This place is a hidden gem. The sushi was fresh, rolls were unique, the service was fantastic, and place was cute and cozy. Went there before a concert at the Greek and it was perfect. Chia recommended the best rolls, and all of them were hits. Crispy rice spicy tuna was fantastic

Lovely space with a surprisingly fun happy hour menu. The service was excellent, and I'm honestly surprised it wasn't busier. We enjoyed sitting outside, and street parking was easy to find.

Salmon Sushi

The service here was great. Everyone was very sweet and accommodating. Very calm atmosphere. Food was delicious. Would definitely come back!

Softshell Crab

We were back for our second visit! Chris provided us amazing service, the staff were friendly, food was yummy, and the ambiance was great per usual! The softshell crab was very creamy and delicious, and my personal favorite was the pucker face roll! We also tried their new wagyu A5 surf and turf roll based on Chris's recommendation, and that was quite tasty!

Salmon sashimi, perfection here!

I've been here a few times since they've opened and love it. It's still in its soft opening phase, but this past week they finally got beer and sake. Woo hoo! Let's get to the food though: Salmon Sashimi - 5 stars. The fish quality is excellent and the presentation was beautiful as well. Spicy Tuna Crispy Rice - 5 Stars. The rice is perfectly crisped and the tuna was delicious, all topped with an avocado mousse. Baked Crab & Avocado Roll - 5 Stars. The sushi chef made this for me and it should really be on the menu cause it was excellent! Crunch Roll - 4 1/2 Stars. Quite filling, this was a fun tempura roll that was complex with a great texture to it. The menu is inventive with tons of options, while still having all your classic items, too. The service is always excellent whether you're at the sushi bar or a table, and the ambiance is minimal and chic. Definitely adding this to my rotation of favorite sushi spots in the neighborhood.

Figaro Roll

Stumbled upon this place after an important meeting and absolutely loved it! : service was slow when I came in but that made things even better for me. My waiter was quick, gave great opinions, and funny service. As a person who never really liked sushi these rolls were great! The first one we had was a dragon roll, a classic that they did very well. Our other roll was a baked one called Figaro. It blew my mind. This miso cod that sat on top of the roll felt so smooth on my palette; complimented with the cleansing of the orange koala was perfect. Our roll did take a bit of time to show but we were in no hurry yet they still gave us complimentary miso soup which was great to have between rolls. I will definitely be back again. Thank you.

Second visit! Loving this place from Chris excellent service, and sharing his recommendations, to the music, and the freshness of every menu item, leaves you breathless! Everything is delicious and their oysters are now my favorite item!

First off, the service was phenomenal. We came in a little close to closing time and the host/server had no problem helping us out. We came from a work event that served food for ants, so we were in need of delicious food! So glad we stopped here because the food was not only presentable but sooo good! I love the ambiance and loved the outdoor seating. Super comfy and just overall a great experience.

Today was my first time at Roji and it probably won't be the last. Great vibe, great service! Ordered langostino dynamite and baked salmon. Kinda pricey but also worth it. They do not have hot sake yet or white wine. But it's perfect for lunch.

Absolutely STELLAR! Stopped in at midnight for late (very late!) dinner after taking in a movie. Food was amazing - pure and simple. Service was outstanding. Big shout out to waiter Chris for having a great attitude with such late night diners. (They're open til 1am which is a massive selling point in itself!) Even the music was excellent. Very - VERY highly recommend this establishment.

Sushi is one of my family's favorite meals and based on the numerous five star Yelp reviews, I chose Roji Sushi for my husband's birthday dinner. From the food to the service, Roji Sushi did not disappoint. We dined on the patio and listened to an amazing playlist that I will be sure to ask about the next time I visit. We took our time and ordered an abundance of food. Some of our favorites were the Ceviche Roll (very refreshing), Spicy Tuna Crispy Rice, and Blue Fin Toro sashimi. There were a lot more favorites but too many to name. Without a doubt, we have found our new favorite sushi spot!

Spicy Tuna Crispy Rice aftermath

We stopped by here quickly before a screening at the Los Feliz theater next door. All we ordered was the spicy tuna crispy rice, but this brief dining experience was great and makes me want to come back for more. For about 10 minutes we were the only people inside, but it was Monday night so that makes sense. Another 2 folks ended up coming in after us. The place was clean and the rice came out quickly. Our waiter was soo kind, you know where you can just tell people have a nice genuine aura. He even brought us this little orange bear on the house after we had paid. SO CUTE! Such a nice touch. Definitely recommend stopping by!

wow! i am gluten free and had a wonderful experience. the staff was very accommodating and helpful in pointing me to which items i could have, and the chefs have lots of gluten free sauce options that they use to make swaps. i got the pucker face roll and bluefin tuna sushi, which were both incredible. the roll was so creative and flavorful, and the meal was delicious without being too heavy.

