Christian cooper When I moved into the building two months after I moved in, I requested another unit due to issues with my unit Long story short being a single parent was my daughter was terrified every single night and I have a day later I put a request in for a transfer two months after people continuously moved out. I was not told finally when I heard someone moved recently. I asked for a question and they said I was accepted and then told me I would have to pay $1000 I was preparing for work and struggling financially. That was the first time that happened. The only reason I got a hold of them is because they have retards working in the building painting carpet stairs. I've tried to contact them and they don't reply to me. They're disgusting. Whoever says Greenwin cares who do they care about? I know some elderly people in the building saying they got bills to pay sometimes 300 up to 500 for doing balcony repairs repairs they're disgusting So I got a hold of CHRISTIAN COOPER for the first time.. after almost falling down a whole bunch of flight of stairs due to painter that was working in the staircase and left the cover over the stairs and left it unattended and it was the same colour as the stairs and I'm noticeable arms. Management for safety issues just in case what is it... What if it was an elderly person or a child Look at the pictures she's clearly playing with me trying to do a unit inspection three weeks after telling me I'm approved as an excuse so that I do not get the transfer Can you believe she told me different colours only pink and my daughters room as a single parent dealing with this? I am continuously asking to speak to somebody higher up and management somebody named. ADRIANA I believe. Call me. After reading on the Internet, Greenwin cares. Do you know what they offered me? They offered me some type of form to fill out saying that I could end my tenancy earlier so I could move out of the building. This whole issue is about my three year old daughter, not sleeping at night due to my current unit having significant noises and other issues that do not not need to be mentioned. How does Greenwin care? My room is so I can't move after I'm accepted Don't get me wrong Greenwin Builder phenomenal. I love them. I recommend terms of living Greenland has almost 1 Management is beyond disgusting Largest building management or secondary management management is terrible and so many ways if anyone has any questions, ask me and I'll tell you Elder people in the building told me they got bills for someone that owns the building.     Since moving into 68 Hillside Dr, there have been numerous incidents with the building representative, Ethel (who lives a door down directly across from the apartment I was in), that have left me feeling targeted and unsafe in my own home. The most notable and concerning experiences were: * On September 13, 2022 - Ethel barged into my home with her master key without any notice. I was in a meeting that day as I work from home and I heard knocks on the door. As I wasnt expecting any guests, I did not answer my door. I few moments later, Ethel unlocked my door with the master key and was in the door with 1-2 other men who she mentioned was plumping, I was on my couch naked as well and felt so uncomfortable. She told me she gave notice on the door, however there wasn't any notice. My cousin has been staying with me in my unit and has been there even when I am not at home, I asked her if she saw or received notice, she let me know there wasn't a notice given or put on our door. Not only was this extremely uncomfortable for me, I feel extremely unsafe and this goes against my rights as a tenant. As a Trans person, I take my safety very seriously and this incident made me feel unsafe to live here. * October 6, 2022 - My partner came by my apartment to drop my service dog off at my house to my cousin and I was alarmed of an inappropriate interaction that had happened between Ethel, my partner, and her little sister. Ethel harassed them as they were dropping off my dog. She then started calling my phone after 11pm, and when she didnt get through to me, she then emailed me demanded me to tell my partner to come back right away to my house and take my dog out of my unit. When I saw the email the next morning, I had advised Ethel that my dog was fine and that she has not been left there without supervision for an extended period of time as my cousin was at my house 10 mins after drop off. My partner and her little sister weren't making any noise but Ethel was very closely monitoring them at the apartment, and when asked why she started acting irrationally, yelling in the hallways etc. Her behaviour was very erratic and disproportionate for the situation and caused my guests (one of whom was a minor) to feel very scared. Additionally, often times that I've had guest (Black folks and people of colour), come to my apartment, they've noted similar and uncomfortable reactions. In addition, instead of speaking to me she has harassed and threatened my guarantor to pay up on rent, even though she confirmed with me on the extension on submitting payment. This has been the third time she's complained to my gurantor without addressing me about the unit. I believe this is due to discrimination as I am a Black Trans disabled individual and my gurantor is white cis-man. She has not spoken to me at all regarding the unit that I pay for but instead calls my gurantor and threatens him about the unit and to tell him all the issues she has with me living there. I find this to be very inappropriate. I've addressed to Ethel that I was her first point of contact in regards to the rent and that everything should be brought to me first and that if for whatever reason she was not able to get a hold of me then I would understand why she'd feel the need to message my guarantor. She also has my email address which I've asked her to message me from now on so that there's a track record of all of this. She does not email me and I believe she doesnt want a track record of what she's been doing. I've reached out to management but they have done zero about it. I also came home from after their "inspection" and they left the walls open and mice came into my unit, chew up things and pooped all over the floors. Couldn't believe. Due to not only these reasons, I do not feel safe or comfortable living at this building. I am beyond exhausted with the constant racism, discrimination and micro-aggressions not only with me but with my guests. I deserve to live in a place where I feel physically and psychologically safe in.

    Unbelievably terrible, do not rent from them. The management does a horribly job maintaining the units despite their absolute best efforts to make the building look good to those who visit. Our site manager confirmed that our cabinets have likely never been replaced, in a building built in the 1960s. This has lead to conditions that encourage insect infestations, which is clearly against both provincial and municipal laws. There are cracks all throughout the cabinets, cracks between the floors and walls behind the cabinets, and overall terrible up-keep and poor workmanship. This situation has resulted in us having to kill upwards of 15 roaches per day. All the building is willing to do is continually send workers for "gel and dust" treatments, which does not at all address the underlying issue and is ineffective when there are insects throughout the building, and they have unlimited access to the unit. Not only does this break municipal and provincial laws, but it also doesn't make business sense. Why would a landlord continue to pay for ineffective treatments indefinitely, eventually costing more than fixing the underlying problem and investing in their property simultaneously. Not to mention the negative publicity associated with displeased customers.

    This company stole my money…read more In Toronto, you pay your first and last month rent up front. On the last month, they notified me that rent will still be pulled "accidentally" as they didn't cancel it in time, but not to worry, they will send a check out right away. Well, on the date they stated it would be deposited, it wasn't deposited. I waited a few days in good faith then called in. No answer. They wouldn't answer my calls. I had to call with a 3rd party number they didn't know, Mark answered. I said hi, its me ______. What happened? He said oh sorry, it will actually go next week. Well, it was never deposited. They don't answer my calls, or my emails. They just stole a months rent. I have filed with RT and other agencies and I will be suing in small claims court Ontario to get my money back. Don't trust this company.

(Due to the not-so-great online reviews, DASH wasn't on my initial list of places to call, BUT I called them anyway after a property manager friend from Vancouver suggested them. She hasn't been in the GTA for a few years, soo...I still called myself to chat with someone.) After following some prompts on their phone line, I found out that I couldn't even leave a voicemail!!! It said that their voicemail service was not "initiated". Ok, being a service and time-sensitive industry at that, it's really a poor sign if a potential client is unable to reach anyone! So hence my poor review. If I had left a voicemail and someone had called me back, there wouldn't be a need for this review. However, seeing how I was unable to speak to a live agent of the company, left a super bad impression of the company. Needless to say, I cannot refer this company based on being unable to reach anyone!
