Love this place! A well curated selection of fun and tasty delights. Definitely the spot for all the most import provisions.

I go to the Uptown location. Friendly staff. Great product selection. Cool gifts. If you don't drink, still a great store to visit.

The "art" they sell is the kind that goes on a greeting card or t-shirt. Some booths sell crafts like you can find on Etsy--upcycled clothes and amigurumi or felt toys (which were cute enough but nothing amazing). Others sell imported items. It wasn't always clear if they were fair trade or not. In fact, that was one of the things that bugged me: many booths' lack of transparency on where these items were made/who made them. A lot of items looked mass produced, so it was hard to tell what wasn't. Basically this store exemplifies what happens when you commercialize art. Everything converges under market pressure and ends up looking the same. Personally antique malls are my style. They have a similar concept (many vendors in one space), but much more interesting and greater variety of items.

I was looking online for good deals on wine tasting and came across this place. I'm so glad I went…read moreto check it out! The ambiance is super nice, big windows and plants and lots of wood decor. It has a very local, casual vibe, and many of the people there seem to be regulars. I went for the wine tasting, which they offer every Thursday from 5-7pm. The tasting costs only $5, but it is free with any purchase. We bought the red wine cheese set for around $13, so we got our wine for free. They also kindly cut and arranged the cheese for us, and it was perfect for two people. We got to try four wines: Italo Cescon Pinot Grigio, Schild Estate GMS, Viva Valentina Sangiovese, and Chateau Kefraya Les Breteches. The GMS and sangiovese were definitely my favorite. It was a really great experience! Everyone was really friendly, the price was incredible, and the wine was high quality. I definitely hope to be back here.

This place is super cute and offers something for everyone. From self-service wine tastings (think wine on tap that remains fresh via magic?), to beers chilled in a cooler, to a few beers on tap, a few spirits...did I mention fancy soda's too?!?! Don't miss the bathroom...the "Sunday in the Park" hand-painted mural allegedly has 9 subtle changes that have been modified to reflect the area/owner. And speaking of the owner, Liz, she popped in and within minutes seemed to be making an effort to talk to her patrons - really nice person. I had a grilled goat cheese w/fig sandwich that was awesome! Staff was friendly too. I'll be coming back once I decide which event I want to attend: wine tasting Thursdays, Friday evening bands, Sunday Jazz brunch, or Movie nights.

The staff there is truly into their craft and provide the best time for all their services. I finally got to try their sandwiches after years of coming for their charcuteries and various classes (all of which you truly cannot go wrong with), and they were to die for. We split their classic grilled cheese and the TBB and they were both nothing short of phenomenal. The grilled cheese comes with tomato soup which was delicious, and you're able to choose a side for all their sandwich options (we chose arugula salad, which was perfectly lemony). My one and only suggestion would be to offer a toasted option for the TBB sandwich, but it was also truly great as is - I would definitely get both again! Also a random rec but they carry a pretty hard to find red sparkling wine that is AMAZING - Cleto Chiarli Lambrusco Amaible, must try!

We had great help from Emily as we made selections. Beautiful Rind has a fine variety that included several domestic and import cheeses I hadn't seen before. I would've loved to have gotten some of the soft rind cheeses available, but alas, I was traveling the next day and needed more durable cheeses! I bought four small wedges plus a goat caramel from the counter. I would be glad to return here on another trip to Chicago!
