Patty Melt &We came for the golf. We did not come for a culinary revelation. And yet…read more Mother's Day at Topgolf Birmingham -- sunshine, bays full of laughter, cold drinks, the satisfying thwack of a well-struck ball. We were deep into the fun when hunger hit, and I'll be honest: when we picked up the menu, our expectations for the food were somewhere between "stadium nachos" and "edible." We ordered anyway. What arrived changed the conversation entirely. The patty melt. Let me walk you through it. A genuinely great burger -- thick, juicy, seasoned with the confidence of someone who actually cares -- blanketed in a molten combination of American and pepper jack cheese. Caramelized onions, slow and sweet. A secret sauce that earns its mystery. Crunchy, creamy slaw for contrast. And then, the move: served on upside-down buns, which sounds like a gimmick but lands as genius -- the toasted crown becomes the base, the structure holds, every bite stays together. This is a burger built by someone who has thought deeply about burgers. The fries matched the moment. Hot, seasoned properly, zero complaints. Service was leisurely -- this is Topgolf, not a drive-through, and the kitchen is clearly cooking with intention rather than speed. On a perfect outdoor day with good company, the wait registered as background noise. The vibe here is already the whole point: fresh air, laughter echoing across every bay, people genuinely having fun together. The food used to be the footnote. The patty melt just became part of the headline. A rare, unreserved 10/10. Fries -- Mother's Day Visit

Since then they have added and improved a great deal of things to this place! I have been going to this gym for over 5 years now and have absolutely loved it. The staff are all super kind and willing to answer questions and the head manager is always ready to answer anything too. When you first walk in you have the open area along with the day care room on your right and then you have the front desk and next to that is the smoothie bar! I have come to it to get plenty of Protein packed drinks to help refuel myself after a workout. They have a large variety of machines and freeweights on the ground floor on top of many other amazing options too. Upstairs you will have a more private workout area that is smaller and a vast majority of the cardio machines. Downstairs in the main area you will have the racket ball room, the workout/class room, the cycling room, the media room with a giant cinema screen to watch while working out, the pool area along with 24e's own version of crossfit in the room behind it. What is also awesome about the place is that they both come with spacious restroom and locker rooms. Fully equipped with showers and plenty of body wash or shampoo if needed. The guy's area comes with a sauna and a steamer room and I believe the women's rest room/locker room comes with a sauna as well.
