Horrible properties and horrible management.. Been living in a brand new renovated apartment and their are roaches throughout the whole building.. Management is aware and does nothing. There are rodents in the garbage shutes and cleaners mop only where there is a spill. Had water damage for over a year and nothing was done. Be one minute late on rent though and you will finally hear from someone.. Honestly the worst place I have ever resided. read more

Moved out of this building a few weeks ago after my lease was up and as soon as the bullshit with them is wrapped up I will be glad to feel so FREE from this place. Everyone keeps to themselves pretty much so it will never feel like a home which may be good for some. The apartments themselves are fine, you're typical box apartment But what sucks here is anyone who works there! Nothing can get done, you ask 5 employees the same question and you'll get 5 separate answers. They didn't do a proper walk through when I moved in and now that I'm moving out are charging me for pre existing damages....when they went into my apartment without notice without permission...when I was reassigning my lease to someone and according to what I signed all of that stuff wasn't supposed to happen in the first place. They didn't fix any work orders I put in the year that I lived there, they didn't address the two complaints that I put in for a whole year, and they are just generally unorganized and don't care about 90% of the tenants. They also make small unnecessary 'improvements' to the building that no one uses to justify raising the rent past Toronto's legal amount every year. No matter how prepared and on the ball you are about all of your stuff, they will find a way to mess up the simplest tasks and make your life a living hell. I haven't lived there for a month and am still dealing with their bullshit regardless of the fact that I'm always checking up on them and trying to get it resolved. They just ignore my side of things and selectively reply and are very condescending. If you feel like keeping your sanity and enjoying life, if you can't deal with people who are so inept at their jobs, or people that are so condescending and rude, then do not live in this building. read more

Re: 675 Richmond St. London. This property is poorly managed, can't wait for the lease to end. Beware!!!!!

This apartment building and the company that owns it is absolutely AWFUL!!!! I strongly urge anyone who is contemplating on renting here to turn around and RUN FAST! There are so many horrible things about this building, but I'll start at the beginning. When myself and my roommate first came to view the unit we rented out it was still under construction and only had photos to go off of. It was our first time moving away from home and didnt know much about what we should be looking for. At first the place seemed ok. It was convenient for my school route and my roommates work route. When the realtor took us up the elevators were barely moving and they were disgusting. She strongly assured us that they are under the process of being replaced. That was a huge lie. a year and 3 months later they are still not working. They break down CONSTANTLY, sometimes making people walk up the stairs. I have been locked in several times and have had to pry the doors open. They don't open or stop on the floor theyre suppose to. The laundry machines are in the basement which is absolutely disgusting. They are never cleaned and usually theres at least one or more not working. They are tiny and dont properly clean your clothes because they look like theyre from the 1960's. Not to mention they have raised the price on them 3 times since ive been here. Oh thats another thing, rent is HIGH. We pay 1,895 at this shitty building with no amenities and in one of Toronto's worst areas. right beside Sherbourne. And they keep raising rent for tenants. Parking is a joke. Anyone can break into the garage by simply lifting the garage door. My roommate has had her car window smashed and broken into THREE times! With her stereo being stolen as well as her phone and car papers. And of course the building doesn't do anything about it. There is NO security...the door locks to enter are constantly breaking so anyone can walk in through the back or basement or go into the laundry room and take things since the lock for that doesn't work either. The apartment finishes and materials used in the units are VERY cheap, and there is no fan system circulating in the building so your place is literally a ball of dust and you have to clean practically every day because the building is so old. Needless to say, I could go on for a long time. This place is trying so hard to cover up how awful it is and it is squeezing every penny they can from tenants. The management is awful and rude. The landlard on the other hand, his name is suh, is very kind and accommodating. He is the only positive thing about the place. read more

The building is not maintained. Renovated suites are poorly done and when maintenance is needed it literally takes months if at all. It's painfully clear that the building is poorly managed and is aging no matter what they state. Air conditioning in units is almost non-existent, windows are old and cold in the winter. Don't expect to be looked after when you move in here. read more

