caught the very end of it. She stated the police were called and they left before their arrival. The next thing was while waiting to go back on the floor and watching the experienced skaters skate, a female very upset began swearing at another unknown group saying "she got me f**ked up". Another patron also watching stated "Friday night". Yes, it was a Friday night! With that said I would definitely return but during the morning and/or afternoon sessions. read more

My 8 year old child did not appreciate the laser tag set up as it was very unclear who was aiming at what target due to the laser lights being the same color. They also wished the rink had skate walkers available for beginning skaters. Pizza was mediocre. Birthday party organization was poorly run. read more

Super family and teen friendly in a way most spaces aren't. Staff are kind and helpful and honestly quite a few seem like they're having fun at work which is so nice to see. Quite possibly the most in depth security at an event I've been to ever in my life (as an adult without children) so empty your pockets before you walk in the door! We came for the kids New Years Eve party. It was fun and wasn't overly crowded until we were leaving at 3:30 which was nice. They had out some fun things to celebrate and did a top 100 song countdown. I was very shocked by some of the songs they played and the lyrics knowing that it was a family friendly event and there were a lot of little kids. The rink itself is fine but seems a bit confusing that the less skilled kids and helpers have to get across the skilled skaters to the middle of the rink instead of letting them go around the outside wall. The other thing I wish they had were those walker type helpers. The place was very cleaned and their little concession area is very reasonably priced. read more

Cody was an amazing guy and he helped me out so many times. Cody was incredibly helpful and made a big difference in my life. Whenever I needed support, he was always there, whether it was with school, sports, or just someone to talk to. He never hesitated to lend a hand, explain something I didn't understand, or cheer me up when I was feeling down. His patience, kindness, and dedication meant a lot to me, and I'm really grateful for everything he did. My friend and I had a lovely time; I would recommend an adult night with the caveat that if you are new to roller skating, you will spend most of your time in the center, and it can be a little daunting. There are lights flashing constantly which makes focussing really hard, along with the fact that the speakers are turned up to 400% is not helpful. Overall really bad experience, do not go here unless you want to go deaf. read more

Had a blast here today to celebrate my son's birthday. The Sunday hours are perfect (1 - 5pm). We did the family pack, so we brought a couple friends -- 2 adults, 4 kids, plus a pizza and a pitcher of soda = $51. That was so great. We got a couple more pitchers of soda, a couple bowls of popcorn, fried dough, and cookies by the time we left. The food is OK, not delicious, but it's a rollerskating rink!, and the prices are reasonable. The skating was super-fun. You can rent rollerblades or roller skates. The staff were knowledgeable and helped the kids find the right sizes. You trade in your shoes for the skates - so convenient. Every hour there's something fun -- a game, hokey pokey, races, speed skating, etc. It was a good chance for the kids to sit and take a break and watch some other people skate. . . or to join in. We also did the arcade and laser tag. For the arcade, you need cash because all the games take quarters. There's a change machine, but it only takes cash, not cards. I was glad I had a $20 stowed away. You can pay for everything else at this rink with a card though. Laser tag was fun, and then the kids got tickets for how they did -- so they loved that. Traded them in for Airheads and hillbilly teeth -- what could be better? And they said they weren't shooting each other so much, but rather targets on the walls and stuff. . . I like that better. It's less violent. Also, the staff and manager were very nice and this was a very clean, very well-run, organized, wonderful place. We will definitely return as my kids now absolutely love roller skating. read more

How have I been missing this all my adult life? Last night was a throwback to the 1980's and my childhood roller skating days. This place is a total time warp. Yes the building exterior and interior is quite dated, but this only contributes to its character and charm. I was amazed by the strobe lights, neon colors, wildly patterned carpeting, upbeat music, and the vintage arcade. I rollerblade in my spare time so I'm used to being on skates. It can be a little difficult for some their first time on wheels, but with a little practice you will be skating like a pro in no time. There were a variety of skill levels last night from rookies gracefully face-planting to some professional level skaters showing off their skills out on the floor. This is people-watching at its best, but I mean this in the sincerest way as I was pretty impressed with some of the skaters. Upon arriving you surrender your shoes for a pair of skates and are offered your choice of traditional or inline. Feel free to bring your own skates instead of renting. I went old school with the traditional four wheelers. The music is the best with a variety of 80's pop, dance, and hair metal. They even slowed it down for a "couples skate" to an Air Supply classic. We visted on "Adult Night" and this was ideal as we prefer to skate without having to dodge children. The crowd consisted of varied age groups ranging from 20- 60+ and I was pleased that the rink was not super busy. Not sure if it's the usual Saturday night turnout, but it was nice to have plenty of room out on the floor. Adult skate night runs from 7-10pm and tickets can be purchased ahead of time online at a discounted rate. I am not sure how often this event is offered. Schedules are available on the rink's website. During a little skating break, I fed all my quarters to the Skee-Ball machines and cashed in my tickets for a rubber, glow-in-the-dark chicken to complete my night. A snack bar is available offering pizza, hot dogs, soft drinks, and more. Lazer Tag and karaoke events are on the schedule as well. So much fun under one roof. I have gone to Roller Kingdom since I was a child, and now I take my own children here. I remember as a kid waiting anxiously to go to Roller Kingdom for the school fundraiser. It was always so much fun. Now many years later, it's still the same! Right down to the races, the Hokey Pokey dance and the Pizza, which my kids and I like a lot! Both my kids learned to rollerblade when they where only 3 years old! I taught them here when we'd come have a family day out. I think because they started rollerblading so young, it helped them big time with the skiing! The staff is awesome, when someone takes a tumble, they go to them and make sure no other people fall or trip around them. During the winter months, if we don't ski, we rollerblade! Love this place! One time a few years ago I was rollerblading and I fell on my wrist which caused me much pain. I was sobbing on the ground as my friends called over a worker to come and help me. The worker glanced at me and then walked away. Terrible service. But I had delicious food there that was a delight to the taste buds. So 3 stars! read more

