I will NEVER, EVER use this service again. Very unprofessional…read more Initially, we used this company to replace our ice maker in our LG refrigerator. The repairman who came to our house did not seem to know what he was doing, which required a visit from someone else (who I assumed was his boss). Before our scheduled appointment, my wife had contacted Diaz N Sons and had advised that the cover above the water dispenser was broken and requested that it be addressed at the service visit as well. My wife had sent photographs of the part so that there would be no confusion. When the "boss" arrived, I asked him if he was going to address that as well. He blew it off very quickly, stating, "I wasn't told anything about it." He assured me that the part would be ordered, and since we were "under warranty," it would be installed quickly, and we would only be liable for the part cost. As memory serves, this transpired in April 2026. Between April and July, we contacted Diaz and Sons to get updates and were told two basic responses: 1) The part is on backorder, and we will update you when it arrives, and 2) there has been a family emergency, and we will contact you when we can. Exasperated in July, I took a picture of the model number of the part ($200) and contacted the manufacturer myself. The part arrived within one week and was a simple installation.

Called around and either told "We don't repair Samsung" or given estimate for a service call of a week out. Called Bloom, Andrew called back within a few minutes. Couple of hours later (mostly thawing time because the thing was frozen up like a popsicle) and a few new parts and it's done. Extremely fair pricing (a bit low if you ask me). My last set of washer/dryers lasted 28 years thanks to occasional repairs by Ken. He most recently fixed my over-the-range microwave/convection oven and ordered a magnetron after doing a preliminary evaluation. After the part arrived he returned and took it off the wall and removed the full housing cover he was able to test it more thoroughly and replace an inexpensive part. Even though he special ordered the magnetron he did not charge me for it or for his cost to hold it in inventory. Ken is the kind of professional you want in your house.
