He was able to fix the one burner on the spot and then gave us the option to order the needed parts on our own from Amazon or he could order them from his distributor. We chose to order ourselves for a significant savings. Ed returned a few days later and installed the ordered parts and now we have a perfectly working stove. The repairman who came to our house did not seem to know what he was doing, which required a visit from someone else (who I assumed was his boss). Before our scheduled appointment, my wife had contacted Diaz N Sons and had advised that the cover above the water dispenser was broken and requested that it be addressed at the service visit as well. My wife had sent photographs of the part so that there would be no confusion. When the "boss" arrived, I asked him if he was going to address that as well. He blew it off very quickly, stating, "I wasn't told anything about it." He assured me that the part would be ordered, and since we were "under warranty," it would be installed quickly, and we would only be liable for the part cost. As memory serves, this transpired in April 2026. Between April and July, we contacted Diaz and Sons to get updates and were told two basic responses: 1) The part is on backorder, and we will update you when it arrives, and 2) there has been a family emergency, and we will contact you when we can. Exasperated in July, I took a picture of the model number of the part ($200) and contacted the manufacturer myself. The part arrived within one week and was a simple installation.

Extremely disappointing experience…read more I contacted Capritta Appliances because they are an authorized Samsung repair center. My refrigerator wasn't working properly, and I paid $140 for the diagnostic visit. The technician basically told me the repair would be too expensive and recommended replacing the refrigerator. Then--nothing. They never called me back with a repair estimate, never followed up, and never explained the next steps. I had to call them myself several days later. I was actually ready to buy a new Samsung refrigerator from Capritta and even had one selected from their website. It was the last day of a Memorial Day promotion, and I explained that I needed a refrigerator urgently. The sales department still couldn't help me and insisted everything had to be done by email. I eventually spoke with supervisor Rebecca, but I felt completely dismissed rather than helped. I then called another company. They delivered a new refrigerator the next day AND determined that my old refrigerator was actually repairable. So I paid Capritta $140, received no estimate, no follow-up, and no meaningful solution--while another company solved my problem. Extremely frustrating customer service. I will never use Capritta again and cannot recommend them based on my experience.

They installed a brand new air conditioning system back in June and it has been leaking and…read moredripping water ever since and 2 months later they came out for the fifth attempt to repair it and 9 hours later the caulk is liquid as water and there is active water sitting on the system AGAIN and worse than ever before. When I reached out to their customer service, I was told that despite the fact that they offer a one-year warranty to remove the system they would send me a quote for a cost to remove it. Each time they come out they find new issues with the previous repair job but ultimately blame it on the heat. Their poor system has caused water damage in my garage and in the vent nearest the handler and it's been ignored the last two attempts to repair the system. At this point I am not interested in a sixth time at my home. To add insult to injury, the last time they showed up they drove across my lawn leaving about a 10-ft rut in brand new sod and said nothing to me about it. The last photos are 24 hrs after their FIFTH time at my home. The silver tape is covered in condensation and there is active standing water on the horizontal portion of the handler stand, AGAIN. The caulk about 9 hours after installation was wet to the touch like pen ink. That was the same issue with the mastic 3 in 4 days after it was installed and the owner blamed it on the brand of mastic they were using yet they came out with a second type of brand and 3 days later it was also dripping. To add insult to injury last night I requested a date for them to come and remove the system. Their contract specifically states that they will remove and refund 100% if the customer is not happy with the system within a year. It is written in plain English. Today the owner responds back with the availability to have the system removed and tells me that oh by the way, they're only going to refund me 90% because of a finance fee between him and the finance company he contracts. So he expects me to take a $1,100 loss for a system that's been causing damage to my home for 3 months and I've wasted probably about 25 hours of paid time off to have to come home and wait on his technicians to attempt to repair it once again. The owner has never acknowledged any responsibility to the issues and continually blamed it on "me not happy with the systems performance" yet his agent when I have sent texts with photos of the issues has acknowledged on several occasions that there are issues with the system or install.
