She told us the bride's dad was ticked off because there were no open tables for the family and he "paid for the damn thing." The wedding was really classy and the staff should not have divulged that info to guests, even if it did come straight from the horse's mouth.

It was a well organized event that went smoothly. We had 3 lanes reserved for 2 hours. Our group enjoyed the snack bar and the bar on site. There is also a game room. The staff I encountered were all nice. The restrooms were clean as well as the facility overall. Even though I didn't win, I still really had a fun time!!!! The lanes are tucked away in the back, so you get the entire area to yourselves. One of the best parts is that you can pay a little extra to bring your own food. I definitely took advantage of that because why not? My only complaint is that 2 hours just isn't enough for a full event or party. I would suggest changing to at least 2 1/2 or 3 hours. Other than that, everything went smoothly from booking to check-in. Would definitely recommend for a fun group outing or celebration!

Father son hang out. He wanted disc golf. Son had a friend tag along that's practically mine…read more The 3 of us discussed disc golf options and opted for Inverness as none of us had played there. It's right off 280 in Inverness a half a mile or so before Valleydale. The course had 2 tee boxes blue and red with the latter being the easier of the 2. There are large nice concrete tee boxes at both the red and blue tees on each hole. This is not a beginners course. It's quite hilly with some very narrow fairways. We all tagged a few trees and went deep into the bush on a couple holes. We played all 18 and very much enjoyed the course. It's well maintained. We discovered old pin placements when were searching for our discs on a few holes. Seems as though they're active in maintaining the trails and course and may mix it up a bit. If you go you could almost leave your distance driver in the car. Not a lot of wide open clear shots or gimme holes. There are some baskets on very steep hillsides, on narrow ridges atop steep drops and lots of potential to get wet. I'm not certain if it's one contiguous stream that runs through the course or a series of creeks. On 16 the basket is 10 ft up a steep hillside from a lake. A very well placed log saved my son from losing a disc. It was new to us but we saw a number of people out there today. One large group parked on the side of the entrance and started on 6. There was ample parking and a few trash bins and benches along the trail. We did have to look around a bit for the next hole a couple times. Some tee boxes especially on the back 9 are nearer the tee box from the prior hole so you have to kind of back track, whereas the front nine is generally a marked path that follow the trail. This was probably the one of best course I've found in the Birmingham metro area. We will be back for sure.
