When I first moved Oldbury way and needed a trim, I wandered down to Bearwood and into the first hairdressers I came to. Besides, who wouldn't want their hair cut at a salon called 'Rogue'?
Even though it said 'unisex' in the window, the women looked a bit confused at a bloke walking in and asking if he needed an appointment. I didn't, and a young, very amiable girl by the name of Becky ushered me into a chair and gave me a really good haircut. It was so good I would've become a regular there but at the time couldn't stretch to the £13 the haircut cost. I also ruined her good work by shaving it all off on impulse about a month later.
When I've walked past since and glanced in, the place often seems to be catering for older ladies getting their perms touched up, but don't let that put you off even if you're a dashing, going places young buck like me. read more
