The methodology required, by law to notify another party that you wish to have your dispute decided via the court system (largely a cat and mouse game) isn't as easy as it may appear, but its quite critical in the legal sense of the word....even for a small claims case. The importance of proper, legal process-service was driven home to me while I was in small claims court; the judge there sent another plaintiff back to "square one" for improper, self guided process service which deemed their day in court a non-starter. Really made me glad I selected Rancho Attorney Services to handle that critical element in this process, and it was money well spent (and that which was included in my victory judgement meaning the defendant ultimately ends up paying it anyway!)
