Both times my mom had appointments they were canceled the day of or the day before. Never called me to reschedule her. My dad had an appointment to see the dentist and ended up leaving after 45 minutes of waiting. They took countless people before him. I'm writing this on behalf of my parents who were not treated with kindness or respect. This place is ran poorly and very sloppy. I'm happy they are now forced to go elsewhere because I'm sure the work done would be a reflection of their horrendous practice. read more

A Bitchy Woman who will argue with you about billing until you are tired..! 2. She is rude...! 3. She talks demeaningly to you..! 4. She has zero patience..! She needs to resign, be fired or quit. I had an appointment this morning with rockledge dental first patient visit. Was told by a little rude Mr gooseman that I needed to see a pair of Donna's I've ever seen a periodontist in my life my teeth are not that bad this is a second dentist appointment I've had I had another dentist appointment with a previous dentist with a previous insurance who had a complete plan for me to see a periodontist and then fix my chip tooth and fix my crown this man Mr gooseman Dr Guzman made it seem like my teeth were going to fall out extremely rude and then accused me of being rude these are rip off con artists do not go to this place then they charge me $89 my dental insurance should have covered 100%, the x-rays and the first patient visit I left there oh yeah and the lady told me when I said this is the third dentist I've seen I seen one abroad in Europe I seen one around the corner oh and they had a treatment plan for me she's like well some dentists are willing to work on your teeth even though they're going to fall out what a thing to say do not go to this place they are complete rip off ripoffs , rude and all around ugly. I think they are 8n the business of wanting to pull teeth and put dentures in. They gave me a referral to a periodontist which I threw in the waistbasket in their reception on my way out the door. Don't bother coming here. Find a better dentist office. I came here for a cash estimate on a deep cleaning, and they wanted to charge me $1,100. Wow. I went down the road to another dentist and they did the same thing for under $400 and they were nice and eager to help me. Dr. Ahmed wasn't any help either. If you are nervous in anyway of going to the dentist I wouldn't go here. My first visit was weird because everyone felt like that had to be short about everything. They couldn't my paperwork on the first day so I had to redo it even tho I did the pre-registration and they were weird and short with me about it. That was first visit and for the second visit they chose to reschedule me just 2 hours before I had an appointment scheduled for and when we called they told us it's because there person didn't want to come in that early. So she was able to go later in the day and we pay for it all right then and the lady said I wouldnt to pay anything the next time I'm in for the other the other side it was a week later. So now I'm on visit number three and as usual there short about stuff and hey maybe there busy that's fine but go to leave and I'm told I more money so I ask for a break down and stuff and then they ask if they can help the person behind me and I say yes so I wait patiently and and when they are done with her she tells me good luck that happens normal for her here so then I go up to the counter again and I'm getting the price break down and it comes out they messed up and didn charge enough so I want to cancel my next appointment and a lady has a weird attitude and tell me I still need to get it done and then when I say yes that's fine I just want to go somewhere more professional she gets offended and tells me she doesn't work at an unprofessional place before that she was trying to tell she can explain it all to me again right after another lady explained it to me and told me how they messed up and didn't do the math right so I'm guessing that lady that thought she could explain it better must of not been listening. I could not be more happy with rockledge dental. I have not been to the dentist in six years and I am so glad that I have now found a great dentist in Florida. the receptionist was very friendly and took the time to answer any questions that I had and she never made me feel like I was annoying her. I was very impressed with how gentle they were when cleaning my teeth and filling my cavities. They always had me in and out without a long wait and never made me feel rushed. all the staff seemed to go above and beyond for me. And the fact that I had no insurance and they still treated me like I mattered made me very happy. Rockledge Dental is the best around and I highly recommend them for you dental needs! read more

Be very wary! I recently went for infection, tooth was chipped and broke off, gland swollen where tooth was. Dentist said gland had nothing to do with tooth, see my MD for that. In meantime they scheduled me for removal of tooth as they said it not salvageable and that it. No antibiotics, no pain med, nothing. AND, big AND, staff is NOT knowledgeable about insurance, payments, nothing. Not nice either, talk at you as if you ignorant, when in reality they are. According to my MD, swollen gland was infection from tooth, antibiotics and pain med given. Swelling down within 3 days, tooth pain gone too. Saw another dentist...tooth is salvageable, gave me more antibiotics and asked if I wanted pain meds. Am scheduled for root canal in few days. read more

