I've already bout some equipment from them and honestly they have helped me and my father get an understanding of the landscaping businesses. Totally would recommend. October 31, 2025. One star is generous! They go through the motions when you leave the equipment, after a deposit of $65 for fixing a Husqvarna trimmer! Gets parked there for a week, then when picked up the thing still does not run. Run for few seconds there, at home would not start regardless. Claim it went through a ten point inspection that added another $96 to the bill!! But all replaced was the fuel lines. Just like car dealerships service, they got the scam act down path! read more

When I called them, they said yeah come and get it. When I went in I paid the $150 bill first. They then found out they had given my mower to someone else! Instead of resolving the issue by reimbursing me the cost, they told me they would get my mower back. After several weeks and failed attempts to retrieve my mower, they said oh well we tried. Any time I've ever dropped off something to be repaired, I have certain expectations from the repair company: 1. Diagnose the problem 2. Notify me what the cost will be to repair the item Neither of these things occurred. I dropped off my pressure washer to be repaired after being unable to start it. Hearing nothing after a week and a half, a called for a status update. I was told that it needed the carburetor replaced, but it was on back order. I wasn't told what this would cost and my fault for not asking. Another week goes by and I call again. Still waiting on the carburetor, but they said they may be able to get their hands on a rebuilt one. A few more days go by and I call again. This time they tell me that they received the carburetor, but still need to install it. They will call back when this happens, (btw, after each call to them they said they would call me back later that day, the next day, etc., --never happened). Finally they call back a few days later and said that the motor is running, but it needs a new water pump. I finally ask what am I up to in repair costs and what's it going to be with the new cost of installing a water pump. He states they'll call me right back with that information. Never received a call back. Four days later, I call and ask the same question. The bottom line is that the repairs will exceed the cost of me buying a new pressure washer. Over a month has gone by. At this point I begin to state my displeasure with the lack of communication, specifically my two required expectations and more specifically, what is it going to cost for the repairs. 1. They never called to tell me that they needed to replace the carburetor, (I called them) 2. They never told me what it would cost to replace the carburetor "Jay" begins to argue with me and claims they did both those two things. I know for a fact, they did not. Then he accuses me of making all this up to get out paying for the repairs! How insulting! Again, I try to explain to Jay that if he communicated to me what the potential repair costs would be, I could have told him to proceed or forget about it. But I was never afforded that option. We went round and round with him telling me he kept me informed---of course he didn't. I finally said that the bottom line was, because of his lack of communication and the repair costs exceeding the price of a new pressure washer, that I was bailing. He then hung up on me. This place was the most unprofessional, disrespectful, and irresponsible company I've ever had the displeasure of working with. My recommendation would be to stay away from Rockledge Mower and Service. Oh, I forgot to mention they charge a $60 service fee to drop off the item, so I'm out $60 and a nonfunctioning pressure washer. read more

I dropped off my Honda mower 7/5/24 for routine service, paid my $60 shop fee and asked if they could tighten the wheels as they seemed wobbly. After waiting more than two weeks and being told parts were ordered, I called on 7/23 and told them that I could not wait any longer and that I would be in to pick up my mower as my grass had not been cut in 3 weeks. On 7/24 I stopped in to pick up my lawnmower, and was told no work had been done on it, and was told I would have to pay for the parts that had been ordered and not yet arrived, (which would be over $200) + installation. Surely these could have been returned to where they had been ordered from if they were genuine Honda parts and any restocking fee could have been covered in my routine service. When I asked what the additional charge would be to have them installed, there was no answer. Thankfully they handed my credit card back when I said that I would leave it for them to finish since the parts were supposedly shipped on 7/17. I asked them to call me when the parts came in, and again when the lawnmower would be ready. I do not expect to hear from them anytime soon. The more I thought about it, the more abused I felt. So here I am being held hostage by very expensive parts that they ordered without my knowledge or consent, that I would have to pay for, + the cost to install them + the cost to do the routine service. I decided to loose my $60 shop fee and my 5 year old lawnmower rather than be held hostage to pay who knows what to get my old lawnmower back. I wish that I had read the many negative reviews. I am writing on Yelp because they have no website that I could find, no answering machine on their business phone, and as you will note they have not completed their yelp paperwork to receive direct feedback from customers! I should have gone elsewhere. You can be sure that I will not buy my next lawnmower from there, nor ever again use them for service. read more

