I got to the counter to order my did and found that all the posters with images of food options were gone. So, instead I saw paper menus with mostly letters... I told them that I don't know their food by name, and they told me to look it up in the website... so I had to lose my place in line to open a website :( Then the website shows no menu, and I mentioned it... but nobody offered to help me, they got busy helping the people that came AFTER me instead. The only option apparent in the website was to start a pickup order, then you could see the food items available.... but I discovered this on my own when I had already left the place in disgust. This is kind of like the Subway of sushi. Coincidence it's located next to a Subway restaurant? I think not. You go in and file in line. There's sandwich makes, er I mean, sushi chefs behind the counter. There's a lot of premade stuff laying out like at the grocery store if you're in a hurry. If you want a specialty roll or anything not premade, expect to wait about 10 minutes. There's a good amount of seating, probably about 20 tables, but it feels a lot like McDonald's to me for some reason. Not a place to take a date, if that makes sense. There's some cheap stuff in the menu - you could definitely walk out spending $10 or less if you wanted to. But the better stuff will cost you, of course. For a couple rolls or some of the nicer fish, expect to spend $15 for lunch. You order and either take out or take your meal to your table, so don't expect waiters or friendly chit chat. The experience is no better than Subway, I tell you! In terms of quality, nothing I ate made me raise my eyebrows and go "Oh my gerd, this fish tastes AMAZING." However it won't make you sick or spit it out - I hope. What I'm getting at is you get what you pay for with sushi. It's a take out place, not a fine sushi restaurant. It's not disgusting, but it's really not above what you'd get at Ralph's or Whole Foods. Oh lord.... despite the fact that we are in the midst of a pandemic, you would imagine the food quality to be elevated given not much attention needs to be given to customer service since it's mainly a pick up and go style. At first glance, the restaurant appears like a quick n go fast food sushi restaurant (I was craving authentic sushi so definitely my fault for selecting this base based on initial appearances on yelp). The service was ok, I was not really judging the service. When we got home to enjoy our dinner, we were pleasantly surprised with cold sushi (we requested a few baked rolls).
