It started months and months earlier during my prenatal visits. Jackie is kind. She's very smart. She supports and advocates for natural birth, but she also doesn't push limits into realms that are risky when there are complications. She doesn't mess around trying to do things naturally, when time is of the essence in more emergent situations for example. My birth was very much like that I wanted to have a natural birth at home, but my water broke early, and I was not going into labor. We worked with the doctors at rogue regional to create a plan, so that I could try and get onto labor, naturally but that didn't happen and I was able to partner with her on the best plan of action for getting induced. I'm so incredibly grateful to have worked with her because I didn't get to have the natural birth that I wanted due to the circumstances of my water breaking early but I did have an amazing hospital birth and she was right there at my side along side with my Doula Maddie and a great team at rogue regional. And Jacqie has been beyond phenomenal ever since the birth as well, coming to my home, a few times after the birth to do my check ups. She's been so amazing with my infant son. She's been super available to support me with all the wacky things that come up with a newborn. She has tons of information and she's helped me a lot with breast-feeding and the challenges around it. I cannot recommend Jackie enough. She is an angel.

I did plenty of research on my own before choosing a Mirena IUD but she made sure that I was aware of all the pros and cons of this particular method of birth control. (I'm getting it primarily because I take blood thinners and it can eliminate periods, which would greatly increase my quality of life. ) She also discussed my overall state of health and we discussed scheduling a series of appointments (post insertion check up, a full annual physical, cholesterol, fasting glucose because diabetes runs in the family). Ute is VERY thorough and looks at your overall picture of health. She is focused on you and you alone once she gets in the exam room. One thing I love about seeing nurse-practitioners is that the appointments tend to last longer than with an MD (I still love the MD's here, too, though!) Longer appointments are especially good for women who might not feel comfortable discussing intimate health information within just a few minutes of meeting someone. When it came time for the actual insertion she used some lidocaine jelly which GREATLY eased the discomfort relative to the first time I had an IUD placed. She was patient and let me breathe my way through the rough patches before proceeding. I'm really glad I met her today and I look forward to seeing her again. She's respectful, a good listener, and a great care provider. I've mentioned it before but I'll say it again: We women in Southern Oregon are SO fortunate to have the Women's Health Center. People I'm being held hostage by my Dentist office. La Clinica bills there self as Low Cost Dental…read more Last month I went in for what's called a hard reline for my dentures. I was told that it was going to cost me $100.00 because my Dental Insurance would cover it. I'm already into this Low Cost Dental for 12K out of my own pocket. But I paid the $100.00 because I needed my teeth to fit. The lady that worked on me said Norm this $100.00 will be good for 6 months . It this doesn't work just come back in. If you get another bill just bring it back to me. Well the hard reline didn't work but guess what? I got a new bill for $150.00. When I called to tell them what was said about me paying the $100.00 and not having to pay again. I was told the doctor that help me with the hard reline was wrong. I owe $150.00 because my Dental Insurance won't take care of it. If I pay them another $150.00 it will be good for 6 months. I called my Insurance Co and was told. We can't keep paying for a service if they can't make it right. If I don't pay this $150.00 I will end up with bad credit. So far nothing has worked . I'm out 12k for a piece of crap sitting in my dresser drawer. Not a happy camper. What would you do?
