I had just moved to West Texas from the DFW area and was suffering terrible sinus pain and pressure. I visited family doctor and was put on 2 rounds of antibiotics and steroids without any success. Because of my extensive history with sinus infections and the fact that this was my 9th round trip to the doctor that year, she suggested I try an Ear, Nose, Throat specialist and recommended Dr. Traxel.
I called the extremely helpful front office and had an appointment within 2 days. His office has a funky decor going on, it's in need of a facelift, but hey when you're sick and the office clean, I'm not going to worry about looks! Dr. Traxel took one look in my nose and said, uh huh, you have a deviated septum that I can't even see passed. He was surprised nobody had noticed before. He scheduled a CAT scan and suggested surgery, in the meantime he vacuumed my sinuses and ears to help relieve the pain I was in and gave me some medication.
Even though Dr. Traxel was a great surgeon, I did have some complications and his office fit me in within 15 minutes of my calling.
The billing process is very easy to understand and his office staff does their best to save you money with your insurance.
