Bridgeway Property Management stepped in immediately, overdue repairs were completed, house visits, photos, assessments, invoices, were all filed and tracked through their online reporting system, which is really easy to use. All for a low monthly fee well worth the piece of mind and the hours I was putting in trying to manage my own property. Shirley picked up the phone whenever I needed help, answered all my questions, solved problems, and for the entire contract until I sold my property I never had to engage with tenants, go through the time consuming process of finding new tenants, and above all was able to relax knowing the property was fully in compliance with city and building and tenant codes. I cannot recommend this company highly enough. When the time came to sell they even found me a top quality agent.

This company stole my money…read more In Toronto, you pay your first and last month rent up front. On the last month, they notified me that rent will still be pulled "accidentally" as they didn't cancel it in time, but not to worry, they will send a check out right away. Well, on the date they stated it would be deposited, it wasn't deposited. I waited a few days in good faith then called in. No answer. They wouldn't answer my calls. I had to call with a 3rd party number they didn't know, Mark answered. I said hi, its me ______. What happened? He said oh sorry, it will actually go next week. Well, it was never deposited. They don't answer my calls, or my emails. They just stole a months rent. I have filed with RT and other agencies and I will be suing in small claims court Ontario to get my money back. Don't trust this company.

(Due to the not-so-great online reviews, DASH wasn't on my initial list of places to call, BUT I called them anyway after a property manager friend from Vancouver suggested them. She hasn't been in the GTA for a few years, soo...I still called myself to chat with someone.) After following some prompts on their phone line, I found out that I couldn't even leave a voicemail!!! It said that their voicemail service was not "initiated". Ok, being a service and time-sensitive industry at that, it's really a poor sign if a potential client is unable to reach anyone! So hence my poor review. If I had left a voicemail and someone had called me back, there wouldn't be a need for this review. However, seeing how I was unable to speak to a live agent of the company, left a super bad impression of the company. Needless to say, I cannot refer this company based on being unable to reach anyone!

Because of the poor organization and lack of communication on the part of my previous management company, switching to PMT was complicated. Thank goodness the people I was working with at PMT, particularly Pedro, were so helpful! Everyone at PMT went above and beyond in helping me make the switch. PMT has been highly responsive, quickly to reply to messages, friendly and extremely helpful. They have helped make my property run more efficiently, organized all the repairs and clean-up that had been previously unaddressed, and in the process also sourced the most cost-conscious ways in which to do this. Working with the team at PMT is a pleasure and I feel relieved knowing they are caring for my house.

Review of 490 Eglinton Apartments The apartment was never…read morecleaned before moved in. The toilet bowl was completely black. I had to use a lot of bleach to clean the entire place. In addition to that there were parts in the kitchen cupboards that looked unsightly. There were holes in the walls of cupboards/cabinets with tissue paper stuffed inside as a makeshift cover. It was a horrendous sight to behold and they were ok with allowing me to move there in such a condition. Also, please note that the building is not in a bad area. It is in a good area and it is not cheap as well. It was quite pricey. Next the superintendent basically attempted to use scare tactics to get me to sign the move-in document that the place was habitable. He was quite threatening which I found strange and surprising. It seemed ok to the superintendent that I move into an apartment that was inadequately prepared for habitation. Furthermore, it took them weeks to give me a parking space because no one in that entire company knows who is parked where. The first parking space they gave me was already occupied and then they told me to tell the person to move. That's not my job and I'm not a bouncer. Why should I tell someone to move from their parking lot? and of course the tenant was pissed that they told him to move because he had been paying for that spot. How can a landlord not know who is parked where when they were the ones that assigned the parking spots to the tenants? It's absolutely ridiculous. Finally, the superintendent gave me his parking spot to park. In addition, the turnover rate for superintendents in that building was significant. Sometimes the superintendent came and stayed for 2 weeks then moved. I don't blame them. Cromwell is a terrible company. I rented a 2 bedroom apartment. Typically, if someone does that, the landlord gives them a main key and a spare key as standard. I basically had to argue with the property manager to get a spare key which is standard and I had to pay a $50 deposit for it. I had never heard of anything so ridiculous in my life. In addition, it is illegal to charge tenants a flat fee in the summer for air conditioner use as a result of electricity and Cromwell knows this but they were billing me illegally this air conditioner fee just to show how evil they are. At one point in time, when there was repair work to be done, a contractor damaged my appliance and I reported it, Cromwell (Flutra) told me to contact the contractor company to get it. I told them that's your job to do that but they are so lazy, stubborn and rude that you cannot get them to do their job. Obviously, it was my money concerned so I had no choice but to call for the refund for damaging the appliance. The security in the building is ridiculous. There are very few cameras. Before I moved in, someone broke into my apartment. I found this out when I called the insurance company to get insurance for the apartment. Also, at least once a year, someone breaks into the parking lot and breaks into many or most of the cars looking for things to steal but they do nothing about it. After the last break-in, I found out that there was only one camera in the entire underground parking lot and the thief knew and covered it before he broke into the cars. There should more cameras in the underground parking lot and another one at the key entrance of the lot but there are not. Also, this happened several times and they know but they don't care. Other apartment buildings have key fobs not keys so that if anyone steals a key fob, you can deactivate it but Cromwell's apartment uses keys that they have never changed so anyone can come and break in and steal. Also, the superintendent gave me an extra entrance key meaning I had 3 keys which is so unsafe. He thought he was being nice to me. How many other people was the superintendent giving keys? Maybe the superintendents and property managers are the ones colluding to steal. Who knows? That is really dangerous. When I call for questions or concerns, it takes days for them to respond. They never pick up the phones and when they do, they are extremely rude. I saw these people in person and I've never seen women so ugly in my life. To put it bluntly, if Quasimoto from the hunchback of notre dame and Ursula the witch from Disney's little mermaids were to have a kid together, the kid would look just like Reyna Pereira who is the property manager of the building. Reynah Pereira has a very, very nasty and ugly attitude to go with her extremely ugly looks. Also, I don't believe they do much work there because they take 2-3 hour lunches. If you call at 11AM, the receptionist will tell you they are at lunch until 2PM. Also, I called once to ask who their bosses were and they would not tell me who their bosses were so I knew that this place probably is a criminal ring and does many illegal things and I am not safe there, hence my move. Also, it means that the owner may not be aware of the employees' antics.
