Dr, Nicole Edward's, the nurse, and receptionist were all amazing. I apologize that I didn't get…read moreall their names. Dr. Edward actually listened to me and took care my medical concerns with compassion, something that is lacking in this industry as of late. She was forward thinking and made sure that my problem would be fully handled until its conclusion. She didn't just give me "BandAid Care" and get me out of there like most doctor's offices do these days. I was not expecting the level of care I received, especially since express or urgent care facilities are known for volume and not necessarily quality. I was having a terrible experience that day with my normal provider's office and by the time I left this Express Care office I was smiling. They were just absolutely terrific! I will 100% go back in the future when I have trouble getting into see my GP. If Dr. Edward's and staff were a GP I would switch over to them in a heartbeat! Thank you for your care!

Went to Camdenton @ 4:30 saying not taking new patients We are closing early! Called Eldon while driving there after the other two places failed! Asked Eldon if X-rays were available and was told yes and open till 7:00. Arrived @ 5:00. Went back in room 6:05 and was told by provider "Sorry, the X-ray tech leaves at 6:00!" Was told go to hospital ER for ultrasound! What an absolute waste of time at all three of Your facilities!! Eldon should have said or realized when I called receptionist and checked into to at least inform me of the X-ray time issue! Two facilities unavailable and one that is open not offering X-rays? I paid for what exactly? I know I had a Hematoma! Do better Lake Regional! Urgent Care should be far from your name as this place is good for treating a cough at best!!

We have had nothing but very positive experiences with this location for minor healthcare needs…read morethat couldn't wait until our doctor's office or pediatrician was open or available to see us. Examples of reasons we've gone here are strep throat, ear infections, swimmers ear, and sinus infection. We were properly diagnosed, we were seen at the time we expected (not a long wait if we walked in, seen within 5 minutes of appt time if we made an appt prior to coming in), ans it was very convenient to be able to pick up our prescriptions right there. Definitely recommend! I have gone to another chain pharmacy that offers medical visits and have never received this level of care. (The other location even sent me home after missing a pneumonia diagnosis & telling me I just needed to "let the cold run it's course." The other pharmacy has also mixed up prescriptions that would've killed or harmed our unborn child. Thankfully, we caught it ourselves at home.

Avoid this place at all costs, especially if you got hurt at work. The first time I went in was…read moresuch a pleasant experience, had a nurse practitioner of some sort named Lori, there are 2, one is really nice, other one has no business being in any service industry. I had a big metal door at work slam shut on my shoulder, caused a lot of pain. Went to there not knowing they closed at 8, was 7:20. I felt bad because of the lateness but when this grinch came around the corner and started in with, "why are you here?," "we don't do worker's comp after 6", " I am going to make sure your work knows what time you got here" then the crazy part I had to see her for my injury. The bed side manner just escalated from there. Told what happened and was told the only reason my shoulder hurts is because I was slouching. Sure it was. there was a lot of other things that happened, and since this is being typed one armed, I can't go into that much detail. Then today I saw a peach of a dr. dr car, no clue if spelled right, but that is about as much care as he took with me. his entire premise is that, "well it is getting worse and not better and being slammed by a door is just a minor injury and therefore since we have no clue we will just release you." have to keep that money rolling in from the worker's comp company so who cares about what is really happening with the pateint.

My husband and I have been treated at Phelps since 1965. We have had several hospitalizations,…read moresurgeries and outpatient services. I read a review that stated this was a terrible place; I firmly disagree. We have always been treated with caring, concern and have never had anyone fail to take great care of us. They ARE willing, professional and at the same time, friendly. They are also well-trained and happy to go the additional mile for any patient. As a result of heart problems and a stroke, my husband has many, many doctor appointments and is always listened to and the staff does all they can to address his concerns. I give this facility a 10 on a 1-10 scale and am very glad that I live in this area and don't have to go to St. Louis, Columbia or Springfield for care. Thank you so much to every staff member for everything they do for their patients.

That is a dangerous situation considering they are dealing with people with medical problems.