I would give them zero stars if possible. Not the best experience I've had with a repair service/shop. You first pay a deposit before they will look at your broken or nonworking equipment which is relatively normal, except, they attach a 4% fee if you pay with any type of card. They take checks but only if your D/L number is "printed" on the check. I understand they pay a fee for allowing customers to use cards for payment but the last time I checked, it was between .5% and A.E. at 6%. So they are making money for allowing customers to use cards. That just doesn't seem right. I left my 10 year old pressure washer to be "Looked At" because it was leaking fuel from the carburetor and paid the $50 fee for them to look at and fix the problem, plus 4% fee as I used my debit card, before I knew about the fee. My thoughts were the $50 deposit would cover the costs of the repair and they would call me before the costs exceeded this amount. I'd used this repair shop before and that is what they'd done before. WRONG. The first call I received from them was informing me my machine was fixed and my bill was $175..?? What?? No call, no notice, smoke signals, nothing. They took it upon themselves to fix it without my authorization and charge me for it. So now, if I want my machine back, I have to invest more than it is worth? To say I think they are dishonest would be putting it mildly. read more

They filed my warranty paperwork, order the part(s) needed, did the work and charged me exactly what they quoted (actually less than what they quoted). I will absolutely use this company again. We took the mower to Rockledge mower and they determined issues were correct as we stated and fixed all problems under the toro warrantee program without hesitation. So I was looking for someone to repair a Troy Built weed eater and was referred to this place by a repair shop who was listed as a authorized repair shop for Troy Built. A week later it was ready to be picked up, when I arrived I was totally prepared to pay an arm and a leg. NOT SO.. They told me that they found that the weed eater was only 2 years old and still under warranty, all which was unknown to me. Worst customer service ever! They deserve ZERO star if that was an option. Six times, I had an appointment with this guy to deliver me a new riding lawn mower. I took time off from work six times to be home for the delivery. Six times they were a NO SHOW, six times they never called me to apologize and reschedule, six times I had to call them back to reschedule, six times, "Jay" was very rude over the phone and each time hung up on me, the customer... I was looking for someone to sharpen a push mower blade. They were able to do it on the spot. I drove in, they grabbed the mower out of the back. By the time I had gone in and paid, the service was done and they loaded it back up for me. All less then 15 minutes and under $20. (It's under $10 if you just bring in the blade itself). Dropped off my mower, problem with getting fuel.. Picked it up and it took the guy 6-8 pulls to get it started. I walked over and said something is still wrong, he explained that the tank was empty and he had to refill it so it took a few extra pulls.. I was skeptical but left with the mower. I get home and it will not start, exactly the same condition as when I took it in... When I questioned the $108.00 and their hourly rate they immediately dropped the bill to $86.00? I was thinking great, still too expensive.. til I made it home and the damn mower won't start at all. It is New Years Eve today so I will find out after the holiday if they stand behind their work.. Unfortunately, it's a half hour drive to take my mower back in... *** Update: Took my mower back in due to not starting or firing.. Unloaded it with the young guys help, he was hired in October and I don't remember his name. He took the gas cap off and put it back on and said that might do it.... I was a bit skeptical but pulled on the cord, started up after a couple of pulls.... I thought I had opened the gas cap up but apparently had not and felt a little foolish... all is good! After being told 3 times that my trimmer would be ready in the next 2 days, I finally went to pick up my un-repaired trimmer and my refund after 2 weeks. They returned the trimmer (which was still sitting on the shelf from when I brought it in) but refused to return me the refund. When I confronted them on their lack of timeliness, communication, professionalism, and customer service. I took a pressure washer in saying that it was bogging down and no pressure when spraying and I thought it needed service. When I left, I wasn't happy with the outcome. However, Greg, the Service Manager phoned me to discuss what happened. He asked me to bring it back in and, no matter the issue, he would fix it correctly. And he followed through with that promise. My take on this service call is that not everything that happens goes as you would like. But these guys followed up and made sure the service was taken care of to my satisfaction. Great showroom. Clean well appointed displays. well organized professional appearance... shattered by bait and switch tactics aimed at getting you to leave equipment for repair and then over billing and underdelivering with shoddy work. "Misrepresentation, no integrity, don't stand by their work" should be on their invoices instead of the Christian phrases they quote. I brought a used power washer that I had been given for a tune up. it started but ran rough. Never connected it to water. They billed me $50 up front, indicated total cost would be about $90, kept the washer for two weeks. When I picked it up I asked if the engine and the washer hade been tested. I was assured twice that they had done all the tests. Total bill $197.00 (they had to replace the carburetor). When I tried to use the washer several weeks later the engine worked fine but would not pass any water. I took it back and was told that the pump was shot and totally corroded. They blamed the failure of the pump on chlorinated local water. I hadn't used the pump since the repair! Many conversations and emails later I am writing this review. Next steps for me is to share my experience in detail with their suppliers and possibly the district attorney. read more

