DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY!! Service is horrible and the massage is terrible. They get way to close to private areas without consent. Rude employees who harass for a specific tip and will argue until they get it. They will not let you leave until you tip 20% where it was not deserved and it does not state anywhere that it is required. After finally giving in and tipping 20% I was not addressed or acknowledged as the lady walked away from me. Also table shower is full nude and inappropriate without any discretion. The worst experience of my life. Forced to tip and was given attitude. Could tell I was being talked about when I wouldn't tip a higher amount when the massage was not worth it. I think only men enjoy this place as they like to get too close for comfort and I heard men leaving extremely satisfied. If I could give 0 stars I would. When I asked to use the bathroom after my massage they told me it was busy when it was not. The woman who did my massage was very rough even when I told her that she was too quick and hard. I like deep but not beatings. She opened the curtain prior to me even getting dressed and left it open. I closed it. After I paid and then went to give her a 22percent cash tip. Before I could get it out she demanded A tip on the credit card receipt. I was so pissed after she snatched my cash tip. I left very unsatisfied. The last time I went here was an extremely horrible experience. Me and my mom got massages together, and the two women doing our massages were talking extremely loud and laughing to each other the entire duration of the massage. They would leave several times for minutes at a time, barely using one hand for the massages. Extremely not relaxing, but rather infuriating lol. And they made it known that they expected a tip after. The second time I walked in, and the woman was genuinely giving me the scariest weirdest look when greeting me, like she was pissed off that I was there. I should have left because I felt uncomfortable but I decided to stick it out. I WAS LITERALLY WORRIED THROUGHOUT THE MASSAGE THAT SHE WAS GOING TO STRANGLE ME. She didn't, but I was still uncomfortable barely massaging me, more just rubbing my skin. Then when I was leaving, there was a woman sleeping on the couch right in the lobby area. This my hands down my favorite massage place. It's affordable which means I can go more frequently (yay) and they are really thorough. No appointments necessary, it so awesome to be able to walk in and get a massage on a whim. The temperature is perfect and the massage therapists massage you for the entire time as opposed to some places who only do a 45 minute with a 15 minute consult. Wish I could give 0 stars! Not impressed. I don't get massages that often, but the ones I have had were amazing. I asked for an hour massage. I would say 40 minutes were focused just on my back. Technique was not good(basically just like rubbing in the oil over and over again). No massage of the shoulders or leg area. She left the room for about 5 minutes during the massage I guess to get the hot rocks which she used in the same areas on my back. The timer went off as she had flipped me over and started to massage my face and dig her fingers through my hair over and over again. She then said "oh time up. You want more time? 20 minute? 30 minute?" Definitely not a full body massage and definitely not what I needed. Basically a waste of time and of my money. I went to Massage Quest last Sunday for an one hour reflexology massage to try to relieve plantar fasciitis pain in my left foot. It was my first time visiting this shop and was excited for it's convenient location. I thought it was strange that I had to pay and potentially tip for the service before it was rendered, but I was in a lot of pain and did not really care. The massage itself was just ok. My lower back started hurting from laying on the table, so I requested an additional 20 minute back massage. Halfway during the back massage, the therapist ended it and told me she was only going to change me for 10 mins. Due to the language barrier, I have no idea why. When paying for the extra massage , I noticed a couple ladies who came in after me paying for their service after it was rendered. This made me question, to myself, why did I have to initially pay upfront and these ladies did not? Is it my age, race or just an inconsistent business practice? I left the shop still in pain, not relaxed, and slightly annoyed. I could forgive poor customer service if the massage was exceptional. It was not. I probably will not return. read more
