They seem to have issues with scheduling, mine was changed several times and a lack of response…read morefrom them when I was trying to clarify. They also seem to be focused on fillings and crowns but not less expensive care like extractions. The DDS also doesn't seem like he has the time to listen to his patients, at least according to my wife, his agenda only. When my wife asked a question to staff about a referral for a root canal she was told we use them all the time, they all hang out together and do stuff together Seems cozy to me I will be canceling my next appointment and never using them again

I was quoted one price for dental work, even had a written quote. After the dental work was…read morecompleted my bill had doubled. When I said that I could not afford that bill, that it was twice as much as the original quote Forum Dental Staff was more than happy and accommodating in assisting me to open a Care Credit account. As I now had a care credit account open, and means to pay for dental care, some weeks later I had an appointment with Dr. Crouppen. I had heard that he seemed to be an adequate dentist but that he didn't present very well. And boy they weren't lying. Dr Crouppen appeared dishelved, sloppy , stained smock, greasy hair. Wasn't sure how I felt about receiving his care. Praying in earnest to my God that Crouppen had washed his hands and wore gloves. Luckily for me, the dental technician did all the real work and heavy lifting and my interactions with Crouppen were brief albeit memorable. And at the end of that appointment Forum Dental was more than happy to charge another $500 to my care credit account. Fast forward several weeks later and Forum Dental is offering a free dental day in which the offer some free services to people with no dental insurance to include 1.) Free teeth cleaning 2.) Free tooth extraction 3.) Free filing. I haven't had a teeth cleaning in a while, and could have used another filling. Luck of the draw Crouppen was up. But wasn't his jolly old self. I wondered if the fact that it was the free dental clinic had him bent out of shape or was it something else. Couldn't quite put my finger in it. Needless to say same, mouth, same teeth different payor source. That day was their free clinic that the advertise and explain how they give back to the community. That particular day they were not going to get to add my dental charges to my Care Credit account. That particular day after another very brief encounter with Crouppen, in which he was both rude and unprofessional, ended with Crouppen telling me that there was absolutely NOTHING HE COULD DO FOR ME, AFTER HAVING TOLD ME THAT THE DENTAL WORK I NEEDED WOULD COST AS MUCH AS A BRAND NEW CAR , AND WELL I JUST DIDN'T HAVE THAT KIND OF FUNDING ON MY CARE CREDIT ACCOUNT. After Forum Dental had called me multiple times that day switching my appointment time. It was clear and as different as night and day in the respect, concern, care and treatment that I received as long as my credit card was being billed compared to the day I was to receive the free dental care that they advertise that the do to give back to the community. I was floored with how disrespectful and rude Crouppen and the technician were at my last and final visit to Forum Dental. I would strongly encourage and recommend that you look for another dental clinic that puts the patient 's care and treatment ahead of their business profits.

Went to Matthew Connell for a new denture. He produced all porcelain which I didn't ask for and…read morethen shaved my natural teeth off on the bottom to adjust the denture to fit my mouth which I should never have agreed to!! I didn't know the consequences-he didn't disclose that to me. Now I have one side of my mouth drooping down because denture is crooked. It's too short on the left side and the denture is absolutely destroying my mouth! It hurts so bad I'm going to have to go somewhere and have another one done and I don't have the funds to do it because my insurance only pays once every 5 years. He destroyed my other denture my old one that I walked in with when he shaved my natural teeth. So now I can't wear it! please save yourself some heartache and grief and don't ever walk through their doors! It's a family business too so it doesn't do any good to try to fight for your rights. Because basically they don't care. They have the upper hand!!. I bite my tongue when I'm chewing because the occlusion is off!! I wish to God I'd never put my faith & confidence in this guy!!!

I filled out their "I'd like an appointment" form and simply got a response to call the office. I…read moredid that and made an appointment. I explained I have another dentist in KC and asked them to confirm what services would be covered by insurance - that was three or four weeks before my appointment. When I got there they hadn't even recorded that I had insurance. I said (again) that I only wanted the services that would be covered by my insurance. She hadn't looked it up so she blew me off. When I went in they took bitewings and then wanted to take a pano. I mentioned AGAIN that I needed them to confirm that was covered. She said OK and did it anyway. I guess I should have refused, but I thought I might be wrong on my coverage. Dentist saw me and asked for a single tooth xray - I've never had that before and asked AGAIN it that was covered, no real response and they took it anyway. They showed me something I have known about for a long time. They then gave me an estimate for what they think I should do and it was a bit crazy since I mentioned I wasn't planning to do it. At the very beginning I had offered to pull records from my regular KC dentist and they said 'that isn't needed'. Guess what? None of that extra was covered. I was told to call when the bill came and they 'might' write it off. Just got off the phone and they did NOT write it off. Basically stating that I should have known my insurance rules and it's not their job to know that for me. Really??? So, I'm paying a bill for something I begged them to check or not do. Won't go back.
