Miguel was great! When we called, he picked up right away, saw our yard the next morning to give us a quote. Had his guys out there 1 hour later and they did an amazing job! We thought it would take them 2 hours to complete, they were done in 1hr and 10 minutes. Highly recommend! read more

So far so good! They worked well within the budget I had and gave me a range of options with various prices. The clean up was better than I expected. Have them scheduled for maintenance 2x a month now. Will update my review if all goes well. For just cleanup I'd give 5 stars, but waiting to see how the regular maintenance goes, which has always been a problem with other companies. read more

Loved that he showed up in like 25 minutes and took a look at what we wanted done. Owner left, this was on Sept 25, telling us that he'd send us an estimate. Today is Oct 7 and we have never received his written quote! I emailed him via this site on Oct 3 and asked why but never received a response back. He was quick to arrive but apparently did not want the job, which is fine but why waste our time? Why not just tell us that? What's wrong with "businesses" that treat potential customers so badly? He could have made up to $400 - $500 with this job! Such a shame when we were interested in getting our sprinkler system fixed. Luckily we found another company that came out, did their quote and was back in three days to do the job that only took them 3 hours with four guys! read more

My yard looked terrible after Miguel and his crew were done it looked so nice. It was a big job making my yard livable again. Miguel's price was very reasonable and he took into account of my living on a fixed income and worked with me on payment's. I would strongly recommend Miguel and his Rodriquez Landscaping crew to anyone I know that needs a job done, with confidence that will be done well. read more

I am satisfied with their work. They come the day scheduled every week, unless the weather is bad. I've been using them for 5 years now and haven't had any problems. They are very reliable and do a good job, and they even put in new sprinklers and new plants if requested for a reasonable price. I recommend them to anyone who wants a reliable gardener. read more

Miguel and his guys did an amazing job on my backyard! They installed sprinklers, prepped the lawn, and then installed the sod. I am more than happy with how it turned out. He also fixed my sprinklers in the front that had broken for no additional costs! I was so happy to have him work on my yard. He communicated with me every step of the way and was always available for questions. They worked on the yard for about 5 days total over a span of 2 weeks. We had top soil brought in because our dogs had dug a lot of holes and we had a lot of weeds. I am so happy with his work and would recommend him to anyone considering doing a project. His pricing was very reasonable!! I couldn't find anyone who even came close to what he did. Thank you Miguel! read more

Hello everyone, I hope this review helps you as much as Miguel helped me. He came to my home, gave me a very reasonable price and delivered professional results. As you can see in the pictures, we had an eyesore for a hill in our back yard and they turned it into a place where my family can relax and spend quality time together. If you want a project completed, the right way you want a fair price, call these guys up. You won't regret it. read more

They do all my yard services and do a fantastic job. In addition, they did some concrete work for my house as well. Professional Team and great communication throughout the project. I would recommend this company for your services as the prices are competitive and the owner works with you. read more

Poor communication. Would not supply an invoice. Ask for money up front. Once received, horrible professionalism but Johnny on the spot if he's collecting. Planted leaves in ground to make it look like a full plant. Took 1.5 months to do an average sized front yard. Would not recommend. End product was decent but a lot of cut corners that you will pay for later. Have him present an invoice and pay him at the end. Don't make my mistake read more

Great customer service- I contacted Rodriguez Landscaping on Saturday and they came out for a quote the very next day. A few days later, they came out and worked on our yard. They were able to fix my sprinklers and clean the weeds from our yard all the same day. Any time I've contacted them, they replied right away almost like text messaging. I'm really happy with the service and will definitely use them again for any lawn work needed. I would definitely recommend them. read more

The owner was really helpful and helped me make my backyard presentable again! I look forward to working with them again on my future rental properties. I love the new look of my houses!!!!! read more

Miguel and his guys are very fast and efficient. I got the original quote within minutes and he came out to see what needed to be done. Figured out a budget and they got to work the very next day. His guys come every week and our lawn has never looked better. We went from dead grass and dirt to a beautiful lush green lawn. I would definitely recommend him to others. Extremely satisfied. read more

