Dr. Flake is a very sincere person who enjoys seeing happy patients. I've got my Invisalign here and the doctor provided a very personalized care. The price was very reasonable. In fact, I feel like I've received the service at a discount if I consider the duration and the level of the service. The hygienist is also super thorough. My family and I have been going to Dr. Flake for many years. They have never disappointed us with their professional services and friendly staff. The place is always extremely clean. This was my first time going to Dr. Flake and it was a great experience. Trying a new dentist, especially during COVID had me worried, but Dr. Flake's staff was incredibly welcoming! They all wore both masks and face shields, making me feel very comfortable about having a dental check up. His office is actually I also originally started going to Dr. Flake's office for invisalign treatment. His office is always well kept and tidy. His staff is always considerate and friendly, and the doctor himself is wonderful. He has been practicing for a very long time but keeps up with all the relevant new technology. He has a great memory for his patients, and is very easy to converse with. He is very detail oriented and takes the time to explain things thoroughly, which I really appreciate. Also, I have never been kept waiting for very long, as he is pretty good about staying on top of his appointments. But the referral I received made me feel streseed out cause I thought I'd never get any fillings at al. most of all, X-ray is no fun at all which I don't like it , especially oral surgery, it's absolutely terrible. Simply said: the worst dental experience I have ever had. As a new patient I've been waiting for them to come up with a treatment plan for over TWO MONTHS since I went there for a consultation. I kid you not. They never bother to get in touch, and the best you can get after multiple calls to them is "we'll call you back". Not. The last drop was when I wanted to acquire the x-rays they took, and the receptionist told me that she'll send them *eventually* - as in, I needed them the day of, and she told me that maybe she will send them then, or maybe on Monday. Guess what? It's been over a week ago, and I'm pretty sure I'm not getting those x-rays ever. But my bigger question is: what is so hard about sending emails? Clicking? Double-clicking? My previous dental office (which I had to leave due to my relocation) sent my records to me within minutes. So it's not impossible, believe it or not. And now that I think of it: the office is open only 4 days a week. Isn't it a red flag that they cannot even get enough patients to stay open like normal offices do, 5-6 days a week? A huge waste of time, and money. I am honestly surprised they are still open at all. read more

My second visit went really well. I got some fillings taken care of. There was a different assistant who was very friendly and she and the Doc worked quickly and carefully in my mouth and it was over. It felt really good to get the work done and to be taken such good care of. 06-24-13 Such a bummer to update this review to fewer stars, buuuut, it's not quite the same anymore. All the staff that I knew left shortly after I became a patient. Long timers just kinda quit. The new help wasn't as sincere and friendly. I was sold on Invisalign and was told that it would straighten my teeth to the degree that braces would. After a year's worth of trays, things weren't super straight. No big deal, I'm not in a hurry, but it seems, the Dr is. He said that my bottom trays were done. I was so confused as there was a glaringly evident tooth turned in. I mean, I was sold on "perfectly straight teeth" not "good enough" or "a little bit better teeth". I pointed it out and THEN he said he missed it accidentally. Wait. What? YOU'RE the dentist. I'm counting on YOU to catch this stuff. Why in the world am I in charge of this? Same exact thing with the top, but not as bad....in other words, the crookedness was less obvious, but still visible. He is fixing it, which is nice, but I just don't feel like a Dr should become less interested in the process after the braces are paid for versus the enthusiasm they show when selling you the Invisalign. And, I want a dentist that does as thorough of a job on my mouth as he would to his own children's teeth. read more

I just left the office of Dr. Flake and staff. From the moment I walked into the front door I had a great experience. The two front desk ladies are amazing, very helpful and kind. I made three appointments for myself and my two sons. Our hygienist was Tarah, she made our visit amazing. The vibe in the office is very happy, friendly, and a genuine care for their patients.