Rockledge Dental has had me out of work twice this week trying to get my four year old daughter's teeth cleaned. Her dental insurance is through Blue Cross Blue Shield, and instead of dealing with the insurance company themselves they wanted me to get the billing codes and amount before the appointment. They called yesterday, while I was at work, and gave me a three hour window to accomplish this. I got the message an hour and half after the window closed. So now, for the second time this week, I'm out of work, and my daughter's teeth still aren't clean. I can't recommend this office to anyone. Every other Dr/dentist I've ever dealt with has their staff navigate insurance claims. These people are too much. read more

Rockledge dental was great about a year ago. Now you come to your appointments and they have said they have called to cancel and have not. The wait time is always longer than 20 min. The front desk people do not know when ortho patients should be scheduled. Etc. I have been very very disappointed. Do Not Go Here! This office talked me into 4 caps. I had them done and all of them failed within about 6 months. I spent thousands of dollars at this dentist and their inept ability to file insurance claims cost me quite a few extra dollars. They are still trying to bill me for procedures that they never bothered to send the insurance claims in. This facility has a different dentist every other month and the one you saw last time is not the one you see the next time. The latest dentist had the nerve to tell me that the reason my caps failed is because the last dentist made them too big. Save your money don't go here. This is a great dentist if you happen to have all the time in the world to wait! The office staff is great but after scheduling an appointment, then spending an hour and 15 minutes sitting in the chair with no hopes of having my chipped tooth repaired anytime soon, I decided that it would be better if I found another dentist that isn't so busy. If this had been an isolated incident, or I didn't have to take time off work, because I realize things, it would be no problem but, unfortunately, this is one of many times that I had been left waiting, without an explanation as to why. Absolutely the worst dentist office I've been to. In 2016 Dr. Ahmed did a filling, and I adamantly complained it didn't feel right. That tooth has now abscessed. Returning to Rockledge Dental, Dr. Nestor Guzman DMD stated he would not do work in my mouth until I had a cleaning. Let's be honest, my gums are at 2mm and below - couldn't be healthier. I have zero plaque, even below the gum line. All issues in my mouth are the result of faulty dental work I likely didn't need in the first place, but unfortunately I was too young and naïve to understand that dentists are a lot like car salesmen. Prior to dental work, I had routine cleanings with no discoloration, cracks, chips or sensitivity. I fell for the gimmick and had fillings put in otherwise perfect teeth. And because dentists never seem to stay put, every different dentist wants to critique and redo the work of predecessors. This makes for A LOT of nerve disruptions. After so many bad visits, who wants to go to the dentist? Especially when you never had a true underlying issue and the outcome is from their work. I look at Dr. Guzman's business card and I can't help but to feel deceived. It pictures a dental implant, that of which he does not do. Nor does he do root canals. This guy should be able to tell what's really going on in my mouth, and it's not a hygiene issue. When I attempted to explain I needed issues resolved so that I could get back to a regular routine of 6-month cleanings, I could see he simply was not up to par to complete an evaluation and dental plan, let alone be able to perform lasting work. I had to ask him 3 times to move so I could get up and leave, because there was no way with his demeanor and the false information provided that I was going to allow him to touch my mouth. I've been through enough! DO NOT GO TO ROCKLEDGE DENTAL. You WILL have issues with the work performed and you won't see the same dentist when it happens. I was in the chair all of 13 minutes, I will follow-up this review with what they attempt to bill my insurance. Worst than Worst!! I had my root canal done at this place with Dr, Torres who seem like a nice guy because he was very friendly but definitely Worst Dentist!!!!! After 1 year of suffering discomfort from my root canal tooth now I have an Infection! There is a big lump inside my gum right next to where he did the root canal, It's been bothering me since after the surgery thought it was just part of symptoms after getting a root canal. After I spent so much money to save my tooth this is how it's gonna end up me getting infection and going to get my tooth pulled. I am so disappointed and so upset!! I spoke with the people who work in Rockledge Dental they weren't much of a help. They said that Dr, Torres is no longer working with them anymore and that they have to take me as a new patient because they have a different dentist now. Do not go to this place!!!!!!! Root Canal Failed!!!!! Soooo Disappointed!!! Now my health is at risk because of this. read more