I would like to say, that Rodriguez Landscaping showed up today on time and ready to work, Miguel and his team did a fantastic job helping me out with my backyard, front, side yards, and sprinklers. The only reason why I am giving them a 4 out of 5 opposed to 5/5 is because there was a break in communication after meeting Miguel on Thursday. But over all I am incredibly happy with the hard work they did today and it shows! read more

Miguel did a great job with my hill. Provided great design suggestions. we went with a great tropical theme, I can come in my backyard and enjoy looking at it. Gives my backyard a finished look. read more

After my old Landsaping person took off with the payment and kept telling me he would come do the yard "the following weekend" over a month has gone by and nothing so I got on Yelp and requested quotes with all the landscaping companies near me and everyone was booked. I noticed that Rodriguez Landscaping had fewer stars but a lot of good reviews as well so I decided to give him a shot and crossed my fingers lol ....Well I'm glad I did! Miguel replied to me right away and was at my house within an hour ready to give me an estimate. He also told me his crew was actually finishing another job by me and he knew I was desperate to have my yard done today so he called his crew and was able to squeeze me into their schedule. 15 mins later I see a truck pull up with 2 guys. They unloaded the truck and got to work right away. He was also helping them so there were a total of 3 guys doing my yard. I was a bit nervous not going to lie because of the stars they had but I can honestly tell you I ended up hiring them for weekly service because I loved their job! I also tipped each one of them because they worked so hard and fast and were still able to do such an amazing job. I will attach some before and after pictures, and to the Rodriguez crew I wanna say THANK YOU!!!! Thank you for coming to the rescue and making my house look normal again! I don't have to hide from my neighbors anymore Lol you guys are awesome .... 5 STARS!!!! Well deserved! read more

Horrible "customer service" never replied to inquiry after asking me when was a good time to come access the job, no wonder your yelp is so poor. Save yourself the time and go with another company! UPDATE-Funny how you respond within 30 mins of my review but couldn't answer before. AGAIN your company sucks! read more

One time deal, not recommend to anyone of this company, very poor communications with clients, they do what they think good for u not what u want...... if u questioning, u will get hundreds excuses, and they will not change their mindset for what they think is good for u. read more

Mr. Rodriguez dodges all the time. Does not accept responsibilities with bad business practices.

Miguel did the guys forget to do my yard because of Memorial Day. i

No reviews yet so I'll be the first to start. I called Rodriguez Landscaping along with several other landscape companies and selected Rodriguez to hardscape my front yard. Miguel showed up and I was pleased with his approach and professional opinions for the design. He and his crew did a great job and a reasonable price, so much that I called them back again to hardscape the backyard. All expectations were met above and we are very happy with the work they did read more

Never showed up! I scheduled for Saturday morning, waited, waited and waited. Sent a message asking if he was running late but no response. It's OK to run late or end up with scheduling conflict, but at least call or send a message saying just that. Very unprofessional in my opinion. That was a waste of time . read more

Had Miguel and crew perform a large yard cleanup including plant pruning, tree trimming and mulching. Very happy with the results.

People can be pretty tough with reviews. One star for not returning a phone call??? No problems on my part. Got great service at a reasonable price. read more

He quoted us 500.00 to "get our yard back into shape including sprinkler repair" he came one time for 5 hours left a mound of weeds in the yard for three weeks. We had agreed on monthly yard service as well. He showed up twice, mowed and blow was what he provided when we agreed to full service. He repaired one sprinkler and said he could not come back anymore. He does not have the tools to preform landscaping services. We have now hired a "real landscaping" company. We lost 500.00 behind this guy. It averages out to 100.00 an hour for nothing. read more

