I was looking for a few flavors which seemed to be out of stock. There was a nice stock person who was working in the aisle and I asked him if there were more flavors in the back. He used his hand held radio to inquire with another worker and confirmed that they were out of stock. The other worker came over and reconfirmed that they were out. While I was disappointed that I couldn't purchase the flavors that I wanted, I did find some others to buy and appreciated the customer service from the 2 employees.

It had clearly gone bad and I had to throw the entire thing away. What made it worse was that the "best by" date wasn't until the following day, so there was no reason to think there would be an issue when I bought it. Whole Foods is typically a store I associate with higher quality and freshness, which made this especially off-putting. I hope it was just a one-off bc I'd be devastated if I couldn't shop there again. I have faith it was just bad luck - stay tuned for a follow up review soon

I had a very disappointing experience with an employee named Tracy at the self-checkout area…read more I was checking out and trying to start a second transaction, but I was having trouble clearing the screen. Since I wasn't sure how to proceed, I asked Tracy for assistance. Instead of coming over to help, she stood several feet away and repeatedly yelled, "Remove your items from the register!" Because I am a customer, not an employee, I didn't immediately understand what she meant. There was nothing on the scanner, so I was confused. Rather than calmly explaining the issue or coming over to assist, she continued raising her voice and repeating the same instruction. The situation became embarrassing, as other customers could hear her. I finally asked her to stop yelling and please come help me. When she eventually came over, it became obvious that I simply didn't realize she was referring to the items I had already paid for that were sitting on the bagging area scale. Even after realizing I was confused and genuinely needed assistance, her attitude remained rude and dismissive. She walked away without offering any further help. As I was leaving, I told her that she hadn't been very helpful and that I simply needed assistance because I don't work there. Her response was a sarcastic smirk followed by a rude "Bye-bye." I found her behavior unprofessional, disrespectful, and completely inappropriate for someone assigned to assist customers at self-checkout. I felt as though I was being scolded for doing something wrong when I was simply asking for help. Customer service should involve patience, courtesy, and a willingness to assist people who are unfamiliar with the self-checkout process. I hope management addresses this issue, as no customer should be made to feel embarrassed or treated this way when asking for help.

If you've ever been there, you know the good stuff goes fast. I was asking in advance of going there because I had just had oral surgery the day before and wouldn't have made the extra stop had they not had that product. The woman who answered the phone said she would check for me. She left me hanging for over 6 minutes, so another person answered and said he couldn't check because he was the only person there!??? Saturday?? He wa going to ask someone else, I think, because he also left me on hold. I continued driving there, hoping they actually had the product. When I arrived I was STILL on hold and all check stands had a checker. So the person I spoke to now lied to me. The original woman never got back to me. Luckily, they had the coconut water. When I went to purchase from the male checker, I explained the situation and was upset that no one got back to me and was lied to by him or another male employee that he was the only one there. He just mumbled something. It gets worse. A manager (I assumed) came to talk to him about his cash drawer or something like that. I tried to tell her what had happened and she totally brushed me off and wouldn't even look at me, again, mumbling something and continued on with what she was doing. I left fuming and I am a good customer for certain items because they are very close to my house. No apologies for keeping me on hold and maybe explaining that maybe they tried but were too busy....NOTHING!!! No "What is the problem?" "Can I help you?" An apology would have sufficed. Something so simple. So today, I give them 5 Stars for ignoring customers! Great job!

It's awesome to have a familiar store in the area - one I know I can find almost any ingredient I need. On this day I was NOT making anything from The French Laundry cookbook, so I easily found what I needed, including some bomb-awesome red raspberries. I finished them in one sitting and no, I didn't bother to wash them. If you've been in one Vons before, navigating the layout in any other Vons is a piece of cake. Plus I'm not embarrassed to ask for help. Just because it's corporate grocery doesn't mean the products and services are the same, but I keep my grocery jaunt expectations low so I'm not disappointed. I found everything where it was supposed to be. No help. Checkout wasn't busy. Service was friendly and with a smile. The store was nicely arctic, so I was super happy. Parking is abundant, but as the holidays creep, it does get busy because this little shopping center is packed with busy type of businesses. Nothing to criticize here...except I'd sure love to pack up some of the glorious arctic a/c and bring it home with me. Especially today given we're expecting 100° weather. It's unexpectedly large for a place by the shore, and I was thrilled because even though I checked Yelp and Google, I couldn't find much info.