After finding an insurance company that the dentist would take, I signed up for it and became a member. Once that was done, I registered with the dental office and they verified that they took my insurance company (Humana DHMO); the receptionist found my name on a list of names sent to them from the insurance company; she showed it to me, so that I could see that I was, indeed, a current member of the insurance plan. I was seen for my dental work February 25th, 2015, and I had 2 fillings done. According to the insurance data, this would involve copays of $70 per filling. This was verified by the dental office; they took the payment on the same day of service for $140. Then I get a letter dated March 29th, 2015; it says they haven't been able to resolve my claim from the Feb. 25th date of service. They ask that I call the insurance company to find out why the insurance company isn't paying them. They also state in the letter that if they can't get money from the insurance company within 30 days, then the bill will go directly to me. I went to the manager of the location on April 9th, 2015 and spoke with her; I inquired as to why I was receiving the letter, when it is the job of their billing dept to handle the issues like this. I informed the manager that the billing dept needs to call and find out how to properly file the claim so they can get paid. The manager told me in no uncertain terms that "Oh, we don't have a billing dept. Our staff makes calls like this throughout the week when they have time; but they do make these calls". Upon being asked just how often those calls get made, the manager refused to give a direct answer, stating only that "I don't have an answer to your question. But you will get a bill if the insurance company does not pay". I informed her that I would not be paying for anything outside of the copay, because it was her office staff that assured me that my two fillings were a covered service and that all that I would be responsible for would be the $140 copay ($70 for each filling). I left after that, seeing that she was not going to be of any help whatsoever. At no time did she state anything that could possibly even remotely construed as helpful. She said that if I "would only call the insurance, then I would probably find out that the check was in the mail". ((Really? Isn't that what their job is???)) I would have been satisfied if she'd stated "I'll make sure that a call is made today", or "Let me have your full contact info so I can reach out to you when this is resolved, which should be within # days"... but I did not get anything at all from her. I do not feel it is my job to tell a business how to properly file claims for reimbursement; they should KNOW how to do their job. The ONLY possibility that comes to mind is that they are trying to double dip; meaning, that they want me to pay them and they want the insurance company to pay them also. Even though I did not feel that I should have to, I called the insurance company on April 13th, 2015, at 12:16 pm, and spoke with Roxanne B. She listened to my story and quite firmly stated that the dental office should not be billing me for the remainder of my visit; she also confirmed that I should only be responsible for my copays. Roxanne then went one step further and called the dental office while I was on the line; unsurprisingly, they did not answer... Roxanne stated she would call them until she got through, & then call me back to let me know what was going on. I did get a call back from Roxanne later that same day at 12:47; she stated that she did speak to the dental office & that they had been instructed on not sending any bills outside of my copay to me directly, that they should be resolving it with the insurance. With this, I thought, it was all resolved... Which brings me to today; I hold a letter dated April 19th, 2015; it is the second request for the billing resolution, and that they now have no option but to bill me directly. I have already filed one complaint against their office. I am considering charges next. read more

It is a very comfortable and clean office and each and every one of the staff members I spoke with were kind, professional, patient, and personable. Terrible Professional Service and Practice for notification of balance due. Not just one single phone call, to let me know that I had an outstanding balance that they said was being mailed, which I never received. Had the means to pay the balance. Only found out all this when I went to get a appointment and was declined service. This company already put a debt collection company on me, as it was explained the day I asked for an appointment, but was denied. They offered a $20 dollar reduction in over $100 dollars of interest and collection cost added on balance due, but I would still be guilty of being delinquent on my account that I was not in a professional business way, notified of. They said that they didn't get their mail invoices back, so it was assumed that I was not going to pay. The only document they provided on the day of trying to get a much needed appointment before my insurance runs out, shows a grossly misspelled street name they were using to supposedly mail the invoices. It's the principle of not being guilty and the original amount was never a issue to be paid if given a simple single phone call of these issue before they sent it to a debt collector. Terrible practice. Hygenists were rude, customer service check out person even ruder. We were new patients. Clearly wrote on paperwork we were there for a check up and cleaning. They took my MINOR son back first. After one hour and a half, I was called back for my appointment. They wanted to do 18 xrays on me as a new patient. They had already done this to my son. In my 40+ years I have never heard of doing 18 xrays as an initial visit. Maybe a panaramic, but 18??? Maybe in the dark ages of dentistry. I got up out of the chair right then and requested to be with my son. They HAD done the 18 xrays on him and were recommending a root canal on one of his eye teeth. First they said he damaged it in an accident a year old (skull fracture to back of his head) then they said it was damaged by his braces that were taken off a year ago. He said this tooth has never hurt. They gave us a treatment plan totalling over $1200.00 and tried to force me to sign it. Crazy, crazy. And did I mention they don't do cleanings on the first visit? So now we have to wait. I changed our dental provider from this practice before I even left the parking lot. Never have I had an experience like that! Beware. read more
