You get a nice room with a comfy double bed, flat screen TV, small desk and chair, L shaped corner sofa and a nice bathroom with a large shower (big enough for two). The staff were really friendly and helpful too. Breakfast was a buffet of hot foods and the usual toast, cereal and yoghurts. And there was also late night bar for those drinks after work. But expect to pay hotel prices. Nearby there's a Dominoes pizza, Greggs and Subway, if you're peckish, or a Wetherspoons next door for more meal options. Overall I enjoyed my stay there, although the whole hotel had the Air Con on a bit too low for my liking (some rooms were centrally controlled). It's a lovely place to stay if you're in town for work, and would even make a good place to stay if you're out for day trips. But the lack of other local amenities makes it less ideal for more relaxed stays.

What was odd was the lack of wash/face cloths, I enquired about this and was told they stopped providing them. We ended up using the hand towels which is not very hygienic since we're leaving damp towels all around the bathroom and creating a lot of laundry for the hotel too, but it's certainly a lot more hygienic than us carrying damp cloths around with us on our travels. I later found out from a hotel in London this is actually normal in the UK now (we live in the USA) bizarre as that is! The bathroom also had issues with a toilet that would not flush fully and which would sometimes run for a long time if you kept trying, but I let it go since we were only here a couple of days. The air conditioning in the room worked fine but you couldn't have it on overnight the compressor was so noisy. More positively, the breakfast buffet was really good and the free wifi was actually very fast and reliable. The bar area in the lobby was also nice with friendly staff. This hotel has a lot of rooms for things like conferences, weddings etc. and I will say they did a good job with my nieces wedding both for the reception, which had a nice large room with patio and garden area out back, and the service was done in a nice Octagonal shaped room. So overall while the rooms may be a little sub par, and the hotel overall a little dated, for the price I probably would consider staying here again if I find myself back in Corby in the future which is possible since I have family there.

Now, the owner of that lets anyone to rent a room, spend night or just have supper in very romantic place. Food was delicious! I had the best dessert I've ever ate! Here you may feel like a lord, qeen or princes, so grab your prince and have a magical time. Wadenhoe House is good to have wedding party, christening, birthday or just romantic dinner for two.
