I was dealing with vertigo and vestibular dysfunction for a year before I found Dr. Newman. I was…read morediagnosed with cervicogenic dizziness and then vestibular migraine. I went through months of PT, acupuncture, cranial sacral therapy, and tried medication. None of these helped much at all. I still had DAILY feelings of rocking and swaying with accompanying nausea. After three of four adjustments using the equipment ONLY Dr. Newman has, I started to feel some relief. I completed my sessions and the cervical spine portion of the vestibular issues are much better. I will continue to come in to keep my cervical spine, entire spine, and body in the best of health. I love that they have equipment that is backed by real science. It's like no other chiropractic experience I have had in the past, and I have been seeing chiropractors as needed for over 3 decades. Dr. Newman and staff are just the kindest and most compassionate people. The atmosphere there is one of peace and calm. Dr. Newman is extremely knowledgeable and takes the time to communicate with you and answer all of your questions. They make billing your insurance a breeze, too! I can't recommend them highly enough.

Dr. Newman evaluated me and came up with a plan to work on fixing my spine, including resetting my atlas vertebrae. The results were immediately noticeable and motivated me to stay on track through the entire 12 week process. I can't express how much it helped me. I sleep through the night now. The numbness I experienced in my neck and back is gone. It positively affected things that I though were unrelated like my pelvic floor issue. All in all, I'm now only going for the occasional adjustment now as my quality of life has improved substantially. Everyone at the office was friendly and helpful. This business comes highly recommended.

He genuinely cares about helping people to the point that he keeps the lists of insurances he accepts long and his wait times short. Of particular note: I went to Dr. Ahmed throughout my second pregnancy and saw many positive differences from my first (for which I didn't seek chiropractic care). This was during the pandemic, and he went out of his way to schedule me at off-times when there were fewer people in the office and upped his already impressive sanitation routine to help keep me safe. A word to those of you who want your chiropractic visit to feel like a spa experience: this isn't the right spot. This is a simple operation that makes it feel more like getting an adjustment in your living room than at a yoga retreat. Personally, I like that, but it's worth being aware of before your visit. I absolutely recommend the Chiro-Care team!

So to give this practice the review it deserves, I have to talk about my very first visit. I had…read morejust injured my back, the day before I went to the ER (which was a waste of $2,500) with crazy pain in my lower back. I couldn't feel my legs, I couldn't walk, sit or lay without crying in pain. I spoke to a friend who told me about Dr. Connelly. So I made an appointment, lied to my fiancé and told him I was okay so he wouldn't miss another day of work taking care of me, and drove myself to the appointment. I was shaking and sweating and tearing up when I was waiting because the more thats how much pain I was in. I was a wreck, they evaluated me and gave me some ice and did stimulus therapy, but it was deemed that I needed to heal a bit before it was okay that they touch me further, they didnt want to do more damage until I was stable enough to access the situation. Dr. Connelly asked me to be picked up by someone, because I couldn't even sit in a driving position anymore. To be honest I wasnt even sure if I could stand to move my feet between the brake and gas pedals. He said that he would drop by if it was okay with me to lend me a tens machine and check up on me and give me further instructions on what I can do before he can work on me. So he dropped by, told my sister how to help me around, gave me some tips, gave me a tens machine and told me he would see me soon. Now, I needed a referral to get it covered by my insurance. My primary doctor has a grudge against chiropractors so I couldn't get it from him. I tried visiting another doctor to get a referral, but everywhere was either not accepting my insurance or not accepting new patients. I called them and let them know "hey thanks for your help, but I can't afford to pay out of pocket and my insurance won't help me". I got a call back saying that they'll figure out a way to work with me financially so I can get the help I need. And they did so I could afford to go. Since the initial visit, I've seen Dr. Connelly a handful of times. He promised me within 3 visits I'll be back to normal. And he came through with his promise! I went a few times after that just for adjustments but unfortunately between traveling and work I havent had a ton of time for a visit. Regardless, I'm doing better than ever and since he got me back to working order Ive been able to keep up on my weightloss goals. Im able to go to the gym atleast 3 times a week and do zumba once a week, he showed stretches and exercises that have helped me continue to keep the back pain away. I don't know what I would have done without his help.

I had come in a few minutes early (as I always had without incident) and I was talked down to by the receptionist like I was a 2 year old - verbally scolded by a woman who was at least 20 years younger than me! I let that go but I was not happy! The following visit I was forced to wait and wait in a crowded waiting room for my last visit without any acknowledgment at all. But. . . But. . . isn't that so dangerous with the plague? I had even taken a half day from work!!! Finally I chose to walk the hell out. I did that and never came back. My last experience with the office staff was poor. Extremely condescending and rude. Dr did personally call to try to salvage my business but he chose his rude office staff over the patient saying he would "work" with her. If your office staff is rude and condescending to patients why would they be the face-voice of your business anyway? Lots of turnover here too- that speaks volumes. I guess the only time they seem to care is when you walk out- I was getting calls nonstop but when you are there? No appreciation. I've since had two other old school chiropractors who charge me next to nothing because I don't go through insurance. The one I saw was wonderful but fell ill and passed away- the other is amazing- Shout out to YOU DR JOSEPH WASHKO!! He also gives me plenty of time- I'm not rushed in and out like Dr C. It was a blessing in disguise- my last experience enabled me to find a far better value and comprehensive treatment. Sorry- not sorry.
