Service department is completely in disarray. Made appointment on 7/7/ for 8/4/26 showed up on…read more8/4/26 and submitted numerous warranty items. Service writer wrote it all up and said they would try to get it done sooner but expected date of completion would be 9/4/26 as written on my invoice. BRP Can Am manufacturer called me and asked why I would leave my brand new Rig at a dealership for a month and not use it until my appointment? I immediately called Birds Or Prey and was told rudely I signed the paperwork saying it wasn't being looked at until 9/4/26. I have of the paperwork in hand clearly showing date promised 9/4/26 service writer rudely told me to come pick up my rig if I didn't want to wait. Treated me rudely because they made a mistake and refused to admit it. Talked to manager when I went and grabbed my Rig, his response? Sorry but everyone I dealt with in July was fired or quit and he only has 2 techs and can't do anything about it. He also said he was locked out of the appointment program by the previous manager who got fired. What a joke of a way to run a business.

Not only was the price very fair and reasonable, but the delivery and on-site (my garage) set-up was as smooth as silk. In fact, Jacob spent about an hour adjusting the deck and other specifications. I can't say enough about how pleased I'm with Woody's. Bill Whelan

We use the fuel for all our small equipment - no issues. Sand in the gas is not covered under warranty, but Firman agreed to split the cost by covering new parts and we cover labor. We could live with that. After no call back from Ed for over 3 weeks we finally picked it up to have the exact same issues! Firman agreed to replace our generator due of the horrible service we endured with Ed.

I tried Carlson Small Engine because of the lack of negative reviews, he was more convenient than…read moresome places since he's in the middle of Caldwell, and since he was available and answered the phone or called back pretty quickly, and his hourly rate was more reasonable than most these days. And I love that's he a young entrepreneur, and he's doing a practical job to fix things with his hands to help support himself/ his family and help reduce waste in our disposable mindset culture. And when you talk to him, it becomes clear that he has a generally good attitude and is customer-service oriented. I also greatly appreciated that he was patient with the extra time it took me to take the info he gave me and research more, and ask more questions, etc., to make sure I felt comfortable with the work that would be done, and the end price of $120ish was pretty reasonable, in my opinion, to repair a 10-year old Briggs and Stratton mower engine that had started leaking oil profusely when running and hot. I and my children have now used it a few times to mow the yard and it's working great! it seems a little harder for me to pull the starter cord than it did before, but it could just be me, because the children didn't say anything about anything being challenging in any way. They zipped right through mowing like they usually do. He gave me a heads up that he was in the middle of working on a side by side or something when I dropped it off just before July 4, so it took him a few days to give me an initial estimate. Then it took days before I got back to him with the holiday and visiting my mom elsewhere and everything. once I felt comfortable and paid Sam for the invoice, which he sent electronically through email, it was only a few more days before he told me it was done. A few other places I called were booked out at least a couple weeks before I could even drop it off, and it got checked out and repaired while I was elsewhere, so I wasn't home to mow anyway. And other places' hourly shop rates were definitely more! The whole experience was MUCH better than throwing away an inexpensive and repairable mower and then buying a new mower for 3 or 4 times the price of what I paid for repairs or for that mower when it was new, especially when a new main gasket and new spark plug and sharpened blade breathed new life into my current (basic but reliable) Weed Eater brand mower (yes they made a mower back in the day lol!!!). I had just barely changed the air filter so that wasn't needed. Sam answered all my concerns and gave me time to research others' use or not of RTV on the gasket, explained how his invoicing and payment processes worked in advance, etc. and I got it back cleaner than it's looked in years lol. Overall positive experience and I'll definitely take that or another mower to him in the future for repair or maintenance!