This is the mochi ice cream which was delicious

I give this place 4.5 stars but rounding up to 5 for this review. We've come here a few times now…read moreand have enjoyed our meal each time. The food is excellent, having tried the schnitzel, kielbasa, steak frites and pierogis. If you have room in the end, the bread pudding is fantastic. The portions are big and filling and we tend to end up with leftovers. Drinks menu is big, with a variety of creative cocktails and wines. Vibes are different depending on where you sit. Outdoor patio seating is great, and reminds of eating outdoors in a European cafe. Indoor seating is a little cramped if you're at one of the tables, which also sort of mimics European cafes. My one small knock on this restaurant is the service has been inconsistent. Couple times our waiter was great, but a couple times it was hard to flag them down, they didn't space out the dishes very well as the appetizers and entrees all came out the same time, or they forgot to bring water when we asked for it. Small things to complain about overall though.

Keep here for brunch the other day with my oldest daughter, and we absolutely loved it…read more Little café in a pretty nice location. Plenty of outdoor seating, but they only have a lot four tables and bar seating inside. Had the hash brown cake and the bread and butter and jam to start. The baguette was the average baguette. But the gym was pretty tasty. The hash brown cake is exactly what it sounds like. The hash brown deep-fried into a thick little cake but absolutely tasted amazing. Crispy tasty delicious. I had the breakfast Royale, which is two eggs, bacon, and one pancake. Can't really do wrong with this pancake was light fluffy, and moist. My daughter had the avocado toast with salmon and absolutely loved it. They were busy, but still made sure that we were treated right and service in bartender. We're very attentive.

I've been going to them more and more, and The Lucky Tiki was one I definitely had to try out. First off, I have to praise 1933 group because I have loved every single bar they have revitalized and this one is no different. In keeping with their MO, The Lucky Tiki is a speakeasy with a vintage vibe. I won't give away how to get in but let's just say, it's near the front of Highland Park Bowl. My husband and I didn't have a reservation, but we were able to put our name in and got seated about an hour or so later. I was amazed as soon as I walked in the door! It's just floor to ceiling decorated with everything tiki. So many fun details and even interactive elements that turn on when a particular drink was ordered. That was probably my favorite part honestly. We ordered the Tiki Diablo, which is a large tiki drink with a flaming volcano. And yes it does have an interactive element. It was really good. Very fruity and strong, but not overly so. Service was excellent. Our waitress was on it and even waited to make sure my husband was back from the bathroom before lighting our drink on fire. We didn't try any food this time, but a lot of people were ordering the Hawaiian pizza. Do with that what you may. Will definitely be back ti try more drinks and food. Was the perfect spot for a lively date night!

FYI this place requires reservations, yet they apparently do not honor reservations…read more I have friends coming into town from Greece, so I made a reservation because they love tiki but have no way of experiencing it in Greece, and so they even got aloha shirts to wear. So after having a reservation for weeks, I get a text from this place saying someone booked a private event so my reservation is cancelled. How about instead of accepting $$$ for a private event that will deny customers their reservation, they make the private event work around what is available? Terrible way of doing business, but I hope they get lots of $$$ and engagement for the privileged private event attendees.

Location 4 stars: On Casitas Avenue in a somewhat unexpected residential area in Atwater Village, North of where the 2 and 5 freeways meet. Parking is not difficult. There is limited parking spots upfront but also a large parking lot and Valet parking. Venue 4 stars: Beautiful rustic upscale venue with indoor and outdoor tables and a full bar. Service 4 stars: Friendly, attentive, efficient and helpful staff. Food 4 stars: You can order individually or share a few small and large plates as a group. The theme is modern and eclectic Mediterranean and North African. We ordered the following appetizers and shared them among our group: Muhammara, Meatballs and Octopus Carpaccio. We also ordered the following main plates: Beef Shishlik, Whole Branzino and Prime Short Rib Tagine. For dessert, we ordered the Chocolate & Halva Sundae and the Tiramisu. Everything we had was creative, used fresh ingredients, was nicely plated, and tasted wonderful. Prices are on the higher side, as expected for an upscale restaurant. Drinks 4 stars: Full bar: Creative specialty cocktails, spirits, beer, wine and soft drinks. We had the Pornstar and the White Negroni specialty cocktails. Both were very good. Again, prices are on the higher side, as expected for an upscale restaurant.

To start off the interior is gorgeous and it does not feel like you're in LA. The garden vibes are beautiful. If you can sit outside I would highly recommend doing so. Drink selection is solid and all of our cocktails were just fantastic. The Bridge Bar menu is good value. It comes with an order of the dips and warm fresh pita, for the entree I chose the chicken kabob on a spread of labne and it also came with an ice cream sundae. My favorite item of the night was the crispy cauliflower followed by momo chips and the brussels sprouts. Momo chips are their version of fries served with ketchup and aioli. The brussels sprouts were smothered in olive oil and toasted almonds. The attention to detail in all of their dishes from an ingredients standpoint is definitely there. Kudos to the chefs because they really know what they're doing! Everything we had here was delicious and I will be back!
