I contacted Aaron on July 13, stating that the tree appeared dead, and again on August 2, 2022. I notified him again on September 19, 2022, that the tree was dead or in distress and that I wanted it replaced or my money refunded. On September 22, he said he would come out and look. However, he explained to me that he was just the "frontman" and Eduardo was the actual person who knew about plants/trees. Arron came to my home on September 26 and took pictures to show Eduardo. I also sent several pictures in July, August, and Sept. On September 27, Aaron said the tree might be dormant early because it had no leaves. I stated that the leaves had fallen off 40 days prior, and the tree was dead. He suggested that I wait until this Spring for him to replace the tree. He wrote, "I would not feel comfortable with [tree replacement] until the Spring due to the temperatures at night next week with the wind could be freezing. Then the plant would not survive the winter." Therefore, I contacted him on May 14, 2023 (still Spring), to replace the tree. He said he wouldn't because the tree was no longer under warranty. According to him, the warranty ended May 10, 2023, and I had not notified him about the tree being dead within the warranty time. I was not presented with explanations of the warranty. Nor do I feel it is even a factor since he and I have had continuous contact about replacing the tree since last summer. Most importantly, this individual kept putting me off and coming up with reasons not to replace the tree and then told me he couldn't honor the warranty because I missed the window by four days. Also, upon engaging services, I wrote the check to the company name. Aaron returned the check and asked for it to be made out to him personally. I questioned that and why he was not charging me Ohio Sales Tax. He said he was in the process of switching banks, and he was having problems doing so. He also said he'd 'take care' of 'backing out' the tax. AND Arron kept harping on my cursing! I used the word bullshit. I have filed a complaint with the Ohio Attorney General's Office.

Mostly good, but several workmanship issues…read more Creekside Coverings recently completed our outdoor stair reconfiguration project, transforming our straight stairway into a more functional design with a landing and a 90-degree turn onto a paver patio. While the team finished on schedule, the final result revealed some craftsmanship challenges. The project's core functionality meets our expectations. However, in our opinion, certain details fall short of what we would consider more commonly-used construction practices. Key observations follow. 1. The deck planks on the landing are installed parallel to the support joists. This necessitated the addition of blocking between the joists. The blocking was added after the deck planks were secured to the landing frame. In addition, the decking appears to be fastened only to the landing's frame, without direct attachment to the joists or blocking. 2. The newly-constructed landing appears to have been designed without sufficient attention to detail, in our opinion. The shape of the landing necessitated the placement of an additional railing post adjacent to an existing post on the landing to properly secure the bottom section staircase railing. 3. The two new posts on the new landing are slightly different in size than the original posts, and their caps do not match the existing post caps. The contractor mentioned these items to us after they were already installed on the stairway, and he told us that they would not affect functionality. With attention to the observations above, this would easily be a five star project.

The work was excellent and poured and leveled in one day with follow up work done the next day after it had dried some. A couple of follow up on connection to a brick sidewalk and a small pick hole that popped up unexpectedly. Mark was very responsive in both cases and fixed quickly. Work was excellent, looks great, really like the way it was cut the next day. Overall very pleased with work, the work team's interactions and follow up afterwards.

The old pathway had a steep incline, making it difficult to navigate in winter. The new sidewalk includes a series of steps so that the incline is barely noticeable. The foreman asked for the rest if the payment, half had been paid on the initial request. My wife stepped outside to verify that the job was completed. She checked what she could see and admittedly missed the fact that the crew had completely missed a tree alongside a large brushy tree combo that was never touched. It was pouring hard at the time and she simply did not see it.They had also missed a rose bush in the rear. The crew left and when emailed about their not completing a job they had contracted to do. The tone of the reply was a brusque 'you should have told us when we were there. Thanks for your business. Good bye'. Nice. This is what happens when there is a shortage of decent landscapers in this area. They are so fat in their bookings they could care less about one disgruntled small customer. I find that attitude unprofessional in the extreme. I expect that there excuses will be as predictable as irrelevant. 'We can't be constantly running back to do touch up work.' So their declaration is that they are done when they say they are done, never mind what they were contracted to do. These were not small areas. One area was 5 feet across, the second area was 7 feet across. Did their own foreman bother to check before announcing job completion? Did they care that they had not fulfilled their contact. Obviously not. Bottom line, job contracted and paid for was not completed. All else is noise.
