I've never tried storing/moving furniture with Guys and Dollies so I can't say much about that. However when it comes to smaller items such as their signature boxes, luggage and small appliances (microwaves, mini fridges, etc), I've never encountered a problem. They pick up from your house whether yozu're at the dorms or off campus and drop off wherever you want too. They will give you as many boxes as you may need (and take back unused boxes) and other supplies like tape and labels. A friend of mine used their services to ship her things to New York and had no complaints. Guys and Dollies is flexible with pick up and drop off times and can even do same day appointments for the most part. I've never come across an issue that they haven't resolved quickly over the phone. I would recommend making an appointment early for pick up in May and drop off in August since those are their busiest times. They also have cost estimates on their website and are willing to go into more detail over the phone. I would highly recommend their services to anyone in between leases or not in town for the summer.

Another thing is that their quote was a flat rate and everyone else's quote was based on an hourly limit and charged significantly more every hour over. Had I gone with another company, I would have been out at least $300-$400 dollars. Three guys showed up on time, dressed in uniform and were super professional. One was a supervisor and he made sure everything was done right from wrapping furniture in blankets to unhooking and rehooking up the washer and dryer, etc. all the other movers I called refused to do washers and dryers and since I'm single and don't know how to do it, this was anther huge plus. Don't let the fact that they are based in Kokomo discourage you if you're from Indy. They showed up on time and were just great in every way. Give these guys a call; you won't be sorry!!

She was apologetic and motivated to make it right. Movers arrived at 5:30pm instead of 10:30am. Showed up with a 15' truck instead of 20', causing us to make 2 trips. I had pre packed and wrapped EVERYTHING and separated the garage items from the house items. Instead of packing all garage items or all house items at the same time, the movers decided to mix. I'm still carrying boxes back and forth between the house and garage, which are located 60 feet apart. One of the 3 movers suffered from heat exhaustion and checked out for an hour while the work continued. Understandable but confused why the company still wanted to charge me for that worker's time. The biggest surprise was never hearing from Grace's supervisor all day to apologize, explain, assist. Grace deserves better and so did I.

Used them to move from Noblesville to Westfield…read more Broke the leg lift portion on our adjustable bed frame by not securing it and letting flop around while they attempted to find room on the overloaded truck they had brought. It was overloaded because the scheduler had them pickup boxes at another client also making them late for our appointment. The broken pieces were shown to the movers along with the broken O-ring that they destroyed. We filed a claim and sought an estimate from the manufacturer. Before the estimate was completed the mover declined the saying they did not know the bed worked before!!!!! Think about that before you have they move your stuff. Would they know if you large screen tv worked before moving? Total cost fir this repair is less than $300.

I have her voicemail and would attach it here if reviews permitted that. I was told that I would receive a phone call prior to the movers arriving. I waited this morning and didn't receive one. Then I called was informed that the movers were there waiting for 45 minutes and that I was responsible for paying for that time they waited because someone wrote my phone number incorrectly.
