Complete blast of an attraction, located right at the top station of the Oeschinensee Gondola.
It's a modest-sized alpine coaster track carved into the mountainside, with unbelievably gorgeous views and a touch of reckless danger. You get towed up to the top aboard a one-person (I think you can squeeze a small child in front of a parent) plastic sled, armed only with a brake lever and your wits. You then slide down a metal quarter-pipe track, with a healthy number of twists and turns.
Watch your speed and make sure to lean into the turns, because it *is* possible to go flying off the track and get hurt.
All ages welcome. read more
