Today I tried to contact a few again and many were happy to give me a new quote except this business. I received an email back from the owner "Manual S" with a reply that said this "Julie, we responded to your request several times in the past". Obviously it was putting the company out by asking again. This business must have too much business to give a customer a second quote. I feel this reply was uncalled for and will take my business elsewhere. I would recommend everyone else do so too.

They even told me something they noticed in my car they figured I would want to know! The second time I hired them for an exterior detail and, I kid you not, the car looked better and cleaner when they finished than it did when I first bought the car brand new. I could not believe what I saw it looked so damn good! They even applied paint touch up for me to parts of the car where I'd gotten rock chips and other paint damage. I had stains on the seats and the dashboard was pretty terrible. When he was done, I was relatively happy with the work he did. I could tell he worked hard and even gave him some cookies and a tip as a thank you. Here's my complaints: He quoted me an estimate of 100, and then told me once he drove all the way there that it would actually be 160. I felt upset he didn't tell me that before, or even explain his pricing layout. He apologized for that. Secondly, he told me he forgot his lamp to illuminate cars at night, so without my knowledge or consent, he started my car and let it run for at least 2 hours so he could use my dome light without killing my battery. I had bought that car a few days before and was unsure if it had any temperature issues. Thankfully my car didn't overheat. I ended up providing him a professional headlamp so he wouldn't use my cars engine but he didn't turn it off. At this point, he had been at my house for around 3.5 hours and I just wanted it to be done. It was only a 4 door Saturn, nothing big. The car looked excellent and very clean, however some of the stains he couldn't get out because he was only using liquid cleaning products, not a steamer. He practically pleaded with me to write a good review for him and his family, but the thought of him leaving my car idling for that long because he didn't have his lamp is still bothering me. I understand he went out of his way for me and $160 still isn't that bad of a price, but considering he left my car idle for hours... That was upsetting. I gave him a tip and some cookies still, so..