Great place for the family. I had a Groupon that had expired and they allowed me to use it for food and other stuff not covered. My daughter didnt have enough tickets for the item she wanted. They just gave it to her. My other daughter 4 years old finally at the end of the day was skating without holding the wall or a hand. After everyone cleared the rink from last skate, they let her take her time to make it around all the way around. On top of all that the food prices are not outrageous. read more

I used Roller Kingdom as my venue for a private party. It was a Retro Rollerskating Surprise 40th birthday. Two thumbs waaay up for this venue. We brought in our own food and beverages, they provided everything else. They were very easy to work with when setting up the whole thing and the day of were great. The setting was awesome because all the older adults haven't been to a roller rink since they were 12 and so it was nostalgic while the kids loved the Rollerskating and lights and music. We did our own custom playlist, they provided us with all the equipment and staff we needed. I would recommend this venue for a fun casual Party or event. This is a great place for kids and birthday parties. Plenty to do with the roller skating and mini arcade and the snack bar, which has decent options and is reasonably priced. The karaoke competition is a cute touch. We have been here for a few events and birthday parties. My only gripe about this place is the hours of operation. They don't have much in the way of summer weekend hours.... and during the week they are open when my kids are in school... doesn't leave many options to come here. My children and their friends really enjoyed going to Roller Kingdom. The staff and most especially the owner are friendly and extremely accommodating. The pizza was very good as well. The rink itself is a classic that I remembered in the 80's when I used to skate. The music isn't too loud and they have fun activities throughout the afternoon. The facility is very well maintained. They also offer karaoke at no cost and laser tag games for a small fee. I would give them five stars, but they are only open for four hours on Saturday and Sunday and so they lose a star because the fun ends all too soon! I highly recommend Roller Kingdom. read more

Another three star review. Would give 3.5 if I could. I went there for an overnight at my camp. They rented the whole place for two hours (?). It was my first time roller skating, so I got blades because I thought it would be more like ice skating. I was right. I got used to it quickly. This would have been four stars except for the fact that I requested a song at the very start, and it was never played. By the end there were only two songs on the requested list, and neither was played. How do you not play requested songs when there is only one group there? After reading the other reviews, I think they just take requests and don't play any. Overall, had fun roller blading. I'm not at all experienced with this, but I'll bet you there are other, better, places out there. read more

The people here are extremely rude, when me and my friend first walked in we weren't greeted very nicely. Then when me and my friend were skating I fell and everyone was supposed to get off the of the skating area for the people who were really good at skating, and when I fell I couldn't get up and the guy working there started yelling at me to get up and started swearing as well and I felt extremely disrespected. Then, my friend got her states messed up and she needed to get a new pair. While we were asking for one, the lady had the worst attitude and was yelling at us saying that there was nothing wrong with her skates. Awful! Dirty, sticky and management falsely advertises. Music is loud you have to plug your ears. Pizza is like eating cardboard.

When we arrived, we couldn't skate because they announced they were doing races. First, the races were in ages, then genders, then adults. Finally, we were able to skate, but after an hour we had to clear the floor for another set of skating consisting of gender first, then adults, then it led to a series of speed skating. These constant interruptions made it very aggravating for the kids. Also, while these breaks were occurring we sat at a table to eat pizza, but upon my last bite of pizza I was abruptly asked to leave from the table, so other people could eat. Adjustments need to be made at this facility for it to be an enjoyable place and geared towards children as far as skating. The time delays in skating are ridiculous! And being asked to get up from a table when you're not even finished your meal is rude. read more

Amazing place, but weird hours. I love this place, it is a noice place to go, considering that roller rinks are endangered, because no one really goes to them anymore. This place is a great place for the weekends, and that's literally it, they are not opened during the week, and that makes sense, because the kids are at school, and the adults are at work. 10 stars in my opinion read more
