Nothing else worked out, they didn't care about a mouse, so I am very appreciative Greenwood was able to appease this whacky person who wanted to save a mouse. They are supposed to send me an update about Junior after a few weeks, I am still waiting, and if he does make it and get released, he will have a much greater outdoor experience out there in Longmont than he ever would in the city of Denver. I hope to get good news about him someday, but even if not, I still won't regret trying to save the little mouse that I fell a little bit in love with.

Upon arrival, we were met by a beautiful young woman named Shannon. She was helpful and friendly. They immediately took the squirrel and started assessing him. They didn't charge me anything but I did voluntarily donate 80 dollars to help defray the costs.

Friends of ours adopted two of these puppies and are thrilled. None of them complained about the contract or the process because they understood adopting a dog should not be taken lightly. What these people do is very hard work and is done only out of the love they have for saving the lives of the dogs they help. I have seen complaints here of the long adoption process which is ridiculous. If you care about the lives of these dogs you want to find solid, responsible homes for them. You should be concerned with any rescue organization that will just hand you a pup with no questions asked. Those are the ones you need to be wary of - not Innocent Paws whose process is very responsible and thorough! I have and will continue to refer friends and family to this wonderful rescue.
