Don't. No seriously, don't even think about it. Do you care about your well being? Do you care for the family that might stay here with you? I don't care how broke you are, work some overtime or skip a few meals on your trip and get a room at a Holiday Inn for the extra $40 a night. Not joking.
- I'll start with the good however. Front desk people are nice. Old man who cleans the rooms is a sweet heart. Does a great job in his role.
- Now, everything else that is possible wrong. Just go look at the pictures I attached. Probably hasn't been updated since 1984. Walked in, smells like mold and cigarettes in the hallways, and the stench is also in your room. The outside looks like it might fall apart. The disgusting people this place attracts is frightening. I never lock my truck, ever. When staying at the Rodeway Inn, it was the first time in my LIFE I locked my truck. There is homeless walking around the parking lots, and the people staying there aren't that far off. I actually even used the padlock for the door in the room, have never felt this unsafe.
- My bedsheets we're dirty with stains. Dust everywhere. The water in the shower also doesn't get hot, only luke warm temperature. After seeing other reviews about bedbugs, I checked my bed for an hour looking for bedbugs. I didn't find any signs of them, but it certainly didn't help me get a good nights sleep when you continually think bugs are crawling on you.
- Back to the "people" who stay there. Losers. Letting their kids run around the hallways at 11:30 PM screaming. Control your kids Susan, maybe don't have 4 of them if you can't control them. Also, some older lady was complaining to the owner about the lower entry door being "wide open". Listen hunny, don't stay at a $35 a night motel if you wanna feel safe.
- The only places around are an Arby's, McDonald's, and a Sheets. There's kinda nothing else to eat.
Now, I never ever write reviews. Covid probably hit these people hard, so I shy away from writing reviews. But seriously, get your sh*t together. I actually felt so strongly to save other travelers, I HAD to write this. Are you a hardworking man taking his loving family on a trip? Don't stop here. Be a man and spend the extra money on a Marriott or something. Are you a man or woman with any self respect? Good! Then get yourself set up in a better place that you deserve.
- I also wouldn't write this review if I thought this place would eventually be successful, but there is only 2 directions this place can go. Either it has to become an "hourly" motel (because it's already halfway there) or complete renovation that isn't worth it. Better off just selling the property to a better company and letting them demolish the place and start over. read more
