Still giving 2 stars since I think it's a good location for recreation, hunting, fishing, etc. and the RV spots won't share this issue.

Great little reservoir that they stock with trout every year. The cabins are OK they haven't been maintained that well. It's more about the experience and spending time with my boys and my dad. If you're looking for something fancy this is not the place for you. It's definitely a fisherman's paradise. The prices are very reasonable we got the "big" 2 bedroom cabin with kitchenette for $129 a night. They don't sell fishing licenses anymore but you can purchase them online with your phone. They have a full bar and a few slot machines. They have a small store that sells camping supplies, food, bait and booze. Great for a boys weekend.

From what I understood the owner was away so his family was handling the business. Very friendly and welcoming folks eager to help out should we have any problems. We had an additional truck and car hauler with us. We were able to park it there in the park near us so we didn't have to worry about off site unsecure parking. We had very easy to access full hook ups on the site. The site was very level with easy ingress and egress. Some of the sites have tree coverage and others are exposed which can work if you need to run a Star Link or the like or want the shade. The park has a really nice laundry room and shower facility right at the entrance attached to the office. The park was really quiet at night with zero noise heard from the main highway that has a lot of trucks going through using their Jake Brakes. Alamo itself is small but has the needed basic services. This is one of those hidden gems of a park to be able to plan a stop at while travelling.

(5 stars) This is…read morehands down one of the nicest RV resorts we've stayed at in all our years of traveling. Beautifully designed, thoughtfully maintained, and surprisingly affordable for the level of amenities. When you first pull in, you're greeted by a water feature and a large, gorgeous building that sets the tone. Inside is check-in (staff were super friendly and accommodating), as well as a mercantile open to both guests and locals. They serve coffee, have snacks, t-shirts, and small essentials -- a great little touch. Walk through that main building and you enter the guest community space, which is outstanding. There's a pool table, piano, movie-watching area, card tables, and even a huge kitchen for gatherings. In the back, there's a room with air hockey, ping pong, and pinball. The building also houses the laundry room, plus multiple guest bathrooms. Step outside and you'll find a barbecue and outdoor seating area for entertaining. The pool complex is resort-level. A zero-entry pool with a fountain cascading from the center, a very large (kidney-shaped) hot tub that's shaded in the afternoon, plenty of seating, and an outdoor shower and bathroom for convenience. The whole area is beautifully fenced and landscaped. Towels are even provided. The park itself has around 150 sites -- spacious, landscaped, and well thought-out. Some newer sections are still being finished, but what's completed shows the level of detail: plants, flowers, and green grass between sites. It feels open and inviting, not crammed in like so many other RV parks. Down at the lower end of the park is a gem -- a pond with a bridge, market lights, catch-and-release fishing, paddle boats, a kayak, and a walking path around it. At night, with the lights reflecting off the water, it's stunning. There's even a small dog park nearby for your pup to stretch out. Between the design, amenities, and the atmosphere, this resort is in a class of its own. We've stayed at plenty of "resorts" that charged more but offered half as much. This place is the real deal, and we loved every minute of it. We'll absolutely be back.

From the time we arrived, to the time we left we were treated like family. Travis (the owner) was available daily to make sure our stay was as perfect as can be. We enjoyed the spacious and beautifully maintained sites, the sparkling clean bathrooms, the inviting pool and spa, and the sports courts. We also rented a fire ring which he personally delivered. We even had an embarrassing incident when our friend's car leaked oil on the concrete. Observing the pride that he has in his business I know this must have been upsetting, but he tried to make us feel better by reminding us that "nobody died" and it will all be okay. When we asked them to lower it we were confronted with obstinance and told it was Utah state law to keep it that high. Well that's not true and it's a dangerous temperature. Subsequent request were met with angry retorts. So I called the Health Department and it finally got resolved. Now guests can enjoy the spa. What a bunch of arrogant employees.

Best RV Park in St. George area!…read more Sites are mostly level with large gravel. Sites are very well spaced out and deep! The noise level has greatly improved with the large retention walls on the side of i15. The resort is super clean! Free trash pick up, two dog parks, free doggy poop bags, daily propane fill up, and more. Laundry and bathrooms are very well kept. I haven't used the pool area but I always see staff cleaning and prepping the area. Baseball court, swings, and more are available! The prices are reasonable and what really makes it special is the staff! They are absolutely amazing, from Bree, Dillon, Kevin, Rosie, Marysa and Brevin, the truly take care of the resort and the guests. They've started with weekly events to bring people together, including weekly yoga, group cooking classes, poker night and more. Some are for the whole family and some just for adults.
