Thank you for putting a huge chocolate eating grin on my friends face...she said the truffles were the best ever and the little frogs were just irresistible! The customer service is the best! The chocolates were packaged with care and delivered by courier the very same day, plus I got a call and email to make sure everything was received in good order....fantastic! You've got a customer for life... can't wait to stop by some day to taste them for myself!

They offered our dog a cute spoonful of ice cream, which she loved. Staff were really friendly and willing to answer any of our questions. Their hot chocolate was rich and really sweet. I think the flavor is so concentrated that you could dilute it with more milk, but otherwise it was quite good. Their gelatos were all so good. I got the mango, strawberry, and honey lavender. The flavors were nicely concentrated and I really enjoyed it.

The girl at the register gave me an extremely disrespectful look. The prices seem to be sturdy enough and we paid our dues for the product like I would at a grocery store or Baskin Robbin's. The poor behavior was unnecessary- I'd be generous to say she even had said one sentence to me besides my total due.

The salted caramel chocolate dipped pretzel sticks were a bit spendy, and the caramel was a bit crystalline, so I'd pass on those next time. All the chocolate truffles we tried were good but our favorite was the bourbon caramel. We grabbed an ice cream sandwich, but accidentally selected a gluten-free one. Too bad because I'm not a fan of most gluten-free cookies. Service was good. We never felt rushed, even when we were sitting on the patio while they were closing for the day.

It wasn't too chocolatey, but the whipped cream was nice. We were disappointed by the almond croissant. It wasn't particularly buttery, fluffy, flaky, or warm. I'm not sure if warming up is an option, but I definitely would have liked to have had it warmed and maybe it's a thing they could be offering every time. We found it to be pretty flat and lacking taste. Yes, it did have almond paste inside but I would not get this again. It looks like a few people around us got quiches, so maybe that would be some thing to try if you're looking for a breakfast bite. We overheard someone say that the oat muffin was one of the best oat muffins they've ever had in their life, so maybe check that out instead. The location is right across the trail entrance for the "Hole in the Wall" hike. Upon entering, you'll be basked in the delicious smell of caramel/toffee/burnt sugar. Their most popular items are the various nut brittles, but they also sell caramel corn, popcorn mixes, sugared almonds, homemade chocolate, fudge, and ice cream. Brittle types included sesame, cashew, peanut, almond, pecan, and macadamia, and they come in either bags (~$7-8.49) or tubs (~$17). We tried the mixed brittle, which has a variety of nuts (but no sesame) plus coconut. It's simply amazing and so addicting. If you think you'll want 1 package, buy more; you won't be able to get enough! I also bought a tub of caramel corn, a bag of sugared almonds and 3 pieces of homemade chocolate to try. The chocolate is $32/lb ($34/lb for sugar free). They were ok, perhaps a bit overpriced as 3 pieces ended up costing $5. The caramel corn is also light, crispy, and addictive, and I haven't opened the sugared almonds yet. I'd highly recommend stopping here if you are in the area or driving to/from Tofino. Your friends and family will also love you for this deliciously addictive souvenir!
