I…read morewas told several times it was almost ready or it would be ready on a certain day only to hear nothing back on said day. Finally got the truck back only for it to break down not even an hour later. We had to call to get it towed back to the shop. The mechanic admittedly didn't tighten the distributor cap, which lead to the timing being messed up. Also, the fuel line was installed twisted and wouldn't allow gas to flow properly. These things were fixed after 2 weeks of the truck sitting at the shop. We've had the truck back about 2 weeks and now the fuel pump went out. The new fuel pump that they just installed!!!! The manager also admitted to one of his mechanics burning up the first distributor, this was his excuse for it taking so long in the first place. $4,000 later and the truck is not running. I would not recommend this place at all!!

It was hard to…read morecontact Mr. Edwin at his shop near me even when he replied "ok" when I told him I was bringing my car in. He almost had me paying for parts that I didn't need because he claimed that he had looked under my hood when he hadn't. The labor cost he quoted this time was high. When I suggested leaving off part of the repair work to bring the cost down and asked for a quote, he didn't even bother to respond. I found an auto repair that will do the job for half the labor cost quoted by Mr. Edwin of Erazos Auto Repair in Humble.

I went to him a few times in the past and he was always honest and did the job right. His repair shop is relatively small and he says that it's usually "first come, first serve", so make sure to call ahead or try to schedule something with him. I really liked the fact that when I called him when I live outside of Houston, he still gave me helpful mechanical advice, even though we both knew I would be unable to come get the repair done at his shop. I recommend him/his shop and hope that he keeps up the good work! (I know he will)

I've been going to Ronnie's Auto Repair for a number of years. He's a great mechanic, and he offers…read morereasonable pricing that is often significantly less than what other mechanic shops charge. Ronnie knows his stuff! Recently, I was having an issue with my front end rattling real bad. If I was at a stoplight with the vehicle running my vehicle would shake vigorously. When I took my car to Ronnie, he sat in my car to diagnose the problem and said, " You need new motor mounts." He gave me a price on what it would cost to put new motor mounts on my vehicle. Fast forward sometime later and I was in Meineke getting my oil changed. While I was at Meineke I asked them to check my motor mounts, so I could compare pricing. To my astonishment, the Meineke mechanic said my motor mounts were fine, and it was the shocks and something else that was causing the vigorous shaking. Who was right and who was wrong? Well, it would turn out that Ronnie was right, because once I purchased the motor mounts and had him put them on, the shaking stopped. My ride is sitting smooth again, while idle. Ronnie is a good guy, a honest mechanic, and his shop is the only shop that I trust to handle my vehicle repairs.
