We were very impressed by this place. Beautiful hotel with great facilities. The pool looks really cool. The food was first class, but the service in bar could have been better. Have stayed again since. Good location if on the move as near the motorway. read more

Great hotel, family normally stay in Hilton hotels but this hotel didn't disappoint. Breakfast was very good with a good selection, didn't try the evening menu though it looked good. The milk & cookies in the evening for the children was a nice touch. Swimming pool & spa facilities were good too. read more

A fantastic find in a very convenient location, close to A14. I thought it would be soulless and corporate but anyone being sent here for a conference is in for a surprise. The spa and pool have been renovated very recently and are top notch; as it was half term they had also laid on lots of child-friendly entertainment and Halloween-themed activities, and I noticed milk and cookies were on offer, which is a nice touch. Our room had gorgeous fluffy scented robes, slippers, a coffee machine, biscuits, fridge with real milk and chilled water and glasses, desk/study area, safe, immaculate and new bathroom with Espa toiletries, comfy beds with mattress toppers plus lots of extra bedding. All the staff were so helpful and friendly, and it genuinely felt like someone was actually working hard to anticipate guests' every need. The Breakfast was very comprehensive with every taste catered for. I can't wait to stay again. read more

We were quite happy with our rooms until we went into the bathroom and saw hairs stuck to the floor. Other than that, the room and furnishings were clean and comfortable and there was a good selection on the breakfast menu. I would use this hotel again and would definitely recommend it to others. Pity about the bathroom though, otherwise I would have given it 100%.

They have now replaced the bath towels with bath sheets so my only complaint has been resolved! Located just off the A14 so central for most places in the Midlands. The pub next door is a standard Brewer's Fayre, again it does what it says on the tin. Decent pub food at reasonable prices.

We love this place..sunday lunches/ wedding anniversary/ meeting friends at the Bar or afternoon tea in front or their lovely fire..Fresh coffee and service with a big smile always. We tried one of their Tribute cabaret nights..choosing Rod Stewart and it was a wonderful experience. The reception with champagne , the circular tables for 10 meant we quickly made friends ..the food beautifully presented and the discounted bed and breakfast afterwards was first class. As we use them often (we stayed there for New Years day and had a suite) they gave us a free upgrade. I joined the Gym and Spa with its big pool. jacuzzi Steam room and sauna. The staff there very encouraging and people of all ages are on their membership. I chose a Monday to Friday option that costs me £50 a month and I get 4 free passes a year for a guest to join me. Best of all 25% of the retaurant and Barwe had our wedding lunch at this beautiful Hotel and go there regularly ever since. read more