Hands down worst place I have ever lived. We thought that our building in Guelph was poorly managed due to staff but it seems like tenant satisfaction is an issue with Greenwin across the board in many locations. They put money into making the units look nice (new appliances etc.), new paint jobs but fail to address serious concerns such as water pipes, and building air. They shut the water off far too frequently with hardly any notice, this is clearly due to an issue with water pipes or the water heater that they're too cheap to fix. Constantly bad smells in the hallway, and loud scratching noises in the wall. In March of this year our building flooded when a pipe burst in the elevator and we were forced out of our home. The management team was uncommunicative, after telling us to find somewhere else to stay that night we returned the following day to a sign telling us to come back on Monday, with no staff to offer information in sight. This delay ended up extending our time of being out of the building to 2 WEEKS! If that wasn't bad enough they decided to modernize the elevator after we moved back in from the flood and we were left to climb 7 flights of stairs everyday for 9 weeks with no compensation. The best part is that after all of this we get a letter from them stating that they are raising the rent. Can't wait to get out of this place and rid myself of the giant headache I've had all year. read more

Greenwin Property Management does not maintain their buildings at all. I have been resident in one for many years, and have watched it deteriorate steadily. We were without elevator access to the underground parking throughout the month of December. Repairs were supposedly carried out.The elevator failed again in February. Tenants aboard were able to get it running on that occasion, and management was informed of the failure. No work was done, so now the elevator failed again and has been out of service for several days. read more

I just moved to 2250 homelands drive . The worst manager . My floor needs to be redone . The parquets are broken and we are tripping on this a few times a day and I talked to the property manager as well., they have done nothing for us.all they say is that they're waiting for contractors to schedule this and I'm not sure what company they're dealing with that takes forever to fix this issue !!!!i did not even have a proper mailbox for 3 months !!!! And the super was telling me they're waiting for parts !!!! How awful is that? Avoid dealing with them. read more

If I had a choice of not even giving a ONE star,I would do it!This management is one of the worst in Canada along with the building owners Starlight. They don't care about their tenants AT ALL!Their units are overpriced and their service is SHIT!Excuse my language but it is the only word I can describe their customer service.Building is dirty, staff is rude and ignorant, cockroaches and silverfish all over the place and they charge almost $1500 plus parking plus hydro for a 2 BDR unit.Move in anywhere else and don't even think about spending your hard earned money on the rent in their buildings! read more

These people are the scum of the earth. They shut down the parking garage of the building during the winter season for six months. On top of that, they forced the tenants to continue paying for parking although no parking service was provided. read more

Would not wish living in one of their buildings on my worst enemy. Sorry to be dramatic but our experience living here has been traumatic and filled with never ending problems. We live in one of their buildings in Guelph and had re-occurring problems with uncooperative management and repeat problems with plumbing and maintenance. This all was overshadowed when the building flooded in march... we were kicked out of our home and offered no alternative living arrangement for 2 WEEKS. Management dealt with this horribly (the entire experience had me so stressed I got shingles... SHINGLES! I am 23 years old!!). Since being allowed back in, we had birds enter our appartment because management had ignored our requests to have loud scratching in the walls looked at. This escalated and an entire family of birds was living in our walls, one of which entered our apartment (please see photo attached). To top off a horrible year, the elevator recently went under a modernization project that left us TEN weeks without an elevator (we live on the 7th floor). Please never sign a lease with this company unless you enjoy horrible management, endless problems and more stress than you need in your life. 1 star is more than they deserve. read more

Was going to rent what was advertised as "Never lived in" apartment in Hamilton ON. All I can say is from the word go I was lied to and treated with complete disrespect! I asked about bug/pest problems and was told there was no infestation and the building was "clean". Only to find out from a tenant that the building was in fact infested with roaches, bed bugs and mice. I had not taken possession of the unit and requested my $1,075.00 to be refunded. That's when the fun really began. I was ignored, spoken down to, and of course lied to. I was also told that my unit would be vacate for a month prior to me moving in to allow them to get it to "never lived in" conditions as the ad stated on Kijiji. I went to view the unit in the middle of August to find that is still being lived in and the people were not moving out until the day before I moved in. How were they gong to have that unit in the condition that was promised to me. The manager at 125 Wellington St. N agreed to refund my money and told me I would have my cheque in one week. Well it is over the one week and still no cheque. I called head office in Toronto with the hopes that I may get a better response from the staff there. Well big surprise they are very rude at that location as well. I was told today that my cheque is sitting on her desk and she may mail it today. There were quick enough to take debit card transaction for the money and now I have to wait for a cheque to be mailed. Am I being punished for not wanting to live in an infested building? Tatiana was rude and abrupt and scolded me for putting them in this position. AT this point I am homeless on the 31st of August, due to me not getting my money back in time. I had secured a place to move if I was able to pay first and last month's rent today. I am not going to get my cheque for another week (safe assumption to make). What do I do with my furniture? Where am I gong to live? This company runs on poor ethics and the staff are rude! read more
