I located two places and I figured I'd call both to get a "feel" for each shop. The first shop wasn't ingratiating at all. But when I phoned ACE and told them of our recent move and about how we like keeping our vehicles well tuned, it was as if I were talking to an old friend. Kendon welcomed us to Ruston and invited us to "come on down" anytime so we could meet in person. I cannot express enough how professional, kind, personable and helpful everyone at shop is. In my experiences, they go out of their way to make sure we understand what needs to be down to keep the cars purring! Whenever there's been a problem, the guys at ACE are there to remedy the issue-fast! We have full confidence in ACE/Kendon and the entire team! Thank you so very much for everything you've done for our vehicles.

Ask him how long it would take to fix something on my car and an estimate price and he was very rude to me and didn't give me the answers I needed in order to coordinate getting my car fix and my work schedule . He doesn't have but only one mechanic working there . So it takes very long time to even get your car looked at to see what is the problem. And his attitude is not good . I can no longer give my money and be a customer to a guy who doesn't appreciate and treat customers right. He is a very rude person. Especially if you are not someone he seems to be friends with . Had put up with his bad attitude for a while cause no other mechanic place was around ,but I can no longer deal with it and give my hard earn money to a rude guy like this .Customer service is awful at this business .

They kept my car for about a week, and during that time I had to spend a significant amount of money on Ubers and Lyfts because I had no vehicle. I was repeatedly told they were waiting on a part that hadn't arrived. Eventually, they called to say my car was finished. I paid approximately $2,000 and was waiting for them to bring my car around. After about 20 minutes, they came back and told me they actually needed to order another part but I could drive my car for now. The check engine light was still on. It took about another week for that part to arrive. Then I was told it would cost around another $2,000. At that point, I tried to work out some kind of solution or discount with them because of everything that happened. As of the time I'm writing this review, I have not received a response despite attempts to follow up. What disappointed me most was the communication throughout the process. Being told my car was finished, paying for the repair, and then finding out more repair parts were needed. Combined with the delays, additional transportation costs, and the lack of follow-up afterward, this was not the level of service I expected. This review reflects my personal experience. I hope the shop is able to improve its communication and customer service going forward.