We agreed upon his more expensive price for the initial clean up of our overgrown yard. He came on a saturday with one additional worker to do this and did a good job except for a broken sprinkler head that they mowed over and did not fix. We then set up standing appointments for every other friday morning for maintanence of our front and back yards. He came the first agreed time late after we texted him to see why he wasn't at our home at the agreed upon time. He blocked the broken sprinkler head his team broke off last time and mowed and edged and insisted we pay for the month then (which was the first time he had come for the month). Did not trim the bushes nor weed the planters. At the next agreed upon time we texted him per his request 2 days before our appointment to remind him. He said he did not have time to go to our appointment and would reschedule for the following monday. His team never showed up. We texted and got no response. Texted again the next day to let him know we no longer need his services and went with a more reliable company. Don't go with this company if you want reliable service. We found a new company for slightly more that has fixed the sprinkler his team broke, and is coming weekly and doing a much better job. H&R saved the day. read more

Stay Away, never did what he said. The workers only mowed and did not cut trees or trim bushes or clean planters as indicated by owner. Texted him and he stated "who is this"? What great customer service... not. so disappointed. Also his team used our electricity to plug in their microwave... never gave use money for the used electricity. Didn't even ask to use our plugs. What if it would have shorted our box. Also, mowed over two sprinklers... did not fix and water bill cost $$$$ due to lack of professionalism. Please stay away. read more

Not happy! Does not keep his appointments. I had an appointment set up and one hour before the gardener sends me a message saying he can't come! This is not how you run a business! I will definitely not recommend this gardener to no one! Why ask a customer for the address, message back and forth, making appointments if can't keep the word! I run a business myself and I don't make appointments if I can't make it! This company is not a good business! read more

Beware of Mr. Miguel Rodriguez, operating as Rodriguez Landscaping with Contractor License Number 967709. Mr. Miguel Rodriguez undertook to start and complete a landscaping project for us for the contract price of $8,000.00. Mr. Miguel Rodriguez demanded and received $2,000.00 on three (3) successive occasions for a total amount of $6,000.00. But he failed to complete the landscaping project despite our almost daily requests. He and/or his worker has not come back, leaving behind a landscaping project that is only 65% done. He is nowhere to be found and we have been unable to contact him. Beware of Mr. Miguel Rodriguez and his unscrupulous and unprofessional dealings. We are going to file complaints against him with the Department of Consumer Affairs Contractors State License Board (CSLA) - State of California and the Better Business Bureau. We will also contact Wesco Insurance Company for the damage he has done to our swimming Pool Solar pipe. read more

I asked for a quote to remove a bunch of trees and shrubs. Miguel came today and gave me a fair price but what I liked was it was hassle free. He looked and told me what he could do and actually told me to come up with a budget if I couldn't do it all right now. Nice friendly guy. Things happen in the past but at least give Miguel a chance. I'm waiting on two other estimates before I make my decision but if I do go with someone else it's nothing Miguel did wrong. Well as God would have it, I've had issues with my past irrigation guy and so I have now hired Miguel to deal with my irrigation system and all needs for my new pool. Miguel came out yesterday spent some time at the house talked about what we're gonna need and I called him back today he's going to take care of an issue that was left by the other guy for a fraction of the cost that it would've been charged by the other person. MIguel is more than fair and always answers his phone. I've been more than happy with the customer service that Miguel has provided throughout this process and when Miguel came yesterday he remembered the original job that I got a quote from him for which was almost a year ago. He knew everything about my yard when he came back even though he's been here one time. I look forward to working with Miguel in the future and having him be a part of our backyard process when we get our pool. read more

No response. I mean if you can't provide the service then just say so. It's unprofessional for a business to be "ghosting" customers.

Beware! Does not do the job you hire him for. Shows up when he wants to. Does not keep appointments. Always has an excuse why he can't come to finish the job. Keeps telling me to be patient. I hired him in March of 2017, it is now July 2018 and job is still not complete. He asked for 50% of the job cost up front which is against the law. I also requested every 2 week maintenance of my property and they showed up ONCE! I should not have to keep calling to have the job completed. I am FED UP. Small claims court is my next step. I DO NOT RECOMMEND read more