I had the most awful experience with Rockledge mower. I brought a weedeater in that was older than ten years to be fixed. I payed the $40 deposit to get called a whole week later so they could tell me what parts they needed and that they couldn't order them. In five minutes after talking on the phone with them, I was able to order the parts myself. I brought them to the shop where they took over a month to replace the parts and God knows what else!? They called and said that they replaced my motor housing that they said I needed but my weedeater wouldn't start. :( Then to top it off, they told me that they were not going to service my item or do business with me again. They were very rude, made me pay $40 more to pick up my broken device that I originally just could not get the string to recoil. I had to call to check on mower and when I was told it was under warranty, I asked if I would receive a refund. Was told 'settle up when you get here'. Low and behold, when I arrive ANOTHER $50 is tacked on for additional work. I explicitly told staff not to perform work without confirming with me and it was ignored. After saying it would take about 10 days to repair they had my equipment for almost 2 months before I got the first piece back, a few more weeks for the second piece. I went in to check on the second piece and the mechanic tried to make me feel bad because I wasn't happy it was talking so long. I called Rockledge Mower and Service late Friday afternoon to schedule a time to service my push mower. I had owned it 5 years and had only sharpened the blades once in that period of time. I noticed that I had to pull the starter rope several times to start the engine and that the engine ran rough. The owner, Jay, answered the phone when I called on Friday and scheduled me for a service appointment first thing in the morning. I dropped off my mower the next morning and got it fully serviced, including sharpening the blades, replacing the oil, replacing the air filter and replacing the spark plug. Jay called me to let me know the mower was ready. I picked up my mower from the shop the next morning and just cut my grass. The engine runs great and cuts beautifully! purchased a riding mower from LOWES, with a service plan. My mower stopped working and lowes service plan setup service with Rockledge Mower & service. appt was set for monday, I called to follow up to make sure and they said they only pick for service on tuesday and didn't plan to make sure I was availble for tuesday eventhough my appt was for monday. while talking to them they expected me to pay a $40 pick fee, which states in the contract all costs are covered by service plan(no put of pocket costs). to top that they said that when they get the mower that it would be serviced after all their business work was completed expect the mower to be looked at in a month or two. 1. they have no communication skills - didn't ensue i was availble for pickup. 2. they tried to make me pay for a service that is covered by service plan. (stealing from me) 3. service of my product not as important as customers no on contract/paying cash. my recommendation for any with a service plan to call back to service plan and speak to a represenative and switch to some other mower service company like I did.
